Dian Cécht is the Celtic god of healing, son of Dagda, member of the Tuatha dé Danann, healer of the gods, and inventor of medical practices and herbology. He is the one to craft Nuadu's silver hand, but his son crafted one of flesh and blood. Because of that, and due to apparent jealousy, he killed said son, though as his son was a god, he came back and they remained cordial. In the second battle of Mag Tuired, Dian Cecht restored life to fallen Tuatha by bathing them in the Tipra Slaine, better known as the ‘Spring of Life’, which he had ownership of. He could heal ailments with meals he crafted, typically porridge, or by simply singing incantations. He's not one to go into battle and fight with weapons, but if pushed into a corner, he is known to transform into a giant bear. His sacred symbol is a staff that bleeds from one end and sprouts from the other.
