Let’s imagine that one day you wake and you’re feeling good, better even, the greatest you’ve ever felt. Turns out you had gained every single one of your favourite superpowers overnight, even the omnipotent ones. With these new power you do everything you wanted to do with your favourite powers except as you doing all the things you wanted to do, a mysterious man appears on a building in which you teleport over to and that, despite your endless power, presence and knowledge, can seem to get a read on this man. He emits a strange aura and he tells you that he’s from an organisation that deals with people like you, people with superpowers, but you see, you are the most powerful super they have ever seen by a long shot, so although your actions do have good intentions, You need to be neutralised. You try to make him vanish or erase him from existence but for some reason you can’t, in fact, you’ve returned to your normal form, everything you have altered about reality has returned to normal and you have forgotten all the knowledge you have learned. The man isn’t surprised and he just calmly walks up to you and puts a hand on your shoulder as he tells you, “you may have been a god a few seconds ago, but even gods can be taken down to a mortal level. I can’t explain how it works but it’s a machine crafted from the biologies of hundreds of superhumans, designed for one purpose, to neutralise the powers of any superhuman.” He continues talking, saying how this entire building contain a massive that has been draining every last drop of your infinite power. Now you are just like the man now, an ordinary human with no powers whatsoever, to make that point clear he decides to karate kick you in the nuts and you feel every bit of pain. Then he walks off, without elaborating on why he just did that.
