Magnetism Manipulation

Which metal would be more powerful or effective when it is empowered by primordial force? I.e Primordial Metal Manipulation

Let's say that a character can create a Magnetic Field like the one we have on earth by causing motion of the electric charges present within the electricity they produce. Would that be Electricity Manipulation and Magnetism Manipulation or just electricity manipulation?

Come along with electrokinesis, realistically? For example, using it to control metals (magnokinesis).

So, from a scientific standpoint, what are some ways one could gain the ability to manipulate magnetic fields/objects, etc? I’m looking for a plausible origin story for a character.
