Last Time on Pokemon Typer

I have been told that those ruffians from before are causing trouble at the Castle of Chivalry. I hoped that this time, I would teach these guys a lesson that only Gnatdett could teach, but someone wearing armor on the upper half of his body with a cape had already dispatched them. And he was not alone. Akari and Lena were next to him.

Armor Guy: "Hahaha! Fair Citizens! These criminals will not harass you anymore. Thanks to... Daedalus, full-time Superhero!"

Lena: "Thank you, sir, and those powers of yours. You are a Typer like Akari."

Daedalus: "I am indeed, Miss."

Akari: "A superhero? Then surely you will help us with a crisis after this competition back in our home region."

Daedalus: "A crisis, you say. If people need my help, then you can count on me!"

Beckett (Walking towards the group): "Be careful when strangers ask you to go to another location."

Lena: "OH! Akari. Akari! AKARI!!! IT'S GNATDETT!"

Akari: "Yes, but we discussed this. It's Beckett...you know, the Bug Typer. We saw Gnatdett with his wings fly during The Champion's announcement."

Lena: "Right, right...Of course...But it is still GNATDEEETTT! Can you please sign my badge case?"

Beckett (Pulling a pen out of his vest): "S-sure."

Akari: "What are you doing here? Did your new master want to add more Typers to her collections?"

Beckett: "Nope. I came because I heard those meanies were causing trouble again. But luckily, this super-duper superhero saved the day. Yay!"

Akari: "I still owe you for what you did last time."

Daedalus: "Hold it! That thug's Drowzee poisoned you from before. You are playing tough, but you should rest and get an antidote. Let me handle this."

Akari: "But..."

Daedalus: "So, did you do any harm to these fine ladies?"

Beckett: "They are big meanies. They dragged me out of my home and tried to catch me in a Type Ball."

Lena: "I am still sorry about that. You were our first one. So, we got things out of hand by mistake. But you entrapped us in amber, and it took a long time to get out."

Daedalus: "She apologized. Maybe you should do the same."

Beckett (Coughing the mites out his throat): "I am not apologizing. They made me flee my home. They are lucky I did nothing else when I trapped them."

Daedalus: "Apologize."

Beckett: "No."

Daedalus wants to battle!

• Daedalus activated Ability Mode: Talon Out.

• Beckett activated Attack Mode: Threatening Wing = It's Super Effective!

Daedalus: "Ak! What was that? You're a Bug Type, and I am a Flying Type."

Beckett: "My attack is strong against flying types."

Daedalus: "That is very petty."

Beckett: "Read a Biology book. It is legit."

• Daedalus used Punch = 9 HP of Damage.

• Beckett used Slap = 5 HP of Damage.

• Daedalus used Punch = 8 HP of Damage.

• Beckett activated Ability Mode: Skin Crawl.

Daedalus: "Now it's my turn."

• Daedalus activated Attack Mode: Overtop = It's Super Effective!

• Beckett used Punch = 7 HP of Damage.

• Daedalus used Kick = 10 HP of Damage. Daedalus gets infested.

• Beckett used Slap = 4 HP of Damage.

• Daedalus takes 7 HP of Damage from Skin Crawl.

• Daedalus activated Status Mode: New Heights.

Beckett: "Whoa! Now the Flying Type is actually flying."

Daedalus: "On top of that, my speed is also increased.

Beckett: "You are already faster than me. You are just rubbing it in now."

• Beckett activated Attack Mode: Threatening Wing- Twineedle Variation = 10 and 12 HP of Damage. Daedalus is Poisoned.

• Daedalus takes 7 HP of Damage from Skin Crawl.

Daedalus: "This isn't good for our hero...but when he is almost down, HE RISES EVEN HIGHER!"

• Daedalus used Aeiral Punch= 16 HP of Damage.

Beckett: "Achie!"

Daedalus: "Like that? I have spent two months mastering the art of Aerial combat. And thanks to my ability, my fighting skill still gets a boost when fighting in the air."

Beckett: "But look at yourself. You almost pooped, and with mites and poison attacking you, too, you are going to drop. Maybe we should stop. I will apologize if you want."

Daedalus: "That...would be...nice. I concede then."

Daedalus Surrendered, Beckett Wins

Beckett: "I am really sorry for what I did before. I hope to see you at the end of the competition. Don't get poisoned along the way."

Lena: "Apology Accepted! Can I take a picture of you? Akari, take the shot."

Akari: "Sigh...yes, Mistress."

Lena: “Get in on this, Daedalus!”

Daedalus: “Sure thing.”

Akari: “Sigh…”

Flying Typer Daedalus, The Hi-Flying Hero Pokémon

One of the noblest Flying-Type Pokémon, Daedalus, will stop at nothing to defend those who can not protect themselves. With its mastery over the wind, This warrior will send his enemies up the air and let them fall to their defeat.

ModeDex

Ability Mode: Talon Out- Powers up Fire-type moves when the Pokémon's HP is low. (It's Blaze, Overgrow, etc.)

Attack Mode: Overtop- The user, Daedalus, blasts the target straight up and lets them hit the ground. The heavier the target, the greater the move's power.

Status Mode: New Heights- The user, Daedalus, enhances himself or an ally with wind power. The target levitates for three turns, and if they are flying type, they increase their speed by one stage.

Attack Mode: Threatening Wing- Twineedle

1. Attack twice. The target may be poisoned.

The Pokémon League finally began, and I greeted every trainer and spectator in my Gnatdett suit.

Beckett: "Dztehehehe! Hello, everybody! For those who just arrived, let me explain what this Pokémon League has in store for all participating. You must challenge Gym Leaders with up to three of your Pokémon in the various cities in Kalos and win at least four badges. The first four who get them and get past Victory Road will compete against each other and the Elite Four. Fun Fact, kids. Did you know you were supposed to win eight badges in the past? You may start whenever for those with a Pokémon Partner or Team. But those who haven't gotten a Pokémon or want to take the Safari, follow me to the transport vehicle heading to Arceus Terra. And Trainers, be sure to have your Trainer Licenses out."

Some people left to start their journey while stuck around to take pictures with me. I was enjoying myself before some punks came by and laughed.

Punk #1: "Haha! Look at all the babies hanging around some clown in a cheap costume."

Punk #2: "Pfff! What a joke. I bet that is not even the real Gnatdett. Why would an Elite Four Member be loser and snotnosed kids?"

Punk #3: "Haha!"

Beckett: "Actually..."

????: "Hey, Jerkfaces!"

Among the crowd around, a young woman stepped forward. She had an outfit that screamed Pokemon Trainer and a yellow sports cap with a brim shaped like a Pikachu tail.

????: "If you want to start trouble, jump in a pile of Voltorbs."

Punk #2: "Oh! We got ourselves a hero, boys?"

Punk #3: "And a cute one at that."

????: "Careful. I am a lot more than you can handle."

The Yellow Cap Girl started sparking like she was being electrocuted but was still okay. Could she be?"

Punk #1: "What the! Hey guys, I think she is a Typer."

Punk #3: "You mean like The Boss."

Punk #2: "We should take her out."

All three punks pulled their Pokéballs.

Beckett (Turning to the crowd around him): "Please step back, everybody. I would rather be doused with Pesticides if anything happened to you all."

I walked over to the Yellow Cap Girl and stood by her side.

Beckett: "May I participate in this battle?"

Yellow Cap Girl: "Oh, wow! I can't believe Gnatdett is here to fight with me. Does that mean you are the real one?"

Beckett: "I am the one and only. Plus, I would never let these hooligans gang up someone, even if they are a Typer like me."

Yellow Cap Girl: "Then it is true. The Elite Four are Typers."

Beckett: "Yep."

Yellow Cap Girl: "Oh my gosh! My name is Yaletha!"

Beckett: "Nice to meet you, Yaletha. Now, let's teach these meanies a lesson about respecting others."

Yaletha: "Yeah!"

The Punks want to battle!

• Punks sent out Drowzee, Chatot, and Graveler.

• Yaletha activated Ability Mode: Power Cord.

• Beckett activated Attack Mode:Threatening Wing- Fell StingerVariation on Chatot = It's Super Effective. Chatot fainted. Beckett's Attack stat is boosted drastically.

Punk #2: "No way! One hit from a Bug Move. How?"

Beckett: "Don't be so glum. Sometimes, things happen, but all that matters in the end is that you and your Pokémon can fight another day."

Punk #2: "I didn't ask you to lecture me!"

• Drowzee used Psybeam on Yathetha = 15 HP of Damage. Power Cord activates. Drowzee takes some damage.

Punk #1: "What in the world is that? The electricity traveled across Drowzee's Psybeam."

Punk #3: "Typers all have the powers of Pokemon with their own unique attacks and abilities. But don't worry, Graveler got this."

• Graveler used Bulldoze on Yaletha = It's Super Effective.

Yaletha: "Naaah!"

Beckett: "Yaletha! Are you okay?"

Yaletha: "F-fine...Listen. Can you take down Graveler for me? I am useless against Ground-Types."

Beckett: "Consider it done, friend. Here."

Yaletha: "What is this?"

Beckett (Eating a piece of candy): "Typer Candy. It restores your powers. Now take down that Drowzee."

Yaletha (Eating Typer Candy): "Right!"

• Yaletha activated Attack Mode: Zap Clash = Yaletha zips into the air.

Punk #1: "Where is she going?"

• Beckett activated Attack Mode: Threatening Wing- Attack Order Variation = It's a Critical Hit. Graveler Fainted.

• Drowzee used Poison Gas on Beckett = Becket is Poisoned.

• Beckett takes some damage.

• Yaletha used Zap Clash = 30 HP of Damage.

• Beckett used Punch = 5 HP of Damage.

• Drowzee used Poison Gas on Yaletha = It missed.

• Yaletha used Drop Kick = 6 HP of Damage. Drowzee fainted.

Beckett and Yaletha Win, The Punks Lose

Punk #1: "Let's get out of here, guys!"

All the punks ran off. I would go after them for being disruptive, but I have been poisoned.

Yaletha: "Gnatdett."

Beckett: "I should be...Cough...fine. I need to get an Antidote in town. You go and enjoy your day. I doubt that those jerks will bother you again. If they do, you can count on me or the other Elite Four to help."

Yaletha: "Okay. Thanks for helping and I hope you get well soon. I want to see you there when I get my four badges before anyone else."

I watched Yaletha leave before I went to get an Antidote before I could faint.

ModeDex:

Ability Mode: Power Cord- The user inflicts damage with electricity to the attacker with long-range moves. (It is Rough Skin but with special moves instead of physical ones. The idea is that special moves act as electrical cords that transfer the energy to the attacker.)

Attack Mode: Threatening Wing

1. Fell Stinger Variation: When the user knocks out a target with this move, the user's Attack stat is boosted drastically.

2. Attack Order Variation: This move has a heightened chance of landing a critical hit.

Attack Mode: Zap Clash- The user, Yaletha, zips up to the sky and then crashes down on her opponent on the next turn. This move may cause the foe to be paralyzed. The user will attack immediately in rain or thunderstorms. The target may get paralyzed (It is the Electric-type version of Dig, Bounce, or Fly.)
