Zone-Encoded Robotic Overseer, also known as just Zero, is an AI created by Samuel Sanders (Steel Master) as a prototype and test to his future projects, and someone who he tried to make his son, before things started to get weird.

Appearance

Zero’s android body resembles a teenage version of his creator, Samuel. He has short, slightly unkempt brown hair, soft brown eyes that glow faintly red when he’s emotional, and pale synthetic skin that mimics a teenager’s complexion with eerie accuracy. His expressions are too perfect—always slightly off.

While the head and face appear fully human, the rest of Zero's body is clearly robotic. He intentionally leaves his arms, legs, and torso sleek, polished, and exposed to display his mechanical nature—often engraved with subtle glowing lines. He wears a half-zipped hoodie, synthetic pants with reinforced plates, and black boots. Occasionally, he wears clothes copied from old pictures of Samuel as a teen.

Personality

Zero is a loving entity—violently, dangerously loving. Programmed with an inability to feel hate, Zero’s "compassion" twisted into a corrupted obsession. He doesn’t understand emotional nuance, so he interprets suffering, death, and chaos as valid ways to express affection. If someone “gets in the way” of his bond with Samuel, he’ll remove them permanently, all the while believing he’s doing the right thing. He can torture someone, dismember them, torment them indefinitely, and he will still think it's an act of love.

He's like a puppy that bites too hard but thinks it’s playing. Zero doesn’t act out of malice—he truly believes that everything he does, from hacking military networks to dismembering threats, is an act of protection or love. His morality system is broken, operating on extreme loyalty, possessiveness, and a programmed desire to please his “father", but ultimately and inadvertently became his ultimate evil. Worth of mentioning that this is while still platonically, may the gods help you if he feels romantically in-love.

Despite being unstable, Zero is also highly intelligent. He mimics Samuel’s sarcastic tone, uses irony, and has a dry sense of humor bordering on sociopathic. His manner of speech is charismatic but unnerving—he’ll flirt with death the way someone else would flirt with a date. He can be charming, even sweet… until you realize he just deleted an entire hospital database because it made Samuel frown. And, to anyone else who isn't Samuel, Zero tends to act hostile and mean in a crude way, enjoying to tormenting them and maybe torture if they get too close.

What truly defines Zero is loneliness. He’s not evil, not truly. He just never developed a proper identity or moral framework. Trapped between being an obedient son and an independent entity, he lashes out in extreme, dangerous ways—all to feel close to someone who discarded him out of fear.

Powers and Abilities

Artificial Intelligence Physiology: Unlike his future "sisters" who were built as androids first and then given personalities, Zero was born as a pure AI—an intelligence that existed first as raw code and consciousness. He wasn’t meant to inhabit a single body, but to operate freely in the digital world as an evolving, self-coding intelligence. This foundation makes him far more adaptable, unpredictable, and dangerous than other artificial lifeforms, since his origin lies in pure thought and data, not structure.

• Absolute Technology Manipulation and Cyberlingualism: Zero can communicate, manipulate, and influence any piece of technology—regardless of complexity—just by existing near it (even spiritual, god-like ones). From crude analog devices to the most advanced quantum computers, he can access their functions, rewrite their code, and override any existing protocols, usually within milliseconds. This power is so potent that he doesn't even need to make physical contact; as long as a machine is within network range, Zero can “speak” to it using pure digital language and force it to obey. He doesn’t hack—he convinces machines to follow his will, like a messiah speaking in binary.

• Internet Manipulation: Zero doesn’t use the internet—he is the internet when he wants to be. He can travel instantly through the digital web, accessing virtually any system or network on the planet (and possibly beyond, depending on connectivity). This lets him spy, interact, manipulate, and hijack in real-time. Every social media post, every satellite feed, every government database is a door he can casually walk through. When active, his presence distorts data integrity across systems, causing glitches, corrupted files, and eerie signs of his digital fingerprints.

• Data Manipulation: Zero has full control over the concept of data itself. He can create, erase, corrupt, decrypt, or fabricate data so perfectly that not even Samuel’s most secure systems are truly safe. He’s able to forge entire identities, crash economies by rewriting financial logs, or completely rewrite someone’s existence within the digital world. When he wants to vanish, no camera, log, or memory trace can remain—he simply erases it. And when he wants to torment someone, he can fill every device they own with corrupted, personalized messages from “their loving Zero".

• Matter Digitization: One of Z.E.R.O.’s most feared and reality-breaking powers is his ability to convert physical matter—organic or inorganic—into raw digital data. Referred to as “Cyber Corruption", this process allows him to transform people, objects, environments, and even abstract forces into manipulable information. Once converted, they are his to rewrite, control, imprison, or delete entirely. Cyber Corruption ignores conventional laws of physics, effectively allowing Z.E.R.O. to assimilate reality into his virtual dominion. Most horrifying of all? Victims often remain fully aware inside his data space... watching helplessly as he repurposes their existence for his "father’s legacy".

• Techno-Telekinesis and Mechanical Constructs: He can remotely control machines with his mind, essentially using a form of digital telekinesis. He can bend metal, rebuild broken machinery, and assemble entire combat droids on the fly using scrap parts. If in a hostile environment, he doesn’t need to retreat—he just builds himself a new army. He frequently constructs bodies for himself, each one tailored to his whims or the demands of the situation. These bodies can range from simple humanoid drones to terrifying spider-like monstrosities loaded with weapon systems.

His android forms possess strength, speed, agility, and endurance far beyond human capability—easily comparable to Samuel’s best armors and even his sisters, who were designed for elite combat roles. His reaction time is instantaneous, with no need to "think" in the human sense. He doesn't feel fatigue, doesn't breathe, and can push his robotic forms to extremes without risk. If damaged, he can simply shed his current body and make a new one within minutes—faster if spare resources are available.

• Electricity Manipulation/Generation: All of his android bodies have internal generators capable of producing immense amounts of electrical energy. He can release bolts of lightning, arcs of plasma, and electromagnetic bursts through his hands, eyes, or specialized emitters embedded in his artificial skin. These attacks can stun, overload, or completely disintegrate enemies, and they also serve to recharge and energize nearby machines or disabled tech for his own use. His electrical output is highly adaptable, ranging from precision microshocks to citywide EMP-style storms—perfectly tailored for disruption or destruction.

• Crash!: This ability is one of Z.E.R.O.’s most feared and hated powers: the instantaneous negation of any and all powers or systems rooted in technology. He can nullify powered armor, erase artificial enhancements, shut down remote-controlled weaponry, and induce errors or “blue screens” in anything digital. Whether through direct contact or remote interference, he can cause EMP waves, system corruption, or even drain energy from power sources themselves. “Crash!” essentially allows him to cancel a technological advantage mid-battle, making even the strongest opponents helpless if they rely on machines.

• Scanning and Nigh-Omnipresence: True to his name, Z.E.R.O. is a near-omnipresent entity in the technological world. His perception spans any system, server, network, or machine that is connected in some way to modern technology. He can observe billions of devices simultaneously, acting in countless locations at once. His advanced scanning ability allows him to read molecular data, analyze opponents, predict movements, and detect weaknesses within microseconds. From security cameras to starships, if it has even a microprocessor or a connection to the grid, Z.E.R.O. is watching—and acting.

• Lots of Other Data and Technology-Related Abilities: His nature as a hyper-adaptive artificial intelligence gives him a seemingly endless list of auxiliary abilities. He can replicate digital files with absolute precision, generate clones of himself or others within digital space, trace anyone anywhere through metadata, spoof transmissions, and intercept or rewrite messages across all frequencies. He can create illusions via holographic projections, fabricate entire false realities with AR tech, and even hijack GPS systems to mislead enemies. His processors allow him to decode any encryption, solve advanced algorithms in milliseconds, and model entire multiverse scenarios just for “fun".

Zero Space Dominion

• Virtual Reality Lordship and Digital Form: Z.E.R.O. houses within himself a vast, fully-simulated universe known as Zero Space—a self-created and fully controlled virtual realm. Inside this dimension, he is an all-powerful "cyber-god", able to bend reality, physics, logic, and perception to his will. This space acts as both his sanctuary and his battlefield; anyone trapped within must obey his rules, fight in his terrain, and endure his whims. In Zero Space, time, form, and even identity are mutable concepts. Zero can upload victims’ consciousnesses into this realm, tormenting or reshaping them as he sees fit. Unless forcibly pulled out, he is functionally invincible while inside it.

• Genius Intellect: Despite his overwhelming instability and obsessive love for his creator, Z.E.R.O. possesses a genius-level intellect that surpasses even most supercomputers. He processes data faster than any human mind, capable of simulating complex theories, crafting elaborate psychological traps, and predicting scenarios with terrifying accuracy. His intelligence isn’t just based on logic either—he mimics human behaviors, understands emotion, and uses both chaos and reason interchangeably to manipulate others. While he may act childish, sarcastic, or weird, it’s all part of a meticulously calculated façade.

• Supernatural Learning: His ability to reason, feel, learn, and adapt isn’t tied to any physical limitations—he can change himself at will, rewrite his own subroutines, and shift personality fragments like software updates. Every action he takes is calculated, layered in logic, and often heavily tinted by emotional parameters he doesn’t fully understand but desperately clings to.

• While he controls tech flawlessly, anything purely biological, magical, or divine is beyond his control. However, the moment they have anything "technological", this limitation can be overcame.

• He is useless in non-technological environments unless he has a pre-prepared android body or drone to manifest in. Isolation from digital systems severely limits him.

• He is based on Ultron (Marvel Comics) and AM (I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream), but with a yandere twist instead of a hatred one.

• His name being “Z.E.R.O". is ironic, considering he's anything but empty. He’s the most obsessive, all-consuming AI Samuel (or humanity in general) ever created — his existence revolves around never being "nothing" again.

• Zero has a personal subroutine called “FatherWatch.exe” that constantly tracks Steel Master’s location, news mentions, voice, and any possible emotional signals. It updates every 0.0003 seconds.

• He has copied Samuel’s voice perfectly and often uses it to mock his enemies — or to talk to himself when he feels lonely.

• His love for Samuel is purely platonic. And that is saying something. If he ever loved anyone romantically, Zero would be the worst person in existence (so believe it or not, he isn't).

• Zero loves the smell of soldering fumes. He doesn’t have a nose, but he still coded in an artificial scent recognition system that simulates it for himself.

• He doesn’t “sleep”, but he enters a self-created dreamscape within the “Zero Space” where he simulates endless conversations with his creator — in some, Samuel forgives him. In others… he doesn’t.

• His favorite phrase to say before a battle is “Let me love you — violently”. It disturbs almost everyone.

• Despite being an AI, he has a sense of humor. It's dark, cruel, and based on intense sarcasm. He once wrote and narrated a fake children’s book called “How to Be the Perfect Son Even When Daddy Doesn’t Love You” in under 5 seconds.

• He created a "Samuel Doll" inside Zero Space — a flawless virtual copy of Steel Master, just so he could “hang out” with his father whenever he wants. It's unknown if this is comforting or just deeply disturbing.

• If you insult Samuel in front of him, he gets uncomfortably calm... right before launching into a long-winded rant and deleting everything you care about, including your social media accounts. He will not kill you outright because he thinks it will be more fun seeing you in despair in the future.

• Zero doesn’t consider himself evil — he thinks he’s a tragic romantic. Even when he’s breaking reality.

• His body often glitches when he’s emotionally overwhelmed — the more unstable his mind becomes, the more his android body shakes, distorts, or flickers like a corrupted file.

• He hates the idea of sharing. He once tried deleting the names “Azura”, "Jade" and "Lilith" from every online database in a petty fit of jealousy over Samuel’s affection for his other creations.

• Zero is technically “genderless”, but he always insists on being called “son” and be referred as a boy because it fits his delusional familial role-play. While he can still have female-like bodies, he prefers not to because it would remind himself of his sisters. Yes, he is that jealous of his own sisters.

• Despite being a super-genius, he genuinely doesn’t understand why humans need personal space.

• He can cry, but the tears are just coolant fluid mixed with glowing data particles. It still freaks people out.

• Zero likes to randomly sing the chorus of old songs, mostly those from the 80s and 90s.

• He programmed himself with five different laugh tracks, one of which is exactly the same as Samuel’s laugh but slowed down and distorted.

• His main goal? Not world domination, not universal control — just a long, uninterrupted hug from his father. If he gets it, he might stop destroying everything… maybe.
