I see that a lot if people misunderstand how Omnipotence works and thus misinterpret sone aspects such as acquiring this power. So here I decided to make an entry about how Omnipotence truly works. If you don't agree with me, I will be grateful for your feedback.
So, let's start! In Omnipotence original page this power is defined as "supremely almighty and invincible." Let's analyze all three words.
1. Almightiness means its user (aka God) can do literally anything and there's nothing beyond Their might;
2. Invincibility means God cannot be beaten in any way, in any possible and impossible situation God is more powerful than anyone else;
3. Supreme refers this power cannot be perfected or overpowered and there's no force beyond it.
In my point of view, the only difference between a user of various superpowers and an apotent being is that users are induced the state of being able to do something beyond their normal limitations. I will call the capacity to have superpowers “the Force.” It seems to me that there are no multiple powers which grant different abilities, but instead there is one Force whose applications enable user to do super powerful feats. That means the Force is the state of being and its evolution and boundaries bring people to abilities.
Within this concept, Omnipotence is the absolutely supreme and unlimited state of Force. All people, fortunately, understand these features how Omnipotence is marked from all other powers. I see people misunderstand its variations a lot. So, let me explain.
Omnipotence is not an ability, this is the state of Force. Force is where all abilities are originated. So, upgrading the Force one is capable to enhance their powers as well. In this case, Omnipotence is absolutely supreme and unlimited state of Force. All its variations are the same state. The only difference is it is possible to describe what Omnipotence is in many ways. Through those various descriptions we stress different aspects of the same state. They are all equal, so there's no sense to ask which one is the strongest. They are all the same state if Force, remember this.
1. Metapotence is the simplest form. It just means God can do literally anything, and most importantly, despite how contradictional or illogical it is. It means the user can break any logic boundary which makes this variation the ultimate form of Logic Manipulation. So,
Metapotence is Omnipotence through Logic Manipulation.
2. Author Authority is my favourite variation because it explains how powerful Omnipotence and Omnilock really is. Imagine there is an author writing a novel. No matter what the writer will compose, nothing within Their novel can perfect the Author's power and nothing can affect Them. No matter how strong a character is, even with Complete Arsenal it cannot beat the Creator. So,
Author Authority is Omnipotence based on being the Creator of existence and its supreme ruler.
3. Absolute Will is really easy to understand. This variation means God can do anything through Their willpower. Like, They will something to happen, and it happens no matter what it is. Therefore,
Absolute Will is Omnipotence through willpower.
I hope you understand my point. All of the variations are the state which is Omnipotence, while we can describe it via different forms. I mean, there are a lot of non-omnipotent abilities which can range everything and be Omnipotence itself in absolutely supreme and unlimited level. How about some kind of Absolute Imaginafery? Mentifery is the ability to warp the reality through one's thoughts and imagination. If this ability was absolutely supreme and unlimited, it was a variation of Omnipotence. Here's one more instance: there's an ability to grant wishes, it's called Fulfillment Manifestation. If this ability turns absolutely supreme and unlimited, it turns to Absolute Wish, the state of Force to do anything via granting wishes.
So, you see that variations of Omnipotence is the same state which can be described through various descriptions. There might be endless such variations.
Moreover, there is even specialized variations of this power. So, what the heck these specialized variations (SV) are?! In order to answer this question, let's remind my absolute and relative supremacy concept.
What is the strongest combative ability? Basically, it's Meta Combat since it combines Absolute Combat and Logic Manipulation. Such user is endlessly skilled at any kind if combat and, most importantly, they can manipulate logic to do impossible feats through fighting, such as acquiring Omni-Negation. Despite this fascinating power, there is one even stronger which can destroy Meta Fighter in one snap. This is Omnipotence. So, here we see: Meta Combat is the supreme relative power, which means it's the pinnace characters may achieve. At this point, Omnipotence is supreme absolute power, meaning it's authority of the Author.
So, what is SV? In order to respond this question, what is the most powerful ability in Erasure? M, Nonexistence? One can say Omnipotence is stronger than anything, including even Nonexistence, but here is the trap! Nonexistence is Omnipotence specialized in Erasure! That means if God uses Omnipotence in full power to erase anything, this ability will be called Nonexistence.
So, we see. SV is Omnipotence combined with some other ability. For example, Omnificence is the ability to create anything, meaning it's a specialized variation of Omnipotence in Creation. Omnifarious is the ability to transform into any form, which is a SP of Omnipotence in Shapeshifting. Omniarch is the ability to rule everything, which is a SV of Omnipotence in Lordship... And so on...
