Light Magic

There are many different types of heroes in the world with all sorts of abilities and powers, and the spirit of these two trainee's might just prove that experience doesn't always judge your skill in battle. Ramona; keyblade apprentice turned multiverse hero, and Esmer; Guardian 38c962 and Global hero Trainee.

It's magic versus tech folks, and these heroes would potentially never fight each other, but for this battle's purpose, we'll remove worldly restrictions and moral codes to keep both fighters in the mood.

Now without further ado, let's find out who wins...

*It's a bright day in a large city, although no people are in sight, except a green light flying in the sky like a comet. The figure looks to be searching for something.*

"Where is this source? It doesn't seem like normal energy..."

*The figure then spots a pink, long haired girl with a strange looking weapon, er, key on her hand. The figure in the sky looks worried, and flies down to her fast. The figure stands in front of the girl fast, catching her off guard surprising her.*

"Oh! Um...do you need anything?"

"I am Esmer, Guardian 38c962 of this city. You have the possession of a supernatural item in your hand and is labeled a threat, please come with me."

*The pink haired girl backs off, but also introduces herself*

"My name is Ramona, I'm a-well I can't really tell you..."

"If that is the case then you'll need to come with me please."

*Esmer tries to grab her but Ramona jumps back. Ramona then draws her keyblade.*

"Sorry!"

*Ramona conjures ice magic freezing Esmer's feet solid. Ramona dashes away, and surrounds herself in pink and turquoise aura to jump up buildings and escape. Esmer simply breaks herself from the ice and looks up.*

"Attack on a Guardian is a crime, you are under arrest."

*Esmer flies at super speeds to Ramona, who is now up the roof. She notices a gust of wind behind her and she looks in surprise to see the Guardian. Esmer generates a green energy from her hand and shoots at Ramona. She ricochet's the blast that Esmer simply knocks aside, and dashes at Ramona fast. Esmer attempts to strike Ramona but she blocks the attack on time with her keyblade, but is forced back by Esmer's strength. Both Ramona and Esmer look at each other's weapon and suit. Esmer talks first.*

"Unidentified weapon. Supernatural in design. Unable to copy."

"Huh?"

*Esmer grabs the keyblade and throws it and Ramona off the building. Ramona crashes into the building next to the one she was on, but manages to wall jump downwards to save her landing*

"Whew! That was close!"

*While she recovers, Esmer flies from the building and goes down to Ramona, who then runs away in response. Esmer attempts to punch Ramona, but is hit by the keyblade into the wall, causing cracks. Ramona is now on the streets, and looks to see that Esmer is not that harmed, to her surprise.*

"Woah...you're much stronger than I thought..."

*Esmer get's off the wall and brushes off debris*

"Of course, I'm not fully human."

*Esmer's eyes glow green, seen through the helmet, and flies to Ramona, now shooting energy bolts. Ramona hits them all but is struck by Esmer's followed up punch and is sent flying forward. Ramona felt that, but manages to keep her footing.*

"...Well, if you're not human, then I don't have to hold back."

*Ramona channels her magic through her keyblade, and transforms it to Heart and Mind(Steven Universe keyblade). Her keyblade looks pink and is shaped different, but it transforms again into a pink shield.*

"Let's see!"

*Esmer has none of it, and continues shooting bolts of energy at Ramona, but her shield defends against all of them. Esmer then splits off parts of her body that turn into drones that fire at Ramona, who is surprised but still blocks them.*

/If she's not human then.../

*Ramona looks at the drones, and realizes what to do*

"Thunder!"

*Esmer is struck by lightning, who now feels the damage due to her physiology being techno-organic. Ramona sees an opening and surrounds Esmer in a pink bubble dome, but also notices she's in a green field of energy.*

"A field?"

*Both fighters attempt to break free, but it looks like Esmer is able to muster strength to damage the dome with Ramona struggling. Ramona get's another idea, and turns her keyblade into Codon Stream(Ben 10 keyblade). Ramona summons what looks like a construct of a towering alien the size of a skyscraper, it's a To'Kustar. Esmer notices, and the construct kicks the bubble dome away, with Esmer in it. Ramona breaks free from the green field to see Esmer kicked far away, but doesn't notice a drone flies behind her and strikes her from behind, carrying her away to Esmer's direction. Esmer breaks free from the dome, and sees Ramona flying to her because of their drone carrying her. Ramona doesn't try to break free yet due to being high off the ground, but sees Esmer charging a stronger energy attack.*

"I am also sorry."

*Esmer strikes the stronger blast at Ramona, who decides to summon her shield again and surround herself in a pink bubble before the attack hits. The bubble nearly breaks, until Ramona summons her base keyblade and channels light magic. Ramona shoots the magic just in time to protect against the attack, and both Ramona and Esmer get close with their energies colliding, causing an explosion that can be seen from the sky.*

"..."

"..."

*When the energy clears, both Esmer and Ramona are falling from the sky, but they both manage to recover, with Esmer rebuilding and Ramona using healing magic on herself. They stare down at each other for a second, until Esmer summons more drones to surround each other, but this has a different result.*

"Let's end this Esmer!"

"We shall, Ramona!"

Esmer and some of the drones fire at Ramona, but Ramona surrounds herself in her aura again and dashes at each of the drones to catch footing and evading blasts. Esmer keeps shooting, until noticing that Ramona is on top of the last drone above, with Ramona jumping off and channeling magic once more.*

"!"

*Esmer realizes the situation and attempts to surround Ramona in a field again that slowly starts to shrink around her. Ramona continues concentrating her magic and attention, but also her heart. Before the field can crush Ramona, she cast's a stronger light beam that breaks through the field and aims at Esmer. Esmer can only look in shock, but closes their eyes in acceptance while being vaporized by the light completely. The light can also be seen from the sky, but it falls down slowly. The light goes to a building, but instead Ramona jumps from it and lands on the building roof, with the light disappearing behind her. She looks to see Esmer is gone, and collapses from exhaustion, smiling for a well earned rest.*

"That was tough!"

K.O!

Looks like Esmer's time in the spotlight was over in a flash-of light!

The winner is Ramona!
