What if a Dimensional Travel user was able to help people out using said power? And I don't mean in a fighting way, just helping them out with some tasks via using it. I mean, the multiverse IS infinite, so they could probably bring something from one universe to another to help someone out. Even more so if they had summoning, if they can't help them, just call in someone from one of the infinite universes that probably could.

Can't believe I found a mundane way to use one of the most coolest powers in fiction, haha.

I have this project called riftcity, based on noir detective films kinda, where Spencer Sewell (a Detective, vigilante and trans man), their friend Lewis Colt (a barcrawler and basically jax), childhood friend Brooke Claud (a kindhearted pacifist) and local police officer Cerelina "Robin" Wood (yes, robin is a girl) investigate crime, and deal with the looming threat of the mekakin (murderous robots, think murder drones except being stung makes you another mindless murder robot) and uncover the myths surrounding the vampiric Monsieur Daurichere (a king of darkness reborn as one of the three lords of the inhuman kind, after performing the vampirism ritual) and the eternal night sky over the city, called the "rift". Some people harness the power of the rift to create portals, gain immortality and stop aging, while others harness the faint light of the abyssal stars to freeze movement and bring hope.

The power to harness the rift is called "Dharkea Alignment", while the power to be a conduit of the stars is "Lyta alignment".

The streets are bustling with tourists, street food consisting of cheesy egg rolls and spicy potato snacks; there's a section of the city that's infested with crime and always raining; a tower that enthralls people so that they stay for years until they die; and even more. The local culture is heavily influenced by japanese, american, british, chinese, canadian and russian culture, as well as many others.

Dharka Alignment is a combination of Darkness Manipulation, Portal Creation and Nigh Absolute Immortality.

Layta Alignment is a combination of Light Manipulation, Puppet Mastery and Reliant Immortality.

The power of a psyker to put it lightly, varies from person to person.

Think Jojo's Stands plus the force plus Magic from DC and Marvel comics, yes its that crazy.

You can do things like make heads explode, alter someone's perception of reality, see the future, rip out a person's soul, summon daemons, banish daemons, turn people into daemons, turn your skin into iron, make someone's blood boil them inside out, cause earthquakes, shoot fire and lightning from your eyes, stop time, read minds.

Oh and tear open holes into the Warp, which is essentially creating a dimensional rift with your mind.

Basically, you can open a portal to Hell with said portal acting like a mini black hole.
