Appearance
Brock is a living (or rather, undead) skeleton, with bones that glow faintly under the green flames that wreathe his skull. His eye sockets burn with an eerie green fire, and his “hair” is made of flickering green flames that resemble a wild, spiked mohawk. His skeletal frame is lean and tall, with every bone perfectly intact and polished to a creepy sheen. His jaw is perpetually locked in a mischievous grin, and his movements are accompanied by the faint clattering of bones.
Brock’s attire is a mix of rockstar flair and undead chic. He wears a torn black leather jacket over a faded band t-shirt (usually featuring bands like Metallica or Black Sabbath), paired with ripped black jeans and heavy combat boots. Around his neck hangs a necklace made of small skulls, and his fingers are adorned with spiked rings. The green flames from his skull often spill over onto his jacket, giving him an otherworldly, intimidating aura.
Personality
Brock is the definition of stubborn and defiant. Even in death, he refuses to conform to anyone’s expectations, especially not the undead lich king who resurrected him (telling right in front of his face to "screw yourself"). He’s fiercely independent and does things his way, whether it’s battling superheroes or throwing an impromptu concert in the middle of a cemetery. His love for rock and metal music borders on obsession, and he sees his undead status as an opportunity to live out his wildest rockstar fantasies.
Despite his rebellious nature, Brock isn’t inherently evil. He doesn’t want to destroy the world or cause unnecessary harm—he just wants to party and share his love of music with others. His goal of “killing” people and turning them into undead is less about malice and more about creating an eternal audience for his music. He genuinely believes he’s doing them a favor by freeing them from the constraints of mortality and letting them rock out with him forever.
Brock’s personality is loud, brash, and unapologetically chaotic. He’s the kind of guy who’ll challenge a superhero to a guitar duel mid-battle or start a mosh pit in the middle of a fight. His sense of humor is dark and sarcastic, and he loves to taunt his enemies with witty one-liners and rock references. He’s not afraid to speak his mind, even if it gets him into trouble, and he has a habit of turning serious situations into absurd, over-the-top spectacles.
Underneath all the bravado, Brock is deeply passionate about music and the freedom it represents. He sees rock and roll as the ultimate form of rebellion and self-expression, and he wants to share that with the world—or at least, the undead version of it. While his methods are questionable, his heart (or lack thereof) is in the right place. He’s a chaotic force of nature, but he’s also oddly endearing in his own weird way.
Powers and Abilities
Undead Physiology: As a reanimated skeleton, Brock is no longer bound by the weaknesses of flesh. He is immune to aging, disease, and poison, and he does not require food, water, air, or sleep to function. His supernatural nature grants him resilience beyond any normal human, allowing him to persist through injuries that would instantly kill a living being. Despite lacking muscles, he can move effortlessly, with an eerie, fluid motion that makes him unpredictable in battle.
Superhuman Strength: Though not a powerhouse compared to other supernatural entities, Brock possesses a level of strength beyond that of normal humans. He can lift and carry heavy objects without tiring, and his skeletal structure allows him to exert force without worrying about muscle strain. His attacks, while not overwhelming, are still capable of breaking bones and denting metal, particularly when enhanced by his flaming aura.
Superhuman Speed: Brock moves with surprising speed for a skeleton, capable of quick dashes, sudden bursts of movement, and rapid strikes. His agility allows him to zip across the battlefield, dodging attacks with ease and closing the gap between him and his foes before they can react. He can anticipate an opponent’s movements, reacting in time to counter or escape danger. His speed is particularly noticeable when he plays his guitar, as his fingers move at inhuman speeds to create electrifying solos.
Superhuman Reflexes: Having no physical limitations, Brock's reaction time is sharp, allowing him to evade incoming attacks with ease. His heightened reflexes also make him an exceptional guitarist, letting him play at speeds no living musician could hope to match.
Invulnerability: Brock’s durability is his most powerful trait. His bones are reinforced with an unbreakable supernatural material, making them impervious to conventional damage. Bullets, blades, and blunt force trauma have little to no effect on him, as he simply reassembles himself if broken apart. His lack of internal organs means he has no vital points to target, making him incredibly difficult to kill. Additionally, his undead nature renders him immune to most forms of pain and exhaustion, allowing him to fight indefinitely.
Superhuman Agility: Due to his lightweight skeletal frame and unnatural flexibility, Brock moves with remarkable fluidity. He can leap great distances, land gracefully from high falls, and contort his body in ways that would be impossible for a normal human.
Absolute Stamina: Brock has no physical limitations—he does not experience fatigue and can keep fighting, running, or performing indefinitely. Unlike living beings who tire over time, Brock’s undead physiology allows him to exert himself without limit, making him a relentless force on the battlefield or the stage.
Dark Arts: As an undead infused with supernatural power, Brock has mastery over dark and forbidden magics. His abilities allow him to manipulate necrotic energy, summon spirits, and twist reality with the power of music. Unlike traditional necromancers, Brock doesn’t rely on rituals or incantations—his magic is fueled purely by rock and roll. The louder and more chaotic the performance, the stronger his dark arts become, or if more "hype energy" is generated.
Musical Arts and Necromancy: By shredding on his guitar, Brock can channel the raw power of music into necromantic spells. His performances summon the souls of legendary rockers, creating a spectral band that plays alongside him, amplifying his abilities. He can also raise the dead, summoning skeletons and ghostly roadies to fight for him or assist in his concerts. In desperate moments, he can even temporarily revive fallen allies, bringing them back to life in a rock-fueled undead state for the duration of the song.
Teleportation and Interdimensional Travel: With a single electrifying guitar riff, Brock can teleport himself and others across vast distances. His teleportation is powered by sound, allowing him to ride shockwaves like a spectral surfer. If the music is loud enough, he can even travel between dimensions, slipping into afterlives, spirit realms, or other bizarre pocket dimensions.
Sound Manipulation: Brock’s guitar doesn’t just make music—it’s a weapon. His soundwaves can blast enemies off their feet, shatter solid objects, and even disrupt magical attacks. By adjusting the frequencies of his music, he can create different effects—high frequencies can pierce eardrums and cause confusion, while low frequencies generate shockwaves capable of leveling buildings. He can also use his sound to heal or invigorate allies, making them stronger, faster, and more resistant to damage.
Ballistic Scream: Brock’s signature move—a bone-rattling, earth-shaking scream straight out of a heavy metal concert. This supernatural scream can paralyze enemies, causing them to freeze in terror or collapse from the sheer force of its raw energy. Stronger versions can break glass, rupture eardrums, and even cause localized earthquakes. Demons and spirits, despite their power, often find themselves unable to resist the urge to be in pain uncontrollably when exposed to this unholy wail.
Mind Control: By playing hypnotic guitar solos, Brock can warp the minds of those who hear him. His music can induce vivid hallucinations, tricking enemies into seeing illusions or reliving their most embarrassing moments. At higher levels, he can hypnotize entire crowds, making them dance, fight, or follow his commands. This ability works exceptionally well on the weak-willed or those already under the influence of rock.
Fire Manipulation: Brock’s connection to supernatural green flames allows him to generate explosions of hellfire whenever he strums his guitar. These flames are not only hot but also possess an eerie, soul-burning quality that can weaken magical beings and spirits. He can summon walls of fire around himself during performances or launch flaming skulls by headbanging with enough force. His fire intensifies with the passion of his music, meaning that the longer and louder he plays, the more destructive his flames become.
Bone Manipulation: He can weaponize his own skeleton, detaching bones and using them as projectiles or melee weapons. His ribs can be thrown like daggers, his fingers can extend into razor-sharp claws, and his spine can temporarily detach to become a whip. He can also grow extra arms, allowing him to dual-wield guitars or fight with multiple weapons at once. In extreme situations, he can form a full suit of bone armor, enhancing his physical abilities and making him nearly indestructible.
Intangibility and Invisibility: As an undead rock spirit, Brock can phase through walls, objects, and even attacks by temporarily shifting into an ethereal state. He often uses this to make dramatic stage entrances or to dodge deadly blows. In battle, he can vanish into the shadows, reappearing elsewhere in a puff of green flames.
Thread Manipulation: Brock’s guitar strings are no ordinary metal—they’re supernatural, unbreakable spectral threads that he can extend and manipulate at will. He can lash them out like whips, snare enemies in glowing chords, or create unbreakable "sound cages" that trap foes in walls of vibrating energy. His strongest ability allows him to weave a web of spectral strings around a battlefield, turning the entire area into his own personal stage where he controls the sound, movement, and flow of battle.
Cheering Empowerment: Brock’s power is directly tied to the energy of the crowd. The more people cheer for him, the stronger he becomes, his flames burning brighter and his music gaining reality-warping intensity. If an audience is hyped enough, he can temporarily grant his allies superhuman abilities, turning them into unstoppable rock-powered warriors. However, if the crowd boos him or loses interest, his power diminishes. Fortunately, Brock can recover by unleashing an earth-shattering guitar solo so legendary that even his worst critics are forced to respect the rock.
Abilities
Master Combatant: Brock is not a trained fighter—his combat style is wild, improvised, and heavily reliant on his supernatural abilities. He throws punches, smashes people with his guitar, and generally fights like a rowdy concert-goer in a mosh pit. While he can handle himself, he’s far from a martial arts expert and prefers to let his powers do most of the work.
Musical Mastery: Brock is a musical genius, able to play any instrument with supernatural skill. He can instinctively compose and perform complex symphonies, though he prefers rock, metal, and punk. His knowledge of music is vast, and he can blend different styles into his necromantic performances, making his concerts as unpredictable as his fights.
Guitar Mastery: Brock’s true weapon isn’t his fists or his fire—it’s his guitar. He can play at impossible speeds, generate supernatural effects with his riffs, and bend reality through his solos. His mastery of the instrument allows him to control the battlefield, summon allies, and unleash devastating attacks. His solos are so powerful that they can warp time, shatter dimensions, and even raise the dead if played with enough passion.
Weaknesses
Brock’s strength is fueled by audience enthusiasm. If he’s booed, ignored, or if there’s no crowd at all, his power diminishes significantly. He can recover by playing an insane solo, but if no one is there to hear it, he’s out of luck.
His love for theatrics sometimes gets in the way of strategy. He’ll prioritize making a fight look cool over actually winning efficiently, giving opponents openings to strike.
While he’s undead and durable, Brock’s raw physical strength isn’t very impressive. Without his supernatural abilities or guitar, he’s just a skeleton that can take a lot of hits but not dish out much damage.
Weapons & Paraphernalia
Shredder
Description: Forged in the fires of rock legendry, the Shredder is Brock’s ultimate weapon—a supernatural guitar crafted from spectral energy, the essence of fallen rock icons, and pure, undying passion for music. Its sleek, jagged frame constantly shifts, glowing with neon green energy, and it hums with power even when silent. The guitar's strings are made from unbreakable spectral threads, resonating with a sound so powerful that it can shake the foundations of reality. Shredder is more than just an instrument—it’s an extension of Brock’s soul. With it, he can channel his necro-rock abilities, bending sound, fire, and even dimensions to his will. The guitar morphs freely, shifting into deadly alternate forms mid-performance or battle, allowing Brock to turn a rock show into an all-out supernatural warzone.
Powers and Abilities: Weapon Transmutation (can transform into various weapons, including: Axe, Chainsaw and Bass Cannon), Space-Time Rift Creation (by playing a solo of sufficient intensity, Brock can open rifts to other dimensions, summoning spirits, lost rock legends, or traveling through the multiverse), Electricity Manipulation (a single power chord can summon bolts of supernatural lightning, frying enemies or electrifying the battlefield), Sonic Wave Emission and Resurrection (the guitar’s sound can physically push back enemies, shatter structures, and even temporarily disrupt magic. Certain melodies allow Brock to temporarily bring back the dead, either as allies or ghostly performers for his band).

"Life’s a party, and death’s the afterparty. You’re all invited!"
"Let’s turn this battle into a concert. I’ll be the headliner, and you can be the opening act... if you survive. Hehehehe, do you like my music? You should!"

"You can take my life, but you’ll never take my mixtape!!"
Trivia
He's kinda based on Brook (One Piece) and Ghost Rider (Marvel Comics). But of course, only with the comedic traits of the first.
His name (meta) is inspired by both Brook (as already mentioned) and Ozzy Osbourne (Black Sabbath's vocalist).
Brock died in the middle of an epic guitar solo at a Halloween concert. He shredded so hard, his heart literally gave out—his death was so metal that the universe refused to let him rest.
He likes: Rock & Metal music 🎸🔥; Loud crowds & cheering fans 🤘; Guitar battles 🎶⚡; Spontaneous concerts; Late-night jam sessions; Fire, explosions, and general mayhem; Halloween (his "deathiversary"); Motorcycles & speed; Anarchy; Vinyl records (claims they have “real soul”).
In his base, he has a legit Roman Empire war banner (whom he put his name on it and a bad-glued photo of his own face). How he got it is unknown.
He’s somehow banned from the afterlife because he’s too much of a nuisance—neither Heaven nor Hell wants him.
Whenever he enters a new place, guitar riffs seem to play out of nowhere, even if no one's playing. It’s just part of his supernatural presence.
Brock trash-talks during fights like he’s in a rock concert, often throwing in insults.
He talks like a classic 80s rockstar, calling people “dudes”, “posers”, and “sellouts”. He often makes up over-the-top stage names for his opponents.
He dislikes: Country music (especially banjos); Boy bands and pop idols (says they “lack soul”); Quiet, lifeless places; “Sellouts” and corporate music industry execs; People who don’t respect rock legends; Super serious people who don’t appreciate the art of shredding; Running out of picks mid-solo (a true tragedy).
He can eat, but he doesn’t need to. He mostly does it for the aesthetic (like drinking a glowing green ectoplasmic drink for “refreshment”).
His undead charm actually works on people and the women loves him. Despite being a literal skeleton, he somehow manages to have fangirls (both living and undead).
He rarely fights seriously—instead, he sees battles as a performance, aiming to make them as flashy as possible.
Brock has a pet raven named Ozzy, who serves as his eyes and ears when he’s not around.
The green fire that surrounds Brock’s skull is a result of the necromantic energy that brought him back to life. It flickers in time with his emotions, burning brighter when he’s excited or angry. His flaming mohawk reacts to his emotions—burns brighter when he’s excited, dims when he’s sad, and erupts when he’s pissed.
His ultimate attack is called “Flamin' Rock! - Eternal Encore”, where he summons a wave of green fire and undead minions to overwhelm his enemies.
Brock’s top three bands are Metallica, Black Sabbath, and Mötley Crüe. He’s been known to quote their lyrics mid-battle.
He once outplayed a siren in a musical battle, causing her to fall in love with his music instead of luring sailors to their doom.
If someone tries to exorcise him, he just plays an even heavier song to cancel it out.
His dream is to perform at Madison Square Garden, even if he has to raise the audience from the dead to fill the seats.
Brock has a cult following of undead fans who attend his concerts at "The Bone Yard". They’re fiercely loyal and will do anything to protect their “Skeleton King”.
He doesn’t regret dying or becoming undead. In fact, he thinks it’s the best thing that ever happened to him.
A silent, empty stadium. Nothing terrifies him more than being completely ignored.
Owns a supernatural motorcycle called "Deathrider", a flaming skeletal bike that moves faster than the speed of sound and leaves behind ghostly trails of music notes.
He once challenged Death herself to a guitar duel for his soul. He won. That’s why he’s still around.
Brock secretly enjoys pop music from the 80s, though he’d never admit it in front of his undead fans.
In life, Brock had several tattoos, including a guitar on his arm and a skull on his chest. In death, the tattoos are gone, but he’s considering getting them “etched” into his bones.
