Last Time on Pokémon Typers
It has been a week since I arrived in the Kalos Region. I have been practicing my Gnatdett Character and made an incredible discovery of my powers. When I used my Skin Crawl ability during a spar with Ofek, I learned I could control the "mites" I generate to infest my foes. But that's not the coolest part. When I tried to "reabsorb" them because I was done using them, some got into my throat and changed my voice. I spent a day playing around with this until I found the perfect voice for Gnatdett. I sounded like a cartoon character. Although it was a bit feminine, what's a good actor without some range in their voice?
It was time for Amirah's announcement for this year's Pokemon League. I was to introduce her to the crowd of news reporters and cameras. This is also my official debut to the public. I was very nervous, but my fellow Typers reassured me. I activated my Ability Mode and got my mites into my throat to get my Gnatdett voice. I took some breathing exercises that Jara told me before using my Attack Mode to sprout my wings to fly around everybody.
Beckett (G. Voice): "Dztehehe! Good day, everyone. I am Gnatdett, your itty bitty friend for this year's Pokémon League, and I am buzzing with excitement to introduce The World Champion, Amirah!"
The crowd cheered for the champion, but I could hear some of the reporters complimenting me. That was a win for me.
Amirah: "Thank you, Gnatdett. I promise you all that this year's Pokémon League will be unlike anyone has ever seen before, but the general rules are the same: Every Trainer will only have up to three Pokémon. One Battle Item can be used during each Match, and our new friend, Gnatdett, will give the rest in his many skits. But I have something else to say. To all you Typers out there, I personally invite you to participate. By joining this competition, no one is allowed to capture you. We have set up jamming devices throughout most of Kalos to prevent Pokéballs from catching Pokémon and you—all thanks to the contribution from The Aether Foundation. You will gain asylum here in Kalos if you complete the various challenges and receive four badges. And Speaking of Typers, allow me to introduce my Elite Four..."
Ofek, Cennet, Jara, and I walked up to the stage to be introduced.
Amirah: "Ofek, The Fairy King of War."
Ofek: "Bring out your best Pokémon because I won't hold anything back!"
Amirah: "Cennet, The Ghastly Inventor of Ancient Sciences."
Cennet: "Hehe."
Amirah: "Jara, The Draconic Beauty, and Brawn."
Jara: "Oh Gee. That was a bit too much for ol' me."
Amirah: "Finally, it's our Itty Bitty Friend, Gnatdett."
Beckett: "Dztehehe!"
Amirah: "Can any of you topple these monsters and the teams they will assemble? Come over to Kalos in a month to find out."
After that announcement, a few days passed by. I was around the clock making videos about specific rules to follow during The Pokémon League and life lessons because I appear to be very popular with kids, so Amirah and others wanted to capitalize on that. From "The Proper Pokéball Throwing Technique" to "Always Groom your Pokémon Before Official Battle," almost nothing was off the table to help inform the masses.
Soon, the day that I have been waiting for, The Arceus Terra, a giant hovering facility based on the famous Terarium that was created over 200 years ago, came. This was where I was going to acquire my team. Since I count as a Pokémon, I will be my first pick. So I only need two. Being The Bug Typer, that means my specialty would be...Bugs. I never had a Pokémon before. I couldn't cut it during the Trainer Exams, but thanks to my Elite Four and Typer Status, I have the authority and innate combat skills to get my team.
Within the Arceus Terra, I could feel the Bug Pokémon. It was like Jara always described. I could sense and feel their thoughts, dreams, and instincts. But more importantly, they can sense me. The rest of the Elite Four and I stood by the entrance because our Pokémon approached us. Ofek's team was himself, Granbull, and Tinkaton. Cennet was herself, Spiritomb, and Dusknoir. Jara's team was herself, Dragapult, and Goodra. My team was me, Volcarona, and Kleavor.
Jara and I didn't put our Pokémon inside PokéBalls due to bad experiences involving them, but Ofek and Cennet had no problem. With our team assembled, we had to train not only with our newly acquired Pokemon but ourselves. We will most likely be fighting other Typers, especially Akari.
Time flew by; training, making informative videos, and helping Amirah formulate her plans for the region all seemed like a blur. Ofek was traveling around Kalos to distract himself from thinking about battling, Cennet locked herself in her lab working on illegal technology, and Jara and I were the only ones who kept training.
Dragon Typer Jara wants to battle.
Beckett activated Ability Mode: Skin Crawl.
Jara activated Ability Mode: Dragon Fortune.
Beckett: "So, you are going with activating ability first, too."
Jara: "You never know, Becko."
Beckett used Strategic Retreat.
Jara pursues.
Beckett used Bob and Weave.
Jara used a "normal" Low Kick = 2 HP of Damage.
Beckett activated Attack Mode: Threatening Wing = 26 HP of Damage. It was a Critical Hit.
Jara: "Hehe."
Beckett: "Oh no. A Critical Hit."
Jara activated Attack Mode: Draco Whim = 50 HP of Damage. It was a Critical Hit.
Beckett Surrendered
Beckett: "Baa! Okay, I give up. You win. Ahem! It doesn't matter who wins or loses if you learn something new."
Jara: "Awww! That voice is so good I keep forgetting that you are the same person."
Beckett: "Thanks a lot, Jara. It was the role I was reborn to play when I became a Typer. Ahem! I got what I always wanted from joining Amirah, but I haven't forgotten why you joined. We will get Kyurem from that purple-tailed punk."
Jara: "You're right. The Pokemon League begins tomorrow, and Mewtwo will blow through the competition. Then, I will challenge him for Kyurem's freedom."
Beckett: "Yeah, and the held item that Cennet made for you will help."
Cennet: "Hey, you two. Team Meeting with the boss."
Jara and I discussed with the others the plan to give Kalos the power it needs to change the world.
Next time on Pokémon Typers- Ep.7: Sparks Fly and Lightning Roars!
Typer Pokédex
Dragon Typer Jara, The Dragon Guru Pokémon
This is one of the most mystically adept Dragon-type Pokémon in the world. She tends to spend her time traveling and communing with others with gentle souls. She can heal and cure others of almost any ailment. Her compassion is vast, but underneath is still the ferocity found in most of her kind.
Ability Mode: Dragon Fortune- The next attack or move will be a Critical Hit or more effective if the user received a Critical hit prior.

Disclaimer: As the title says, this will not be an actual video game. This is a creative project/ RP series (Hopefully). During the next few Posts, They will discuss what would happen in the game's main story or Main Chapters. They will be roleplaying elements to see how our characters respond to their situation.
Story: You are a person who once was in an orphanage in The Township under The Green Sky. You have left it either from being adopted or left to find your place in the world. But due to The Player finding out a plot that could destroy the world as they know it, They are tracking you down to enlist your help along with others. Full Prologue Here.
Character Sheet Here
Special Announcement: Once in a while, I will select a player's OC and commission them to become an actual character. The same art style as my character, Copucazil (in Example Character Sheet). This is a project, and I like to visualize these characters properly. So here is another sheet for specific info:
Appearance: (What will the character look like?)
Clothing:
Pose:
Power/Skill: (How would you show off your power or skill)
Other: (Any further details like hair color, markings, items, etc.
You can put this underneath the Extra Info section or do it later when I contact you when I choose your character. This will also act as a finalization of your character. Once your character is finished, you cannot change their name, ability, or appearance, but everything else is still changeable.
Warning: These Mechanics won't exist in actual roleplay. These are ideas of what if this was an authentic RPG Video Game.
In DD, there are some essential mechanics to consider. One of them is that each character will help The Player with a move or ability called a Duty.
Each Duty is divided into four types: Fighter, Defender, Archer, and Supporter. Usually, The Player can only equip one party member of each type. Visually, The Player will have a Defender on the left of them, A Fighter on the right, and an Archer and Supporter behind them. They are a squad.
Fighters: They deal with close-range attacks. A character of this type's job is to attack anything near The Player, like enemies, obstacles, etc. On a PlayStation controller, they are the Circle Button, and with the analog stick, they will attack in the pointed direction, even in mid-air or underwater. Every Fighter hits almost the same way except for their unique effect.
Archers: They are the ones who shoot projectiles, each having a different effect depending on the party member. Similar to The Fighters, only long-range. They are the Triangle Button and will shoot in any direction the analog stick points.
Defender: They are The Player's shield. Most of them will help reduce the damage of attacks and counter with an effect depending on the party member. They are the Square Button can defend where ever the analog stick points.
Supporters: These are party members who have the ability that affects The Player or the environment in any way. They are the R1 Button.
Inspired by Games like Mass Effect, Fire Emblem, and Persona, The other major mechanic is The Bond Gauges. Each party member has two gauges, Player and Roster.
The Player Gauge is the bond between them and The Player. This can be raised by having the character equipped or doing activities. Once their gauge is filled, They will gain a new and more powerful effect.
The Roster Gauge is the bond between a character with rest of the party. It can be raised like The Player Gauge, but something different happens when it is filled. The gauge would calculate the top 3 party members that contributed the most to the gauge. The Player (The Actual Gamer) selects one of the three, and then they become Bonded as Best Friends or a Couple (depending on Sexuality). The party member gains effect based on their bonded partner. If the Top 3 are already Bonded, The gauge goes down by 50% and refills, excluding the previous picks.
Before Starting
This Video Game will be an open-world RPG with Real-time Combat. It is similar to Final Fantasy 7 Remake and The Kingdom Hearts Series.
It would initially be released on The PlayStation before going to other consoles.
Our OCs are The Party Members/Roster, while The Player (I will call them that for now) creates the Main Character through a character creator.
Story
Our story begins at The Orphanage in the Township under The Green Sky. The Player, around 16-18, sits in his room with a scrapbook. It is filled with pictures of various individuals. They are their friends from across the years. They missed them, and it would soon be time for them to leave the orphanage. All his friends had already left, either being adopted or leaving to find their place in the world.
That evening The Player sees faint sparks near the A Converter. It is a massive machine that draws excess Astrunxa from the aurora above and harvests the various space material and power from it. After fleeing some Altered or Awakened Creatures, the Player decided to check it out. They found an almost buried cable connecting the converter to something elsewhere. He followed the line to a hidden base underneath a hill. The place was crawling with people in uniform with a symbol on them.
The Player sneaks around until he hears a conversation between who appears to be the leader to his someone else.
Leader: "Remember to keep this line hooked to the A Converter. With it, the other seven will be able to accomplish what The Confraternity of Semidarkness had been striving for. To Return the Sun to the sky. You have your orders, Manager Nathan."
Nathan: "Yessir, Grand Leader Oxen."
Oxen walks off and passes The Player's hiding spot, and says: "When all the Astrunxa returns to their proper form, the world will be helpless to my power, for there will be no Altered that will survive this process, and The Awakened will have nothing to work with. I will have my own sun to rule over all."
The Player freaked a bit but regained their composure. They need to return to the converter, remove the cable, and tell the local authorities. They left the base to do just that. The Player yanked the line and got doused in Astrunxa in its unrefined state, deadly to living creatures because of the molten heat. They did not want it to end this way before they succumbed to the plasma, The Player glowed, and it was absorbed into their body. They did not understand at first, but they soon realized they had become an Altered to survive the Astrunxa.
COS and Manager Nathan then ambushed the Player. They reinstalled the cable and dug it back into the ground. Nathan told The Player that they most likely knew too much and were ordered to be killed, but before that, The Player fought back with Astrunxa around them. Nathan used his own powers to combat them, but The Player managed to pull off a win. Nathan ordered a retreat, for they were not prepared for this situation. The Player used his power to destroy the cable. The following day, they told the local authority and managed to apprehend some of the members in the hidden base.
The Player did tell the cops that the organization is targeting other converters, but they are under the other countries' jurisdiction. They could not get involved. In their room, The Player doesn't believe that telling them would be enough. They need to be proactive, but they are one person. They stared at their scrapbook and formulated an idea. They went to the old orphanage's bulletin board and put their friends' pictures on it. They need a team they can trust, and they will find them to ask for their help.
Who are they going to find first?

I dreamed of a big steak until I heard a whimpering sound around me. I woke up in the middle of the night. What is that noise? I looked around and noticed it was coming from Wren, who was crying in his sleep.
Wren: "no...I need...home...please..."
I saw this before back in the Ryagombi and even did it when I arrived there. One of the older children hummed a tune that calmed me while I slept. I don't know if this would work on someone who was relatively the same age as me, but here I go.
Pagani: "Hmmaaaawoooooo. Hmmaaawooooo. HmmaaaACHOoooo!"
Wren woke up from my blunder.
Pagani: "Ahhh! I messed it up."
Wren: "What are you doing?"
Pagani: "You were crying in your sleep, and I was trying something to help, but I sneezed."
Wren: "Sigh...Look. I know you are trying to be friendly, but I don't belong here."
Pagani: "What do you mean?"
Wren: "I have been trying to explain to your superiors for days, but I am from another world."
Pagani: "Another world? Are you an alien?"
Wren: "I am from another universe similar to yours."
Pagani: "So, the dress. Is that normal in your "unaverse?"
Wren: "It is certainly a bit common, but personally, this is my choice."
Pagani: "Well, I must admit this whole thing is over my head. Can you start from the top?"
Wren: "I want to go back to sleep, but..."
I heard Wren's stomach growling.
Pagani: "I put some food and drinks on your desk."
Wren: "Oh, thank you."
After he stuffed his face, he started talking. Unbeknownst to him, I began dozing off and started to miss some details.
Wren: "I came from a planet called Earth...around 10, my mother became very sick...there was this girl I liked...he introduced me to anime like Cowboy Bebop and...I like to consider myself as...when my new boyfriend and our friends found out, they posted a lot of...eventually, I ran away and wished I was somewhere else, and something granted my wish...the first thing I saw coming out of the light was this huge lady who attacked me with a sword. The same one was there when I met you and the others."
Pagani:...Zz...wha-what? "Huge Lady? Are you talking about Horrui?"
Wren: "Yeah, she was crazy. I thought I was a goner before the alarm from my cellphone went off and distracted her. She fired a beam straight up, landing right on her left arm. Then a soldier found us and brought me here. The rest is what you should already know."
Pagani: "Hahaha! So, you were the light that came from the sky? Thanks, man. She about to do the exact same thing to me before you came. I don't know what her deal was. She just dragged me out to the forest as soon as I arrived her."
Wren: "Ah...no problem, man. Its funny. I tried to get to people to accept me for who I am, but they cannot see pass my ideals. When I got here, I'm even more alone than before. Now, I just want to return home."
I don't completely understand what Wren was all about, but one thing about him was clear. He was looking for validation...just like me, which is enough for me to recognize.
Pagani: "I understand. I only got here because I found an item in the desert after being chewed by...(Recoiled from memories)...wild dogs and attacked by a giant monster. When I arrived and made the mistake of revealing that I could read or write with a "W," everybody treated me like the town loser. I wanted to be an Elite because I wanted people to see past my situation and what makes me great. We are destined to be roommates. So, let's make a pact to be friends, to stride to support each other until I can be recognized and you can get back to Earth, right?"
Wren (smiling weirdly): "Hehe, fine. You won me over. Let's do this."
We both shuck hands.
Pagani: "This is going to be soooo grand, Dude!"
Wren: "Uhhh, can you call me something other than dude or man?"
Pagani: "Hmmm, how about "Friend?"
Wren: "Works for me."
The next morning...
Wren & Pagani: "WE HAVE TO FIGHT EACH OTHER!"
