Madness Aspect Manifestation

Hey guys, I got a question, what would happen if someone with a mental condition had superpowers? Like what if a schizophrenic person had reality warping, an autistic had supernatural speed or a depressed person had emotional manifestation. How would it affect the use of their powers? would it change their capabilities? How dangerous will they be? What do you think they would do with their superpowers.

Note: I am not trying to make fun of or undermine the pain of mental condition or illnesses. This is just a question out of curiosity and I am extremely aware of the struggles people with these conditions go through and don’t want to make them seem less human because of it.

You’ve reached your breaking point…

How long had it been since you gain your abilities, weeks? months? years? Decades?! Centuries?!! You were so excited to ascend human limit and do things no one else can do, but soon you found that it was a curse. You tested out your power and abilities in an open field all day, you decide to hit the sack and go to bed, but that’s when THEY started to appear. At first they shown themselves at the corner of your eye, fleeing one you’ve seen them, but soon they begin to make themselves known. The nightmarish entities begin to haunt your dreams, giving you horrifying visions until you wake up. They tell you that the powers were theirs to begin with and they don’t take kindly to them being stolen.

Soon they start to affect your waking life as well, they appeared as hallucinations at first, but then began to appear more vivid…more physical. You try to use your abilities to make them disappear, to silence them, to make them just leave you alone, but nothing happens, their still there, tormenting you endlessly until they had enough with mere psychological torture, rather they collectively decide to show you that their in control. They use your own powers against you as first your friends are killed with their body showing the effects of your powers, next it your family, all killed off in a matter of days, finally it anyone you have ever crossed paths with, even people you casually greeted in the streets. You try to end it all but these demons (as you’ve taken to calling them) prevent you from dying, keeping you alive to watch you suffer.

Now your here, in a cave alone and scared, hearing the echos of laughter throughout the cave and these demons mock you and beat and deform you with their abilities, forever a slave to the powers and abilities that you sought after for so long, in an eternal state of super-powered madness.
