Miguel Navarro, aka The Shapeshifter, is a superhero and the chilean member of the World Security League.

Appearance

Miguel is an adult of a defined appearance and is even a little muscular. His skin is white, he has a messy black hair, black eyes with blue iris, and pointed ears (similar to elves). In his back, it also has a semi-flaky muscular tissue.

His superhero costume consists of a dark-grey full-body outfit made of a texture similar to carbon plates, without sleeves, and with dark-grey shoulder protectors. The outfit is actually made of Miguel's genetics, so he can shape its form and his transformations can be better and more reliable.

Personality

Miguel is a mysterious man, he hardly speaks, and when he speaks, his voice is extremely calm and thick. He rarely shows emotions, basically always having the same poker face. He is pessimistic and always worries about his missions, thinking that they will fail. Because of his pessimism, he doesn't have that many friends, being introverted and shy when speaking. He's also known for being someone who can be easily scared and frightened, and also has trusting problems, since he suffered bullying in childhood for his appearance. Being a hero, he tries to do everything to help others, even with his personality.

Despite his pessimistic and introverted personality, these sides are, sometimes, overshadowed by his great sense of justice. He believes that the world needs someone who knows what to do, but also knows how to do this "right". Someone who is rightful, yet good. His sense of justice always helps him in his hero work, always knowing the right thing to do, and more.

Powers and Abilities

Superhuman Physiology: Being the most powerful hero in Chile, and also a high-level superhuman, Miguel has a physiology with natural superhuman physical abilities. Miguel is an extremely skilled shapeshifter. He is capable of increasing or decreasing in size, changing shape down to the smallest details, being intangible, replicating, merging with others, etc. He is one of the members of the team who was born with powers, and did not received them through other means.

• Tactile Telekinesis: Miguel's main power (and overall one) is the capability of use a telekinetic power that surrounds his body, allowing him greater physical condition and also use the common capabilities of telekinesis through touch. This power also allows him high-speed flight and self-molecular control, and possibly matter reconstruction as well.

• Superhuman Strenght: Not only in overall power, but Miguel is also the strongest person in Chile, capable of lifting 345 thousand tons or even more without any worries. With this strength, he is able to destroy an entire building in one punch, harm durable beings, and match/overpower then. Miguel is considered the 6th strongest member of the WSL, although he could still match and hurt the ones at a higher-rank; for example, in a training, he could severely hurt Ms. Celeste because he wasn't being cautious with his power.

• Superhuman Speed: He can move, both running and flying, much faster than a normal human, reaching speeds 57x faster than sound, and even speeds faster than light while flying in space. While his strength is not as strong as the other members of the WSL, he is the 3rd fastest member, being able to keep up with speedsters several times and even go to light-years away in mere 1 minute.

• Superhuman Reflexes: With speed, Miguel also has exceptionally fast reflexes, being able to see fast moving beings and even anticipate attacks from other targets in advance.

• Superhuman Stamina: His stamina is supernaturally greater than that of normal humans because his abilities are leveraged beyond the natural level; making him immeasurably more lasting than normal beings.

• Invulnerability: Because of his body is very dense, he is capable of withstanding various types of damage, such as bullets, explosions, etc. He can even withstand loss of limbs and stabbings. Once in a mission to keep Earth's core stable, he could endure the intense heat of the core (despite being his weakness), and is also immune to cosmic radiations and overall physical pain. Miguel can use his shapeshifting capabilities to increase his durability to further levels, like, for example, redistribute kinetic energy over his body and/or augmenting his density.

• Superhuman Agility: He is supernaturally more agile than other humans, being able to combine balance, body coordination, speed, reflexes, strength and endurance better than normal beings.

• Enhanced Senses: Miguel's senses of sight, taste, hearing, touch and smell are supernaturally more acute than those of humans. He can see miles away with immense resolution, track things very fast for the natural eye, hear through dense walls perfectly, hear sweat falling from someone's face in another room, smell anything over vast distances up to and including molecules/atoms taste the smallest details to the point of distinguishing at the molecular level, and feel the slightest vibration in the air, soil and water.

• Flight: He is able to telekinetically control the movement of his own body, thus being able to levitate and propel himself at great speeds, allowing him to cover great distances in a matter of minutes.

• Self-Molecular Manipulation: Through his tactile telekinesis, Miguel has a great control over the molecular structure of his own body, allowing him to achieve several feats (such as shapeshifting, density control, intangibility, etc). He can also change the composition of his molecules, allowing even more complex forms that a common shapeshifter wouldn't be able to replicate.

• Shapeshifting: Having a molecular control of his own body, he can assume the form and characteristics of different types of subjects, such as: other people, animals, beings, monsters, insects, objects, vehicles, materials, etc. He can even change his genetic structure and temporarily gain the powers and properties of the beings he changes shape. With this power, he can also change his clothes (to more easily replicate someone's appearance), voice, size, gender, and even replicate the targets' memories and personality (while keeping his own). He is one of the most powerful and skilled shapeshifters on Earth or even in the universe.

• Size Manipulation: As he can change shape for virtually anything, he can also change size, ranging from atomic sizes to gigantic shapes, such as a building or even bigger things.

• Body Manipulation: Miguel has complete control over the anatomy and body of himself, including skin, nails, fat, muscles, blood, nerves, etc, allowing him to change and manipulate them freely. He can grow appendages and additional body parts, remove or manipulate bodies, at visible, chemical and cellular/subcellular levels.

• Regenerative Healing Factor: He can regenerate quickly through the rearrange of his molecules. He can recreate lost or damaged tissues, organs and limbs, sometimes slowing down or even stopping aging. Miguel is generally in good physical shape, as his body is constantly reverting to a healthy state, which gives him almost inexhaustible resistance and vitality.

• Elasticity: Miguel can become extremely malleable and elastic, allowing him to stretch, flatten, deform, expand and contract his entire body, including limbs, torso, neck, etc. He can control how elastic/flexible they or parts of him are, allowing him to transform his bodies into various tools or other constructions. He is extremely difficult to hurt or harm due to his body reflexively absorbing the damage when stretching with attacks.

• Malleable Anatomy: He can modify the physiological characteristics of himself and others, including face, body, skin, or size to disguise or look like someone else.

• Self-Density Manipulation: Miguel can manipulate the density of his own body, making it as light as a feather, or as heavy as a mountain.

• Intangibility: Decreasing his density, it can pass through physical matter, that is, it can pass through walls, solid matter, etc.

• Invisibility: By manipulating his own body, Miguel can make light pass through him, thus making him invisible. He managed to make sure that, with this power, not even thermal sensors, telepaths, etc, could detect him, literally becoming invisible and maybe even imperceptible.

• Bio-Fission: He can create replicates of himself to an indefinite degree. He can at any time create how much to absorb them back to him.

• Bio-Fusion: In addition to replicating itself, he an also merge with other beings and targets. Thus, he can merge with others to form one being, but not only other people, but also with animals, inorganic things (such as objects and vehicles), and more.

• Organic Constructs: Miguel can change the organic material of his own body into tools, objects, weapons, and other items, create semi-living constructs and/or create structures of varying permanence. He uses it mainly to create weapons to support in combat.

• Telekinesis: This power allows Miguel to levitate matter and objects, propel or manipulate them at will. He can rise and move through the air to simulate flight, stimulate individual molecules to create heat, generate concussive explosions and create protective shields. In the aforementioned mission of keeping Earth's core stable, he used his telekinetic abilities to accomplish that (showing that his powers are so great, that he could affect an entire planet easily). His overall psychic power is second only to Aether, but superior to Captain Molecular and Southern Sorceress.

• Heat Vision: Miguel can generate powerful heat beams from his eyes. These beams can burn and melt things, and he can control their temperature. These heat beams are telekinetic concussive beams, which Miguel can increase its temperature to become heat.

• Telepathy: Miguel can read/feel someone else's thoughts, communicate with them mentally or affect their minds/thoughts. Telepathy has two common skills or categories; Telepathic Communication, which is the ability to transmit information from one mind to another, and Telepathic Perception, which is the ability to receive information from another mind by knowing the movements and attacks of an opponent. His telepathic power is pretty strong, as that he nearly affected Aether's mind, although unsuccessful.

• Empathy: Miguel can fully interpret other people's emotions, moods and temperaments without reading any apparent symptoms, allowing him to understand introverts or discover that one emotion is actually hiding another. He can attack someone in a personal and emotional way, as he knows exactly what emotion is flowing through them and can use that knowledge to play against them. He can also learn to read emotional marks left in the environment or objects.

• Mental Manipulation: He can also control other individuals' minds through his great telepathic powers.

Abilities

• Master Combatant: He possesses proficiency, capabilities and knowledge regarding combat, adquired through several and intense traininings provided by the government to join the World Security League. These trainings bestowed abilities extend to all forms of combat, including melee combat, like martial arts and swordplay, or ranged combat like archery or shooting.

• Shapeshifting Combat: Miguel is able to utilize shapeshifting with his physical combat, changing his form for attack, defense, movement and distraction, forming weaponry from his body, etc.

• Weapon Proficiency: Having a great skill over combat and his powers, he can use the weapons and tools molded by his body in a very skilled way.

• Enhanced Intellect: He also acquired a great intellect through his life, being considered an exemplar student in every college/school he went. To join the league, Miguel also studied several types of subjects.

Weaknesses

• Vulnerability to extremely high temperatures (starts to be weakened by temperatures above 10,000 degrees celsius).

• His self-molecular control can be put in check by matter manipulators.

• Emotional peaks makes his molecular structure unstable.

• His psychic powers cannot be used while using Shapeshifting (and/or powers coming from the Self-Molecular Manipulation).

Trivia

• Miguel is a homage to Martian Manhunter, the martian superhero of DC Comics.

• He is often compared to Starbooster, due to having almost all the same powers and a few more, thus confusing Miguel being more powerful than Thomas, which isn't true, because Tom is generally stronger, faster and more durable than Mig.

• Miguel is the oldest member of the World Security League, in terms of age, despite looking like the youngest (he does that through his shapeshifting).

• His sexual orientation is unknown, as that he simply refuses to give any information about this area to others. As he will always respond the same thing to someone who asks his: "It is really important?".

• As a child, he feared that people would bully him because of his non-human appearance (elf ears, black eyes and semi-flaky muscular tissue on the back). Because of that, he always shapeshifted into a more "human" form to never be (possibly) bullied. However, during a day on school (when he was kinda 11 years old), he accidentally returned to his original form, which made people scared (and started to be more agressive to him) and that also made Miguel go to another school and be extremely cautious in regards to his appearance and shapeshifting powers, to this kind of thing never happen again.

• This fear would only change when he joined the WSL, which the members didn't bothered with his true appearance and accepted who he is. Because of that, he has a great consideration and trust over his friends.
