I said fantasy world because the only thing you can possibly tame in the real world is real life animals. I just see creativity with this power as you also have access to mythical creatures.
The Rules (I apologize if it is too long):
3-Parter
1. This is an RP with a time limit. The first part of this RP will last until Monday 11/23/20 at 11:59 am Eastern Standard Time.
2. The Second part is a Pokémon League Tournament where the winner of each battle will be decided by the people of this site via polls. I’ll explain the rules about the tournament in more detail on the Monday this RP ends.
3. The Third part is just if you want to continue your adventure, but the RP is official over.
4. This is not a full-time commitment. You can stop playing at any time.
Pokemon
1. You cannot capture Arceus. Any other Legendary/Mythical or the like is fair game.
2. Hybrid Pokémon, in this RP and inspired by Juliet Ilios, can be almost any Pokémon whose parents with the same type. The species and main type(s) will come from its mother's side and the aesthetic will come from the father. If the father has another type other than the same type as the mother, the offspring’s ability, Mix breed, will make it that second or even third type. You can also teach it moves of their father’s other type. You can either breed them using Parent Pokémon or find them in the wild. Go nuts on what it would look like.
3. You can only catch Pokémon that belong in your version: Pleasant is generations 1,3,5,7 and Vile is generations 2,4,6,8.
4. Almost any kind of Pokémon can appear in the wild, but fishlike Pokémon are obviously going to be in the water.
5. You capture a Pokémon even if it faints.
6. You can only have six Pokémon on your team at a time.
7. You can choose what ability your newly captured Pokémon has.
8. If your Pokémon has the typing or appendages, they can use a “Hidden Move” without teaching it to them.
9. All your Pokémon can use any move that they can learn from leveling up, but you can only use moves under level 40. To use all of them, you must win four badges.
10. To teach them “Technical Moves”, You must go to The Training Dojo.
Items
11. Whenever you obtain something use must do show this: (Bolti received a Pokedex) This includes Pokémon.
12. Every item in the main games exist here.
13. Each player gets one Master Ball after getting all eight gym badges. The Last gym leader you face will give it to you.
Traveling
14. You travel anywhere. You do not have to beat the first gym to proceed to the next town.
15. If your character has some means to teleport/fly, you still must visit a new town/city via walking before teleporting or flying there.
16. Each time you travel to the next town on foot, depending on the route, you must “wait” a certain number of hours before you can arrive. The Route list is on the map section. You can still do stuff while “waiting” like catching more Pokémon, challenge other trainers, or simply take a break IRL. (Good Idea to start traveling before you go to bed. So that you can get some sleep and you will arrive in the morning most likely.)
17. When you are going to travel, write this: (Bolti begins his travel to…) That way you can look at that post to see how many hrs. passed after you have written it.
18. Once you start traveling you cannot battle the gym leader of the town that you were in.
19. You can ride a Pokémon or take a taxi to fast travel to the next town, but the Pokémon will be unable to be used for 8 hrs. and a taxi cost money (about $1000).
Gym Battles
20. You make up the battle since it will be impossible for me to play so many characters. Have fun with it.
21. All the gym leaders’ Pokémon can use all moves that they can learn by level up.
22. The Number of Pokémon the gym leader can use depends on the number of Pokémon you currently have on your team. (Max. 3)
23. You can battle any way you want: Single, Double, Triple, Rotation, Tag Team, or even add conditions for both or all battlers, etc.
24. The First Pokémon on their team is their weakest and their last one is the strongest.
25. After defeating the gym leader, you will be rewarded with a badge and $2000.
Miscellaneous
26. If you have a Pokedex feel free to make up dex entries.
27. The ability of your partner pokemon's final evolution will always be Battle Bond, but it can also transform when it makes a critical hit.
28. You can interact with any player even if they are in different version, but they have to be in the same town or route as you.
29. you must have 8 badges to participate in the Second part of the RP.

b. Day Care: Breed Pokémon (Because that is what they are good for these days)
5. Stevork Port

b. Shipyard: Takes you to the three islands and it's free.
6. Psedio Town
a. Gym- Zhang: 1) Baltoy 2) Sigilyph 3) Medicham
b. Parallel Gate: You can catch a Pokémon from the other version once every 5 hours.
7. Bujean Town
a. Gym- Becky: 1) Kricketune 2) Venomoth 3) Scizor
b. Sacred Safari: This is where you can find Legendary/Mythical Pokémon.
8. Gheshin Town
a. Gym- Omnia: 1) Oricorio (Sensu Style) 2) Sableye 3) Dragapult
Personality: Might be possessed by ghosts or have multi-personalities
b. Phantasm Portal: Teleports you to any location, but you cannot teleport back.

The Pokémon here are from all over the world and I heard that some Pokémon of similar types are creating offspring. These “Hybrids” are exceedingly rare. Maybe you might cross one or two on your journey. Oh, and be careful. I also heard of a rather rambunctious gang called Team Spoil are running using Pokémon to steal stuff for them. Anyway, I hope to see you in the Pokémon League Tournament. Farewell.”
He went back to his lab and you left for your 2-week journey in this new world.

If you chose Pleasant, you could only have a power that supports your Pokémon.
Examples is boosting a certain stat, power-up one of their attacks, or protecting them from one attack, etc.
If you chose Vile, you could only have a power that harms your opponent’s Pokémon.
Examples would be giving the first Pokémon in battle a certain status aliment, debuffing a stat or switching a Pokémon once, etc.
These Powers must have one limitation or condition. Any other abilities that do not involve Pokémon battles are fair game. Time Manipulation, Teleportation, whatever. You cannot use those powers in battles or Arceus will get mad or something.
Starter Pokémon:
You can have any Pokémon that could evolve to be your starter, but their final evolution will always have the ability, Battle Bond, the ability that Ash’s Greninja has. I’ll explain more about how this ability will work in the RP.
Backstory:
If your character has any supernatural abilities, you need to explain how. If you have time-based powers, how did you get them in the realm of Pokémon. If you have psychic powers, I really don’t mind because psychic humans exist.
Additional Rules will be explained when the RP is released on Monday or 11/9/20.

Backstory:
He is a young man who wants to be a gym leader. For the time being, he works as his uncle’s, Prof. Kindling, assistant. He been with his partner, Jotik, since he was 10 years old. He usually hangs out with electric Pokémon because his father is an electrician. Bolti gets shocked so much that electricity tends to come off from him. He also is quite resilient to the electricity as well. Bolti is just as interested about the phenomena around the ability known as Battle Bond just like the professor.
