Appearance
Hou is a god of short stature compared to the rest of his fellows, and he has a muscular physique. He has a short messy brown hair, golden eyes, and a small beard.
His casual attire consists of black robes, a red scarf, messy black pants, and gold trimmings around his outfit to give it a more sophisticated tone. His robe is mostly opened up, revealing his abs.
Personality
Hou is presented as a fun, lazy, not too serious, freedom-loving fellow. This jokey behavior makes many people not see him as a god, and even do not believe when they say he is strong. As a highlight, he doesn't have much pride or even show vanity in his status as a god, considering himself to be just another being that is part of the universe. However, beneath his laid-back demeanor, there is more about him. Another fact is that his friendly attitude extends towards virtually any being he encounters. Hou almost always likes to start things off on a pleasant note, being respectful and appreciative, especially to his family, whom he loves and values very much.
When in combat or when facing an opponent who is cruel, without humility, and who threatens his family, Hou's personality undergoes a remarkable transformation. He becomes focused and ruthless, shedding his carefree nature. In these moments, he taps into a hidden power within him, becoming an unstoppable force. It is said that Hou doesn't underestimate his opponents, regardless of their strength, and he becomes a true monster on the battlefield.
Furthermore, Hou is not just a deity with a whimsical disposition; he is a passionate lover of martial arts and any form of combat. When engaged in training, whether for himself or others, he does not tolerate a lack of discipline. Hou is known to be determined and serious, instilling the values of hard work and dedication. Yet, he also recognizes the importance of rest and knows how to offer praise when a student deserves it.
However, it should be noted that Hou's love for martial arts is matched by his intense aversion to those who disrespect its principles. When confronted with individuals who undermine the sanctity of martial arts, Hou's temper easily flares, although he possesses the self-control to rein in his anger when necessary.
Powers and Abilities
Godly Physiology: Hou, the divine being, transcends the limitations of most creatures in the universe, possessing a physical, mental, and spiritual prowess that few can rival. As the god of combat and victory and the elder brother of Kaiser, he wields unparalleled martial art skills that are simply unmatched. Among the ranks of greater deities, alongside his brother Kaiser and sister-in-law Mera, Hou stands as one of the most potent gods, revered for his indomitable abilities.
Absolute Strength: Endowed with boundless physical might, Hou wields immense strength that allows him to accomplish feats that defy belief. He effortlessly surpasses the power of his nephews and rivals the strength of his younger brother. With a mere swing of his arm, he can rupture space-time, leaving even Ryusai, the god of strength, uncertain if he could outmatch Hou in a contest of might. Such is the overwhelming force Hou wields, solidifying his position as an unrivaled powerhouse.
Absolute Speed: Hou's speed defies the limits of measurement, enabling him to move, think, and react at immeasurable velocities. His ability to traverse the entire universe within an instant and surpass ordinary calculations places him beyond the constraints of time itself. Even the fleet-footed goddess Thamari cannot match his speed. In an epic duel with his brother Kaiser, they traversed the infinite multiverse with ease, their encounter spanning vast expanses of existence.
Absolute Reflexes: His phenomenal speed is complemented by equally extraordinary reflexes. Hou's razor-sharp reactions operate within the confines of plank time, allowing him to engage with beings of equal celerity.
Invulnerability: In addition to strength, Hou is gifted with durability described as being no less than absurd. His skin, muscles and atomic structure have density and solidity above normal even for the status of a god. In his normal he is resistant, if not immune to most conceivable attacks such as: heat, radiation, energy, physical force, pressure and magic. Such durability is such that he is able to withstand attacks from equally powerful beings, including his own family. He also does not require food, water, air, or sleep to survive. He can exist indefinitely without any external sustenance.
Superhuman Stamina: He can exert his body to continuous and exhausting exertion for periods of time that can surpass years, even when he is injured, and can go on for much longer if he so desires.
Superhuman Senses: Hou's senses are honed to superhuman levels, expertly employed in combat. His keen hearing allows him to detect invisible opponents, distinguishing even the faintest of sounds. His cosmic vision grants him the ability to perceive vast distances, identify illusions, and discern truth from falsehood.
Immortality: As a god, Hou is naturally blessed with immortality. He absolutely cannot die by conventional methods such as age and disease, and can survive injuries and conditions that would normally kill anyone. Furthermore, even if he is killed, he has the innate ability to be able to resurrect himself, but this is a process that can range from days to years depending on the right conditions according to legends.
Regenerative Healing Factor: Gods are capable of regenerating their bodies easily, including lost limbs and the like. However, this applies to only their physical bodies, since there's more than it seems. A god's soul exists at a higher-dimensional plane, so even if their bodies and/or their souls are outright erased, they are still capable of returning from the dead.
Combat Divinity: Hou embodies the very essence of combat, a divine entity representing battles, martial prowess, and fighting techniques. Unrivaled in attack and defense, he possesses a vast repertoire of combat forms, ranging from ancient martial arts to modern fighting styles. His divine prowess in combat leaves all challengers awestruck.
Ability Intuition/Replication: Hou possesses an extraordinary mind capable of processing combat-related information at an unparalleled speed. Witnessing, touching, or hearing any strike, weapon usage, or martial art allows him to perfectly replicate them with ease. His exceptional cognitive abilities extend to identifying weaknesses in fighting styles and effortlessly devising entirely novel techniques, pushing the boundaries of combat innovation.
Ability Indexing: Hou's prodigious memory ensures that no acquired skill ever escapes him. Even techniques utilized millennia ago remain etched in his mind, and he retains their full power regardless of the time passed or the lack of practice. His mastery over a myriad of skills remains unmatched.
Fighting Instinct: In the realm of instincts, Hou stands peerless even among gods. His reactions to threats are driven by an unparalleled fighting instinct that rapidly adapts to any opponent's ability. Fear, pain, and weaknesses that may emerge during combat do little to impede his relentless pursuit of victory.
Combat Specialism: A repository of knowledge in all forms of battle, Hou is not merely adept at teaching martial arts and defense techniques; he possesses an innate understanding of every type of power and how it can be honed for combat. His intuitive grasp of combat mechanics elevates his prowess to godlike levels.
Victory Divinity: As the god of victory, Hou wields dominion over the very essence of triumph. Within the confines of limited reality warping, he deftly skews the odds in his favor during confrontations, ensuring the factors leading to triumph are ever on his side. Conversely, elements that could lead to defeat are held at bay, earning him the illustrious title of a god who has never tasted defeat, boasting a history marked only by victories and draws.
Divine Magic: Being as a god, Hou has the innate ability to generate and manipulate magic. He is one of the most versatile and powerful gods in this regard, with only his brother Kaiser being able to rival him. Using his intuition, he is capable of learning and mastering almost any type of spell. The most used are the following below.
Biological Manipulation: Hou has the ability to use magic to not only modify himself, becoming invisible for example, but he can also change that of other beings; showing that he can induce stomach pains and deep sleep without much effort.
Shapeshifting: Hou can use his magic to alter his form as he sees fit, being able to shift from the appearance and physiology of a mere insect to giants, beasts, and virtually any type of being, altering his size as best he sees fit. In conjunction with his mastery of combat, he becomes a versatile and difficult opponent to face. Furthermore, using more magic, he is able to replicate the traits and powers of every being he has ever seen; having done so with magical beings, other superhumans, and even members of his own family.
Force-Field Generation: Hou has knowledge on how to create all kinds of force-fields to not only protect himself but his allies. He can create anything from simple shields, to developing force-fields against specific threats like anti-matter, electricity, and poison.
Self-Replication: He can replicate indefinitely and can produce thousands of clones with attack power almost equal to his own, being able to generate clones of virtually any part of his body, including strands of hair. He is also able to switch places with any clones he produces and share what they come up with for himself.
Soul Manipulation: As a god, he can manipulate the souls of others at an extent, such as controlling them, extracting them, or transferring them to different bodies.
Non-Physical Interaction: He can interact with non-physical entities, such as ghosts, spirits, or energy beings.
Interdimensional Travel: He can travel between different dimensions or planes of existence, such as the mortal realm, the afterlife, or other universes.
Abilities
Master Combatant: Hou, as the god of combat, epitomizes the epitome of martial prowess and fighting finesse. His combat skills are unmatched in the entire universe, rendering him an awe-inspiring force to behold. Every movement he makes is a dance of deadly precision and artistry, seamlessly weaving together offense and defense with unparalleled grace. His combat instincts are honed to perfection, allowing him to anticipate his opponent's moves even before they are conceived.
Martial Arts Mastery: Hou's expertise in martial arts surpasses the boundaries of earthly knowledge, extending to embrace all alien and interdimensional forms of combat. Within him resides the wisdom of over a hundred different martial styles, each a legacy of its own origin, artfully amalgamated into a seamless, fluid fighting form. His movements are a symphony of lethal precision, guided by the profound wisdom of ages. From the swift, flowing strikes of ancient Eastern disciplines to the fierce, unyielding techniques of extraterrestrial warriors, he wields the essence of each style with astonishing adaptability.
Weapon Proficiency: Not confined to hand-to-hand combat, Hou showcases extraordinary skill with any weapon he encounters. It is as if the weapon becomes an extension of his very being, melding with his essence in perfect harmony. His keen eyes can discern the hidden nuances and flaws of any weapon, allowing him to exploit its weaknesses with deadly precision. With each weapon he wields, he exhibits a profound respect for its artistry and legacy, infusing it with his own martial essence. From the elegant sweep of a katana to the savage efficiency of a battle axe, he commands each instrument of war with a mesmerizing display of mastery.
Staff Proficiency: Among all the divine beings, Hou stands unrivaled in his mastery of the staff. His proficiency extends beyond the staff itself to encompass similar weapons like spears and longswords, culminating in a display of matchless artistry in armed combat.
Pedagogy Mastery: Hou's expertise extends beyond his own combat prowess; he is a true master of pedagogy. Known for his exceptional teaching abilities, he employs effective and accelerated learning methods to nurture prodigious warriors. Among his many accomplishments, he played a pivotal role in training his nephews, molding them into formidable and capable fighters under his tutelage.
Omnilingualism: Hou, like the other gods, is gifted with the ability to read, speak, and write any language and method of speech in existence.
Accelerated Development: Gods possess an extremely high learning capacity being able to take little time to learn techniques, increase their strength and adapt against different situations. They are also able to adapt quickly to anything that doesn't kill them outright, developing new powers, abilities, and resistances against the corresponding threat in mere moments.
Weaknesses
His Victory Divinity isn't absolute and usually just keeps Hou from being subject to death or conditions that are fatal. Thus, he can still be defeated by non-lethal methods such as fainting and incapacitating. Furthermore, such a deity does not work well with beings of equal or greater power.
Weapons & Paraphernalia
Indomitable Staff

It has the appearance of an orange stick 130cm high, silver tips and the word "determination" engraved on the handle. Armor of the Sage
Description: A chinese-styled blue armor, featuring golden shoulder pads and a removable mouth mask. This combat piece has extensive durability, being able to withstand virtually any power without breaking and increasing the wearer's strength to a certain degree.
Quotes
"A strong body has a strong mind and a strong soul. It's no use training just one if you don't practice the rest."
"In case you haven't figured it out yet, I'm going to be short and blunt... I'm not underestimating you. You are weak."
"The thrill of the duel... the blood being spilled.. warriors battling with their pride and honor on the line.... ah! How can there be a better joy than this? Heh..."
"Why be on the mercy of thrill is the best way of living? Simple. Time passes. As such, ideas and desires remains in the past. What's the point of dreaming if you can't fulfill and enjoy it?"
Trivia
Character created by Opfan33.
Hou fled a week before inheriting his father's throne (before both Kairoth and Mythra returned to the Betaverse), claiming he had no interest in the position (demonstrating his total lack of responsibility). So, his younger brother Kaiser took over, and strangely didn't show any grudge towards Hou for such an act.
His favorite food is milkshake, and his least favorite is pork.
If that wasn't obvious enough, he is a homage to the famous character Sun Wukong, the Monkey King (Journey to the West). This includes his carefree personality, irresponsibility, certain abilities (shapeshifting, self-replication, staff manipulation), and love for combat. In Cronikus, he's actually Sun Wukong himself. Well, not quite. Basically, when Hou visited Earth years ago, he decided to mess around in a monkey form and even, later in human form, inspired authors to write Journey to the West.
Hou doesn't have a favorite nephew, saying he likes and appreciates each one equally.
He's mostly at his Mount of Challenge, chilling or sleeping.
As a god with a wanderlust spirit, Hou has traveled across various realms and dimensions, exploring different cultures and meeting diverse beings. He collects souvenirs from each realm, creating a personal gallery of artifacts and mementos.
Hou has developed unique meditation techniques that combine aspects of combat focus and spiritual enlightenment.
Even though he's a battle-maniac himself, he despises needless battles; and claims that fighting without a purpose is a disgrace to a warrior's pride.
While strict in his training approach, Hou understands the significance of balance. He knows when to be serious and demanding, yet he also recognizes the need for rest and the importance of acknowledging his students' achievements.
In addition to souvenirs, Hou has an extensive collection of mystical artifacts and weapons gathered during his travels.
Hou occasionally organizes interdimensional martial arts competitions on his Mount of Challenge. Fighters from diverse realms participate, creating a melting pot of combat styles and techniques. These competitions serve not only as a test of skill but also as a means for cultural exchange.
Despite his casual demeanor, Hou possesses a talent for composing epic verses and poetry. His works often reflect on the transient nature of existence, the beauty of combat, and the importance of cherishing moments in life.

Kyomi has the dual nature of a kitsune. At first glance, she appears mischievous and bothersome, often playing pranks on unsuspecting students (like Ryan) to create the illusion of a mere fox spirit with nothing better to do. Collaborating with others, like Dae-Seong, she enjoys weaving tricks, especially targeting individuals like Itta and Naomi, and even engaging with Asami in playful banter. However, beneath this playful facade lies a wise and profound individual.
Kyomi is a master of mental training, capable of guiding even the most wrathful beings toward a state of calm-mindedness. Her thousand years of existence have endowed her with a wealth of knowledge and insight. Despite her sly exterior, Kyomi genuinely cares for her students and strives to lead them on a path of self-discovery. Her teachings extend beyond the conventional, delving into the mystical realms of the kitsune, offering a unique perspective on life, enlightenment, and the balance between mischief and wisdom. Kyomi fosters an environment where mistakes are embraced as opportunities for growth, and where the journey of self-discovery is as important as the destination.
Powers and Abilities
Kitsune Physiology: Kyomi is a kitsune, a type of spirit present on Japanese folklore and mythologies. Specifically, she's a Umi Kitsune. Her fox-like traits include heightened senses, granting her an acute awareness of her surroundings, and a supernatural longevity.

Kyomi's training in both physical and spiritual realms has elevated her strength to unparalleled heights. The fusion of her heritage and disciplined exercises has created a harmonious balance, granting her the ability to manipulate and channel mystical energy through her physical form.

The layers of spiritual energy that envelop her form create a mystical barrier, absorbing and dispersing the impact of attacks that would incapacitate lesser beings.
Enhanced Agility: Her agile movements border on the supernatural, granting her unmatched flexibility and grace. She effortlessly performs acrobatic maneuvers, leaping and twisting through the air with unparalleled finesse. Her agility enables her to navigate treacherous terrain with ease, swiftly adapting to her surroundings.

Immortality: Kyomi is blessed with the gift of immortality, a consequence of her kitsune lineage and the infusion of ancient mystical energies. Her existence spans an impressive 25,000 years, rendering her impervious to the passage of time. While not invulnerable to harm, her regenerative abilities ensure that injuries heal rapidly, preventing the ravages of time from leaving a permanent mark on her ethereal form.
Chi Manipulation: Kyomi is a notable learner of the chi arts, a life-force energy that exists in all beings, having it mastered when she was just a kid (by her mother's teachings). Her control over chi is so refined that she can even manipulate it to heal her own wounds, accelerating the body's natural healing processes. She can use it to physically manifesting all of her inner strength and releasing it through sheer willpower. She can project chi attacks, enhance her physical attributes, infuse it into weapons to make them more powerful, perform dimensional slicing, and potentially various other types of chi-related powers.

Non-Physical Interaction: Her martial arts style, combined with her mastery of chi, enables her to interact with and perceive non-physical entities and energies. Through her connection to the spiritual realm, she can sense the presence of supernatural beings, dispel illusions, and disrupt ethereal forces. This formidable ability extends beyond the physical realm, allowing her to manipulate the intangible and affect an opponent's soul, bypassing their physical defenses and exploiting their vulnerabilities.
Onmyōdō: Kyomi's unique ability to merge chi with magic gives rise to the arcane art of Onmyōdō. This ancient mystical practice allows her to harmonize the dual forces of yin and yang, forging a delicate equilibrium that influences the very fabric of reality. Through Onmyōdō, Kyomi can manipulate spiritual energies, create protective wards, and even influence the balance of elemental forces.
Inscription Casting: Kyomi's expertise in inscription casting involves the creation of magical symbols and glyphs that amplify the potency of her spiritual abilities. These inscriptions act as conduits for mystical energies, enabling Kyomi to focus and direct her chi-enhanced magic with precision. Whether inscribing protective wards, enhancing her spells, heal herself, or creating mystical barriers, her skill in inscription casting reflects her mastery over the fusion of chi and arcane forces.
Exorcism: She possesses the sacred ability of exorcism, rooted in her deep understanding of spiritual energies and mystical forces. Her mastery over this ancient art enables her to purify and banish malevolent entities, freeing individuals from spiritual afflictions and restoring balance to disturbed energies.
Wu Xing Manipulation: Kyomi's proficiency in manipulating chi extends to the ancient Chinese philosophy of Wu Xing, the Five Elements. Through her connection to the elemental forces of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water, she can harness their energies to bring about balance and transformation. This mastery allows her to adapt to various situations, enhance her mystical abilities, and attune herself to the natural rhythms of the world.
Sealing: Her mastery over Onmyōdō extends to the ancient art of sealing, allowing her to manipulate spiritual energies to create powerful wards and barriers. Through symbols and rituals, she can bind and seal supernatural entities, preventing them from causing harm or disturbances.
Spiritual Awareness: Kyomi's heightened spiritual awareness allows her to perceive and understand the web of energies that surround both the material and ethereal realms. This awareness extends beyond the physical senses, enabling her to sense spiritual imbalances, disruptions, and the presence of otherworldly entities.
Shapeshifting: As a kitsune, she possesses the ability to shapeshift, allowing her to assume various forms at will, ranging from a captivating human guise to the elegant, multi-tailed fox that is emblematic of her true nature. This ability extends beyond mere appearance, enabling her to mimic voices and even imitate specific individuals with uncanny precision.
Fox-Fire Manipulation: Kyomi's connection to her kitsune heritage grants her the ability to manipulate ethereal fox-fire—a mystical flame that embodies the essence of her spiritual energy. These ethereal flames are both beautiful and potent, serving various purposes, from illumination to spiritual purification. Kyomi can shape and control the fox-fire at will, creating mesmerizing displays or utilizing it as a formidable weapon in both physical and mystical confrontations.
Abilities

Her mastery over martial arts, combined with her supernatural abilities, makes her a formidable force in both hand-to-hand combat and mystical confrontations. Her profound understanding of spiritual enlightenment, combined with her ability to connect with students on both intellectual and spiritual levels, makes her an extraordinary educator. Kyomi employs a holistic approach to teaching, incorporating mystical insights, practical exercises, and spiritual guidance into her lessons. Despite being mostly his own merit, it is through Kyomi's teachings that Dae-Seong has such versatile control over his Probability Magic, and as stated by himself, "it's due to the fox I'm invicible!".
Weaknesses
Despite her mastery over spiritual forces, Kyomi is vulnerable to attacks that disrupt or corrupt spiritual energies. Malevolent entities with the ability to interfere with her connection to the mystical realms pose a significant threat, requiring her to be vigilant in maintaining spiritual balance.
While possessing enhanced durability, Kyomi's physical endurance is not boundless. Engaging in prolonged physical confrontations can exhaust her, and sustaining significant injuries may compromise her ability to manifest her full range of mystical powers.
