You are on an expedition in the Sahara Desert, looking for the lost city of Medeis. Legends say that the city holds untold treasure and an ancient secret. You already have a compass that will lead you to the city, yet you have been following it for days and there has been nothing for the entirety. As you are about to give up, the compass suddenly flies from your hands, and a few feet in front of you, before dropping into the sand, before sinking beneath it.
A few seconds pass by as you tempt to contemplate what happened, before the ground beneath you begins to shake and open. You lose your balance and fall into a crevice. You eventually come to and look around. You seem to be in a room of some sort. As your eyes adjust you are in chamber full of all types of trinkets and treasures. You found it! As you rejoice at your luck, something catches your eye.
In the center of the chamber, just a few meters a head, you see it. The First Lamp. An object so powerful it's said to grant whomever holds it immense power. You race over to it and pick it up. You don't feel any different and try a few techniques. After some time you are about to give up, you accidentally rub the lamp. It starts to glow, shake, and burn. A powerful vacuum suddenly comes from the spout, and your sucked in.
You come to once more, except this time you're in an entirely new location. An entire world. You are starting to get nervous, when you turn around and see him.
"Hello there human. I am Voltumis, The First Genie. It has been so long since I've seen another one of you come to me for wishes. I've deeply missed it. Enough about me, how about you? What do you desire the most? Three ABSOLUTE WISHES all for you. I do have 2 rules however:
I can't grant you Omnipotence, no matter how much you want it
You are unable to wish for more wishes, you only get three
Another thing I should mention is that due to my status and power, I have the ability to deny, withhold, or manipulate any wishes I grant. Once you're satisfied, simply state "Thank you" and the lamp will set you free. Other than that, what are your wishes?"
