Because I known villains have the power to bring statues, images, objects and even entities to life and control them to do their evil bidding.

The creation of an obligoid can be done through many of way by pouring an all obligoid potion on an object in your home( ingredients the blood of a siren, eye of a golem and the ground up horns of a gargoyle) or even being cursed into becoming one by a spellcaster for procrastinating doing something related to an item your now an anthro of it varies wildly. Obligoids are loyal to their masters(creators or cursegivers) cursed ones are only let go when they have full filled their chore.

Background:

Born in a family of three, including his mother, his father, and his older sister, Scott found himself with a strange ability. He could bring to life what he drew and wrote. His parents feared him, knowing that he could kill them at any moment. He was treated as a freak by everyone that knew. So, he found himself using poetry as an escape from this harsh reality. Many of his poems and books were published as he earned money from them. Though, he found that he was not the only person with this ability, as a man with this same ability became a menace to society. It became Scott’s mission to stop this man.
