In the spirit of Halloween, and some members are posting fictional entries, I will share the most recent journal entry of my OC, Morazzley. This end of his Terror Tour Arch, a series of entries on how he obtains scary, demonic, or Halloween-oriented powers. This is fanfiction (And not the kind that most people think about typically). So, this is a fun, maybe scary tale of his trip to the world of Bloodborne. Enjoy and count how many times I say "Blood."

Entry # 32

I...I have been through a lot in one night...It all started when I teleported into the City of Yharnam. I felt an intense amount of supernatural powers and got some details from some of the more...hospitable locals. They had this miracle blood that cures what ails you. I decided to get a blood transfusion. Told them it was for my constant nausea (especially since I got my Qwaser power a while back). I signed the contract and soon received their wonder blood. I dozed off and heard the roar of a big cat. I opened my eyes and saw it. The beast was huge. A ferocious feline with bloody paws and it was on the ceiling, looking down on me. I was still strapped down to the bed as it leaped on top of me. The cat opened its jaws, and before I was chow, its vines ensnared it. The monster tried to break free but got dragged into the darkness instead. Then I really woke up this time, and I was in a burlap sack. I emerged and was on a beach next to a jungle with my old clothes missing. They were replaced with a garish outfit. I couldn't find Chay anywhere. I tried to shift to a different power, but I couldn't. I woke up from a dream and into a nightmare.

I walked around, and up ahead was the beast from my dream. It didn't notice me yet, so I sneaked almost past it. Then I heard a man whistling at me before the beast, and I got riddled with bullets from nowhere. The man I came to once again and found myself in a workshop. A man in a wheelchair greeted me and said his name was Gehrman. He said that this place is called the Hunter's Dream, and if I want to return to Yharnam, I have to find the being responsible for putting me on the island. I reluctantly agreed since my cloak was my only means of escaping this world. He gave a gun, a few knives, and a "Threaded Cane." Gehrman wished me luck and said I could use the doll outside. I was not the sort to be into dolls, and it turned out to be life-sized and alive. I thought I had indeed gone mad...

I returned to the island and ran up to the beast with my snake sword cane thing and gave that thing the lashing of its life. The blood it spilled invigorated me. The cat monster was slain, but it was a small fish in the cosmic-sized pond that I stepped into. I believed that I was in the bloody good Scooby-Doo movie. Soon the enemies faced were more complex than just snarly fat cats. The other beasts were also cat-like in appearance. They were:

Cruz, The Amorphous Stalker: She had been a thorn at my side since I stepped foot into the jungle. She might act all cute with her catgirl routine, but when you least expect it, she will morph into a grotesque shape-shifting blob with fangs, teeth, and blood. I started to get the flow of the combat here and managed to scare her off.

The Vanquished Hole: It is what it is. A hole where the dead could be found placed in a mass grave, but the place was more lively thanks to the supernatural blood in all that resides in it. Everyone was invited to join in, rather they wanted to or not. The thing spewed out corpses to try to drag me in. With some bullets and platforming inside it, I found the source of this gut-wrenching gorge, another corpse...I put a hole a Vanquished Hole in its head and was done with that.

Damocles, Leader of the Pride: The big daddy of all the other werecats there. He was three times the size, three times as fast, and had three times the bloodthirst. I was sure after 10 attempts, I was never going to pass him. Then I found glowing letters on the ground and remembered what the doll gave me, a bell to get some assistance. After a Ding-Ding, the bell tolled for King Puss in Boots.

Cruz, The Amorphous Purser: That is right. She came back and, with an even more powerful move sets and transformations. After knocking her down a few times, she changed into other enemies I faced. This means I have to change tactics or get different gear to deal with her new forms. Eventually, I got her cornered, and she spat blood in my face and scampered.

Mad Beast Poacher Arnold: This was the man who shot me when I got to this island. A big-game hunter who came to this place because of the exotic wildlife but finding a "hunter" like me was a much more tempting prey to hunt. Our battle was what you expect from a long-range fighter with traps littered around the area, frustrating. But up close,...

Arnold, The Poaching Mad Beast: ...He was even worse. He was like Damocles, only with a rifle and the ability to shoot blood-red lightning. I only won by making him shoot down some trees and make them pinned him down to lay down the smackdown on him.

Cruz and Morgue Breath: Aiyyyyyyaaaaa! Why?! Why did she come back? Oh, and she brought a friend this time, Morgue Breath, a giant man-eating water buffalo. Dealing with Cruz's speed and shape-shifting was a problem already, but Morgue Breath has pure brute force. It is the perfect combination. I had to tap into my own bestial strength just to cause some damage, but the more I use this feral power, the more insane I get. The last fights I have been through have driven near the deep in, but this...this was absolute bull************! I just gave in to the madness and went wild on the poor bison. When Morgue Breath was down, Cruz swooped in and fed on him to bulk herself up and grew horns. I was almost too far gone to care and beat her crazily. She had to retreat, and before I could get to her, vines grabbed me and dragged me away. I broke free and fell into a pond. The water helped me regain my senses, but I was still pissed.

Blood Hoarding Pitcher: I found the source of the living vines in this jungle. They were all connected to a bloated vampiric pitcher plant. It spat out its last meal. The corpse was dehydrated, and the vines had me at their sights. I could get too close without ending up going down its gullet. I had to shoot the rocks near it to start a fire. Once engulfed in flames, I could go in for the kill, and with its demise, I could finally nap without fear of being dragged across the ground.

Gentlemen Roy: I thought he was a decent chap. He was only here on this island to save her daughter, but it turned out that he only wanted to do that for her blood. After drinking her blood, He became a super-duper dandy. He had insane speed, a cane with stored explosive chemicals for nasty hits and taunts that would make a schoolyard bully idolize him. The only way I beat him was to show him a locket with my daughter's picture in it, which caused him to recoil in regret, and I grabbed his cane. Then I proceeded to beat him with it. The fact that each blow causes an explosion made each swing more satisfying.

Cruz, The Amorphous Chaos: Here we ******* go again. I think I hate cats, catgirls, and anything else associated with the creature because of this woman. She has pulled out all the stops this time. More forms, using weapons and screaming so loud that I am stunned constantly. I have died to her 17 times, and she keeps taunting me about it. After a while, I figured it out. I have to stun her by shooting her in the mouth as she is about to scream. Then beating her was easy peasy time for teasies. But before I could, she was evaporated by...

Life's Jester: ...this crazy entity. Its upper half was like a gorilla, the lower half like a salamander, and its head was a fountain of blood. Not only was it hard to look at, but this thing could warp reality itself by its mere presence. I did everything I could. I stabbed it, slashed it, exploded it, and even tapped into my inner eldritch beast, but this darn thing won't go down. I took a break and explored the island a bit, got the doll to make me stronger, and talked to Gehrman about it. Eventually, I found an old blood-covered notebook. It mentioned that the entity of this island will be vulnerable to those who show respect. I fought Life's Jester one more time, and then I tried something. I kneeled before it. The monstrosity bowed back...What? The thing's weakness was being polite to it...I don't care anymore. I just began ferociously thrashing it, and when it was about to fight back, I bowed, so it did the same. Finally, that atrocity fell and burst into ethereal dust.

I head back to a now more crispy Hunter's Dream. Apparently, my job here was complete, and Gehrman offered me the way out. I will die and forget everything. I said, "Do it." because I could take it anymore. The old man stood up from his wheelchair, took his scythe, and slashed right down the middle. I woke up with my old clothes and my beloved traveling companion, Chamberlain, comforting me. I bet you are wondering, "How do I still remember all of this?" The abilities I had in the Hunter's Dream are now part of my arsenal. The inner eldritch beast within that power told me everything, or should I say, showed me. I teleported out of there. I had enough of this place.
