Summary: The OG Minecraft creepypasta transformed, amalgamated, and adapted to fit in with the rest of the AvM Shorts series, originally appearing as a bog-standard "kill the heroes" villain before resurrecting and coming back several years after his death, now showing up as a more mellowed teacher as opposed to anything really evil.

This may sound stupid but if you had
Could you create a clone of yourself and then reabsorb that clone to double your strength, and durability. Could it be a offshoot of
If for example, you suddenly have the ability to clone yourself and have a connection with it, fuse with anything, and the ability to travel to anywhere. You suddenly think of sending some of your clones to another reality so that when the clones grow powerful, you could fuse with it to grow more powerful without the risk of dying. After 1 year, you went to one of the clones you sent and discovered it obtain omnilock. Will you able to fuse with the clone or not?
What exactly is the difference between illusion projection and duplication casting? I know Loki defined it in his show but it's still confusing. His "duplicates" are holographic creations, same as his other illusions. What makes his duplicates different? Can they tangibly interact with the real world (ex. touch)?
What's your favorite Replication/Reproductive Power if you have one, that is.

*In the night of a cold, almost foggy setting in a quiet city with only the street lights to shine in the dark, there is a black haired figure walking in the streets until he turns in an alley way. While walking, a shadow of a nearby object turns out to be a strange, black ooze like substance disguising itself, and follows the young man, named Kaito. While the young man continues walking and comes face to face with a wall, he stops, and soon the black ooze forms itself, revealing to be Predator, who forms a contorted grin, and lunges at Kaito*
[Predator]"You're MINE!"
[Kaito]"...Hmph"
*Kaito doesn't turn but smirks, and shadowy arms sprout from behind him, catching the Predator in midair, to the monsters shock*
[Predator]"What?! Another hero?!"
[Kaito]"Hahaha...no.."
*The shadowy arms push Predator out of the alley way at full force and back into the streets, while Kaito merely walks out and stares down at his opponent. Predator roars at the shadow feaster and grows blades from its arms and swings at Kaito, only for them to pass through him once Kaito turns into a dark smog, and quickly moves behind Predator. He forms a shadow sword covered in dark flames and stabs Predator, causing it to burn in dark flames and screech in pain, until it begins to have contorted laughter.*
[Predator]"Hahahaha! Not Yet..."
*The monster then sprouts arms behind itself to attack Kaito up close, catching him and clawing at him, starting to do damage to the dark Cambion like being. Kaito slices Predator in a vertical slice with the shadow sword still in the monster, and afterwards teleporting through a shadow, while Predator reforms itself easily, and looks around*
[Predator]"Haaaahhh...Come out little child~, scared of the big bad monster are we?"
*The shadows and darkness from the area start to move around Predator without it noticing, and start to form shadowy spikes at the monster, stabbing it in multiple areas that would've killed anyone instantly, but Predator is still alive from the attack, although surprised. Kaito's voice echoes in the setting*
[Kaito]"You're not the only monster around...You're biggest mistake...was being near me..."
*That last part sounded much more sinister, and suddenly a mass of darkness appears near Predator, who escapes the severe impalement by contorting and reforming out, and growls at the mass. It tries swiping at the mass of darkness, but it does nothing, until another black sludge pool of shadowy darkness sprouts from the mass and pushes Predator several meters away, with the streets being covered in a black, shadowy mass of darkness. The mass slowly breaks down and forms different shadowy humanoids, and they all go to attack Predator.*
*While the figures go to attack, Predator growls before implanting his arms into the ground, causing it to shake and sprout geysers of black ooze in front of it, which then start to spawn other Predator clones to attack the shadow clones. It looks like a massacre of black ooze like blood everywhere, and while the Predator clones do hold their own, the shadow beings start to turn into black flames and burn down the clones. While the fight ensues, the main Predator turns to the tallest building behind it, and stretches its arms up to a ledge, and flings itself upwards and landing on footing.*
[Predator]"Heeeh..."
*The black flames start to grow bigger, burning away the Predator clones and move to the building that Predator is at, seemingly climbing upwards on the tall building like a shadowy swarm, making the tall building look like it's enflamed in darkness, but doesn't burn nor glow. Predator hisses at the darkness rising upwards, and breaks pieces of the building and throws large chunks of debris at the shadow mass, causing the darkness to somewhat dispel, but continues on relentlessly. While Predator continues throwing debris at the darkness, it doesn't notice its own shadow beginning to sprout a dark shadowy figure, revealed to be Kaito, who encases Predator in a dark void like sphere of darkness.*
[Kaito]"Now. You die..."
*In the void, Predator looks around in confusion, not knowing what is happening, until it begins to feel severely cold due to the absence of both light and heat, and is nothing but cold darkness. It tries to run, but seemingly it feels as if it's remained in the same spot, and tries to attack, but it's nothing. Predator roars, but can't even hear itself from the absence of sound. The void starts to feel like burning, and suddenly flames start to spread around it. This may seem like the end, but the twisted monster had another trick in store, and smiles creepily. While back on the building, Kaito looks at the void but begins to feel something painful in his chest, and grunts from severe pain. He looks at his chest, and realizes some of Predator's claws had black ooze, and start to eat away at Kaito from both the outside, and inside.*
[Kaito]"Damn freak!"
*This distracts him enough to momentarily weaken and dispel the void, the same opportunity Predator needed to escape the void and lunge at Kaito, grabbing him and causing both to fall from the tall building. Both tumble in the air and are continuing to fall, until Kaito has enough and turns into his demon form, and flies up and carries himself and Predator upwards past the tallest building.*
[Kaito]"Darkness Incarnate...is what I am...the emptiness of oblivion, will be your damn!"
[Predator]"HAAHAHAAHAHAHAH!"
*Predator sprouts wings from itself and flies away from the new Kaito, until both fly at each other and clash several times, with both clawing and attacking each other, neither are backing down, although Kaito does seem to be in pain. The demonic Kaito decides to end things quickly and flies to grab Predator, preparing to burn the monstrous entity again, but instead it contorts around Kaito's arms and body, eating away at him at a fast rate, causing both to fall and tumble once again. Before Kaito has a chance to react and turn to darkness, Predator grows a large, fanged mouth and bites down on part of Kaito's head, just before the two monsters finally land on the ground, causing a crater to form from the impact. While a dark smog appears around the two beings, it finally clears back to a killed Kaito, and a crouching Predator who stands and smiles sadistically, ready to dine in on a hard earned meal...*
[Predator]"Heeeehehehehe..."
K.O.!
Verdict:
...Well, that sure was chaotic...Now then, it was a very unique battle for both Predator and Kaito, who seemed to have counters for anything the either had, and some misunderstandings regarding their full capabilities. With Kaito's sheer versatility in his darkness, he was certainly more than a match for Predator, who's shapeshifting is also impressive, but nowhere near as flexible as Kaito being able to teleport, create dark elemental attacks, and other unique abilities that could've overwhelmed Predator...In some instances.
Predator may not have been as clear sighted as Kaito, but was still far more experienced, being at least a century old compared to the Shadow Feaster being a teenager, so keeping it off guard wasn't going to last. Even more so, just because Predator was insane didn't mean it was dumb by no means, as it still acts on instincts, knowing when to strike and ambush others, and keep itself preserved by forming clones of itself on the chance it was ever destroyed.
Kaito had a strong resistance to Predator's corruption ability thanks to mental protection and his own will power, but could still be hurt by basic attacks while being caught off guard by surprise attacks, a thing Predator is capable of doing after surviving in the world for such a long time and hunting others. While Predator couldn't corrupt Kaito, he at least couldn't have his energy drained by Kaito's darkness due to having a destroyed soul, and also thanks to its own malleable physiology to escape any ensnarement, and this was the biggest hurdle to cross over: Both Kaito and Predator where incredibly difficult to beat under normal circumstances due to Kaito being able to become semi-indestructible by becoming shadows and Predator having very specific weaknesses to extreme temperatures while otherwise being impossible to kill basically, so who could beat the other first?
Unfortunately for Kaito, his darkness wasn't completely flawless and unbeatable, as overuse can cause strain on himself and can only be used for a limited time, unlike Predator who was always in optimal condition. Just because Kaito did have means to put down one Predator, it still had the ability to clone itself seemingly without limit, and can use the time to tire Kaito out until the right opportunity could be found for an opening.
As for misconceptions, both Kaito and Predator demonstrated greater feats in different canon scenarios, where Predator launched an asteroid and could trade blows with the superhero Spectrum, while Kaito could cause blackouts in an academy and even remove color from the area around him to a large scale. For both cases, these required external factors, for Predator it was consuming a Hotel's worth of people and Kaito it was the available darkness around himself, so for both fighters to battle, they needed to be in neutral territory without add-ons to give the other the fighting chance, but ironically Predator would still fare well even if it was restricted to its base and if Kaito had the environmental advantage thanks to its regeneration and cloning, and only needed a few hits in before it could overwhelm the wielder of darkness.
These two monsters were incredible, and while Darkness Incarnate could have won in different scenarios, Predator had the right counters, abilities, experience, and deceptive cunning to catch its prey. Looks like the better hunter managed to leave his other in the dark!
The Winner is Predator!
