Personally I think they would eventually evolve into absolute invulnerability, but I’d like to hear your thoughts
My hypothesis is that a user of reactive adaptation would instantly gain absorption immunity to prevent their ability from being taken away. Thoughts?
I believe that we should rename Reactive Adaptation into Adaptivity and ground this ability, while Evolution should be called Reactive Evolution, why? Adaptability or Adaptation is simply adaptation, that is, concentration of all the resources of the organism to adapt to some conditions, for example, when there is a shortage of oxygen you automatically reduce its consumption. But with Reactive Evolution you develop your body, for example, in case of the same oxygen shortage you acquire the ability to do without it at all. That is, Reactive Evolution should bring global changes in the user's existence and is essentially responsible for the character's development in a forced manner. Adaptive Evolution aka Superior Adaptation should have been like this at some point... I realize this could be a simple concept switch and nothing much would change other than the description of powers and the redeployment of ability users, but it's a contradiction in terms in a sense.
