Today's character(s) is Saman.
---------------------------------------------
"Ha... ha... ha... mortals are just too bold... there's no immortality that can save you. There's no power that will help you... from the inevitable demise."
Saman, more commonly known as the Death, is an abstract/cosmic entity, embodiment of death and oblivion.
Name: Saman
Alias: Death; Grim Reaper; Oblivion; Samantha (by Hyper/human identity)
Gender: Agender (refered as Female)
Species: Abstract
Alignment: True Neutral
Age: Inapplicable
Birthday: Inapplicable
Height: Variable
Weight: Variable
Birthplace: The Void of Intercosmos, Betaverse
Occupation: Cosmic Entity; Embodiment of Death and Oblivion
Affilitation: The Author (superior); the Abstracts
Family: The Abstracts (siblings)
Appearance
Saman's main avatar is that of a woman with a unique, punk appearance. Her short and messy black hair frames her face in a tousled manner. Her most distinctive feature is her deep black eyes, which seem to hold a power that is both captivating and unnerving. Her skin is extremely pale, almost white, and seems to add to her otherworldly appearance.
Her "clothing and accessories" are just as striking. Her outfit is a torn, black-colored ensemble with a midriff and sleeveless design. Her clothing seems to be made of a combination of leather, denim, and other rough materials, which gives her a rebellious and tough image. She wears multiple piercings on her ears, nose, and lips, each one with a unique design. Her dark makeup and black nail polish complete her look, giving her a gothic edge that is both beautiful and intimidating.
Personality
Saman, the personification of Death and Oblivion, has a complex personality that goes beyond the traditional perceptions of her being a cruel or sinister entity. She is a true neutral in terms of moral alignment, which means she does not value good or evil, but rather what benefits her purpose. Saman loathes those who do not value life, as she sees life as something precious that should not be taken for granted. She understands the importance of balance in the universe, and her duty is to bring the souls of the dead to their respective afterlives.
Despite her role as Death itself, Saman is not an evil being. She understands that death is a natural part of life and that all living things must eventually pass on. However, she can be stern and unyielding when it comes to matters that could affect the entire omniverse. Saman is serious in her responsibilities, and she takes her role as a personification entity very seriously. She is not one to be trifled with, and those who cross her path must be wary of her immense power.
On the surface, any mortal would think of Saman as a punk girl, due to her easy-going and rebellious-like personality. She has a carefree and laid-back attitude, which can be surprising considering her role as Death. However, beneath her casual exterior lies a powerful entity that has the ability to bring entire civilizations to their knees. Her personality is a reflection of the fact that she is a being that exists beyond human comprehension, and she has come to understand the importance of living life to the fullest.
Powers and Abilities
Transcendent Cosmic Entity Physiology: Saman is a cosmic and abstract entity. A being of unfathomable power that surpass the strongest omni-humans, aliens, extra-dimensional beings and even cosmic entities. She is the embodiment of death and inevitable oblivion of all things. Other than possessing death-related abilities, she has all the other powers common to cosmic entities, such as absolute physical characteristics, limitless cosmic/reality warping powers, etc.
Death Embodiment: As stated by her existence and purpose, Saman is the personification of death and oblivion. She has complete and absolute power over any and all deadly forces and powers, being able to cause total death whenever and wherever she desires. And, as an Abstract, her power is infinitely superior to every being in the infinite layers of existence, being only matched by other Abstracts and can be only surpassed by TAN users and/or The Author himself.
Absolute Death Manipulation: Obviously, by her embodiment as death, Saman can create, shape and manipulate the death/cause of death of any/all things, including mortals, amortals, undetermined beings, eldritch horrors, inanimate objects, concepts/conceptual beings, phenomena, absolute energies, nonexistent beings, transcendent beings, formless/omnipresent entities, free/separated and/or even supreme beings. She can grant, remove, negate, reverse, prevent, cause/induce, change death and/or even end it. Anything/anyone that can be remotely or loosely defined as capable of death/dying can be manipulated and shaped by this power.
Absolute Death Inducement: She can cause absolute death to absolutely anyone or anything without any exceptions, including immortal and even "nigh-truly unkillable" beings without even the slightest effort. Since the death would be unavoidable and permanent, killing literally anything in existence she desires, whether it be a person, an object, a god, she is not impeded by any defense or obstacle when it comes to killing her targets. Anything that was killed through the use of this power cannot be resurrected.
Afterlife Manipulation: Any and all kinds of afterlives throughout the omniverse are all under Saman's control. She uses this ability mostly to transport the souls of the dead to their respective fates determined by her brother Destiny.
All Death-based powers and so on.
Meta Variable Manipulation: She can manipulate and alter any variables, including those nonphysical and more abnormal in nature. Allowing her influence and control beyond those that only exist in the physical realm. Examples of those in the more abnormal and nonphysical category includes, but not limited to: theoretical laws, philosophical ideas, and other notions of similar nature, to which users are allowed to enable/disable/modify/rewrite and in turn, can cause a tangible effect on reality in a potentially higher magnitude than just altering those of the physical existence.
Absolute Soul Manipulation: She's able to create, shape and manipulate the souls, spirits and ghosts of all aspects, of all places, realities, dimensions/realms, times, universes, etc., regardless of their location such as those in a higher dimension/plane, heaven, hell, or a metaphysical/conceptual one (i.e, a dream/dream world, an illustration, a complete void, in-between or outside fantasy and reality, an illogical/paradoxical world).
Oblivion Embodiment: Not only she embodies death, but also oblivion and ignorance, the lack of knowledge or awareness. She has abilities and traits that can distort or outright erase another's knowledge, memories, cognition, or even consciousness itself.
And all other common abilities to an Abstract, being them: Absolute Condition, Conceptual Manipulation (Saman possesses absolute control over the concepts of death and oblivion), Absolute Immortality (as an Abstract, she cannot die, as she isn't limited to such basic concept), Plot Manipulation (an Abstract's nature isn't limited to reality itself, but to the entire narrative as a whole, as Saman isn't necessarily an entity that represents death, but the inevitable death of a story), Higher-Dimensional Manipulation (as an Abstract, she can freely control higher-dimensional spaces as they were nothing), Higher-Dimensional Existence (obviously), Causality Manipulation (all of her actions has impact on existence), Subjective Reality, Reality Warping, Avatar Creation (she manifest herself in existence via different avatars), Nonexistent Physiology (at her true forms, she isn't limited to existence and nonexistence altogether), Duality Transcendence (easily transcends any and all binary concepts), Omni-Physics Manipulation (being absolutely above all kinds of things, Abstracts can freely control and rewrite all the physics to an absolute level), and others.
Weaknesses
Weapons and Paraphernalia
Scythe of Oblivion
Description: A very big scythe that has a dark handle, and a great circular blade. Between the handle and the blade, it has a human skull; representing that she is death itself. She just uses it for aesthetics, since it's abilities just come from her own. The scythe can kill anything, anyone, everything, and everyone. It can kill immortals, beings that transcends concepts, space and time, and many more. The supreme weapon to kill in all existence.
Quotes
"Yes, Ryan. You saved the omniverse and avoided the premature death of everything that can be defined as "living". Congratulations. But, the reason of why I'm talking with you... relax, you aren't dead. However, I'm here to warn you that, unless you want to lose your humanity, don't ever again use your Omega Form. You'll be one with the omniverse, permanently; essentially becoming an Abstract yourself. But knowing you, I'm sure you don't want that."
"Martin... oh yes, him. Well, let's say I don't care about him. Don't look at me with doubtful eyes, I'm aware that he suffers pretty much because I don't take him. But, this is what fate determined. I could kill him? Maybe. But as an Abstract, I must not interfer in the destinies defined to everyone. I could? Yes, but circumstances are circumstances. Since... there's no true freedom."
"Hahahaha, do my looks and personality is something completely unexpected? I don't understand why you humans likes to represent me as a *really* dark skeleton in a cloak, heh. But... let's say I don't dislike it! Maybe next time you encounter me I'll be in that form!"
Trivia
Saman is aware of Martin's absolute immortality, but she doesn't care and just let him live.
Her "gothic" appearance is inspired by how Death is represented in Marvel Comics and Sandman (DC Comics). In case you wanna see the similarities, here and here are the images (respectively).
She's the only Abstract that isn't constantly in the Void of Intercosmos (basically the abstract headquarters). This is due to her duty to fulfill; that is managing the death of infinite beings across the omniverse and bringing them to the afterlife and so on.
During sometime, Saman already assumed a human identity to live in Earth, with the name of "Samantha". The reason of why she lived among mortals during a time, it's because she wanted to personally talk with certain people that was indirectly defying their own deaths.
She hates those who takes the lives of others unnecessarily (since it makes her sister and embodiment of nature, Natalie, sad), but doesn't do anything about since it's the unfortunate destiny of the poor souls.
According to some rumors, Saman always gives special rewards to those who lived their own lives to its fullest.
