Monsterization

I just came up with a new for a series called "Hellsplinter", it's about a gang of killers-for-hire/paranormal investigators that hunt and kill a race of monsterous beings known as "Curselings", humans that were magically altered into monsters by very ancient and powerful curses that are based on their fears, desires, and emotions, all the while trying to uncover the mysteries of how and why people are turning into Curselings.

The main characters, the Gimmicks, a band of outcasts and oddballs who hunt these Curselings in their city of Haven, to make their jobs easy they're all "Cursed Human", a human that has became a Curseling, but still retained their traits, including their humanity, gaining strange powers.
