Identity Creation

I’ve recently came up with this idea through thinking of this idea for a hero character I came up with for HHA known as Homerun it was basically a teen boy baseball player with the ability of heat transference. There’s bit more to it but’s unimportant right now the basic just is that he would concentrate heat into baseball and knock them towards opponents a few seconds before they bursted into flames(yes I realize that’s probably not how that works you can get away with a lot because of comic book logic but not the point). Basically it got me thinking one aspect that’s under explored in my opinion when talking about worlds where everyday people got super powers and became either villains or heroes or whatever of the sort is how their personalities, desires, skills, careers and aspects of civilian life would bleed into their hero identity.

Give me a normal human character could be any gender, age or time period with any Career and then I will give you a costum power I believe would be interesting for that particular character then you tell me their hero name fighting style and costume

The reality twist is some magical cosmic force that arrived upon earth one day. Nobody knew where it came from as it glazed over the earth. It changed the lives and identities of many different individuals making them completely different people body and mind only after a year would they remember whom they once were people who went through this change are called new slates and who they were before they changed are called pre slates new slates all have a unique supernatural power called whims which are based of their pre slate's desires a new slate transformation can artificially induced a blood transfusion with on.

While the personalities and form of a new slate can very as wildly from the pre slate such as a down on his luck old man becoming a rich spoiled teenager they do keep some of their old interests and do maintain similar relationship to those the preset knew. Their identity is usually of whom they were before or an altered version of whom they aspired to be. The whim's will usually be made to obtain something the pre slate wanted

example: the old man from earlier was having financial trouble and wanted to support his grand children now as a new slate she has the whim: **pot of gold**: which lets her summon of the most valuable objects in her current country or a little meek boy who wished he could be a superhero and ended turning into a biker chick with a blue fire whim another example is a typical karen who wished people could respect her and was tranformed into a kind black woman with the whim: divine dance: when she dances her skin glows and anyone who see her starts thinking she is an actual goddess of dancing.

What is your new slate identity what is your whim what does it do what does your new slate do for a year what's your reaction upon regaining your memories and how does your life change

You were going about your day when you saw a door with a picture of the omnitrix symbol from Ben 10 when you try to open the door you blackout and wake up in the clothes of Ben 10(the original series version) in the same crater Ben originally found the omnitrix with memories of all the experiences he had up to that point though you still have your original body and memories when you look your arm you notice you have a the omnitrix however this version is different from the canon one. The parts of this omnitrix that were green in the original are neon purple and whenever you transform into an alien instead just being as that alien species you will have randomized gender age(youngest: 10 oldest:40) and set of skills alongside that aliens power and form and when you time out instead of just changing back you will instead split into two beings your normal self with omnitrix and and the alien you were transformed into. the alien will have the same gender age and skills you had as them and a personality and identity based of what you did as that alien this can happen multiple times with the same alien. Then the door appears morphs into a green skinned version teen Gwen and tells you have to experience the entire franchise before you can go home but you you go home you will keep this version of the omnitrix after that Gwen appears before you and act like you were been a few seconds ago but then you change into your current and drags you to the rust bucket where the experience the events of the after the heatblast scene

So what do you do how do you react what would you say and and how do you effect the story also how do you believe your first transformation would go and how is the story changed by you and this different omnitrix(you cant use alien x to escape or upgrade to alter your omnitrix)

So I got this idea from a monster species I created for someone on the post I made and Decided it was interesting enough to explore as its own challenge

you have just woken to found out you have been turned into a beyondclaw: a large humanoid creature with features of both genders with glowing claws and access to a pocket dimension that allows you to develop any skills into supernatural godlike levels powers: If bring an object related to a specific skill (a microphone for singing a punching bag for fitness a gun for marksman or maybe even something like a baby bottle for parenting) you will become better at skill and the training ground will shift to that skill(changing into a gym for fitness or a nursery for parenting) and you will supernaturally skilled in that area and even your form will begin change to match the skill and you'll gain supernatural abilities based of that skill theses can very in shape age gender and clothe(a motherly nanny with ability heal the wounds of children or give them peak human abilities for parenting or a muscular athlete with supernatural condition) once obtaining them you can change back and to the form at will weakness; if you spend more than 4 hours in one of the alternate forms they will temporarily overwrite your identity the form you will believe that form is what you've always been and have a personality to match that form for a week before immediately remembering then after the first week has ended you will gain access to that form and time limit until the overwrite and will be increased by 2 months though you don't about this) you cant get reality altering and these weakness cant be removed

Reply with a skill or two and an object or two relating to said skill/skills and I have to come up with a form and some powers based of that skill along with what the training grounds look like and then you tell what identity you get after your first one gets temporarily overwritten(their personality name what they say immediately after they overwrite your personality and what they do) how do you react upon returning to normal and what do you do

Your in world where a recent event happened that caused people to gain superpowers based on the main aspects of their personality people who have powers are sent to a school to become superheroes you have been sent to this school and the time has come for you to make hero identity

Tell me the main aspect of your personality like the kind of thing you’re known for and I have to come up with an ability that matches you and then you tell how you would make a costume based of your power and a hero name(or if you had replied to the previous hero awakening school then you can use the powers you got from there)
