Dimensional Interaction

I have a doubt about the power of dimensional interaction. What exactly is meant by interaction? That I become as if I were an inhabitant of that dimension or that I acquire the characteristics of that dimension? For example, if I interact with a completely burning dimension, what happens?

• Am I burning alive from the flames?

• Do I become immune to fire or did I acquire a high resistance like the inhabitants of the dimension?

• Or does my body temperature rise highly due to the flames of dimension?

Can you explain this superpower to me?
