Welcome to Pandora, a land of chaos and sadness. Humanity has been driven to near-extinction due to dragons after the Old War. During the Old War, a new group arose from the darkness: The Nexus. While Empires fight each other, a hidden war rages underground, hidden from many except those who have seen their atrocities in person.
Will you join our group of Drifters, Nomads, and Reclaimers in the hunt for the Nexus? Or will you side with the Nexus and their goal to control dragons?

Sign-up Rules:
Max number of OCs is two. This is so that the RP doesn’t become too crowded.
If you have read through the info posts, you may have learned of Void magic. Void magic is not allowed for any of your characters for lore and RP reason.
No one is allowed to be part of the Void Tribe for lore and RP reasons.
Please try to find character art as an appearance. I will allow paragraph descriptions, but I prefer character art for appearance.
If you wish to join Shadow, please tell me first. I can only allow few people to join Shadow.
I will be limiting the number of Dragonriders (Humans with dragons) for variety.
Although I am allowing antagonists for the RP, I will not allow any antagonists/villains that have committed or will do vile or inhumane crimes in the RP. If I find any such instance, I will immediately ban you from this and all future RPs, as I do not condone any manner or form of this.
Though the RP takes place 5000 years in the future, you are free to use any type of technology, but please make sure that it is appropriate to your faction. Dragons will not possess any technology unless allied with humans (Lua Tribe).
A minimum of 2 weaknesses are needed. If multiple of your OC’s weaknesses affect one aspect of the character’s magic, I would prefer that they be grouped as one weakness unless they are extremely different.
If you plan to make hybrid species of dragons, the maximum number of tribes permitted is two, as I cannot allow anyone to be completely immune to everything.
Drifters have no job other than mercenary, please do not give them jobs that would fit Reclaimers or Nomads. The same goes for the other faction. Give them the appropriate job for that faction.
Personality and weaknesses are required.
The age range is from 20 - 40.
The backstory, extra info, and theme are optional.
Please use the sheets I have given. I will not allow links to other posts for your characters, but I do allow Google Docs.
No OP Powers. This includes Meta, Omni, Ultimate, Infinite, Cosmic and Absolute-level Abilities, Abilities surrounding warping Reality, Abilities related to ones that control Fiction/Fictional Worlds, etc. Do not attempt to sneak any in, as I will notice.
No Angelic nor Demonic powers, as they do not fit this RP.
Please create original characters: If you need help creating an original one or if you wish to recreate a character for the RP, please ping me, I will try and help.
If you have any questions after reading all the info posts, please do ping me and ask me those questions, I will try to answer them immediately. If I do not respond for a few hours, then that means that I am caught up with something. If you ask the question after 10:00 PM EST, I will not respond until the next day because I’d most likely be asleep or going to sleep.
Max amount of magic types is two. I will allow the same type of magic or power, but please don't go overboard.
Your magic must have a sacrifice when used. The sacrifice is yours to choose. If you need help, ping me.
Please don’t give me reasons to add more rules, I’m trying not to restrict the RP a lot.
Please, Please, Please tell me if you make any changes to your character, it'll make my job much easier as I will know that I have to change the record that I have for your OC.

Part 2:
Part 1:
It's been some time! Sorry for not posting this, I've been having my finals and everything, but finally, I'm free...
For only the next 2-3 months.
But anyways...
Like humans, dragons have their own groups, known as Tribes. Unlike humans, these tribes are essentially different species of dragons, each having different characteristics based on their environment. After the Old War, dragons took over the continent, forming their own kingdoms and territories.
Sand Tribe:
The richest of the tribes of Pandora, the Sand Tribe has the most amount of territory due to the vast desert that covers more than one-third of Pandora. Many rumors have been flying around in human communities about how the Sand Tribe grew rich after they plundered human banks and vaults. Of course, many things about pre-Old War humans have long been forgotten by dragonkind.
Appearance: All dragons within this tribe/species appear between yellow and yellow-brown shades. They possess stingers that share a likeness to scorpion stingers.
Trait:
Can last weeks without water and food
Flames hotter than average dragon flames
More flame resistant
Scales are resistant to Timefall
Scorpion Stingers inject venom powerful enough to kill any dragon in hours. Its only antidote is extremely rare
Cons:
Are more vulnerable to cold-based attacks
They are the second most hunted dragon species due to their Timefall resistant scales
Ice Tribe:
The Ice Tribe are the second richest dragon tribe. Their structures are considered the most beautiful as their castles and palaces are made of unmeltable ice. This tribe lives in the Arctic region near the Northern Dead Zone.
Appearance: All dragons within this species appear in shades of blue to blue-white, with their scales in the shape of an icicle. Their tail can possess anywhere from one to four elongated spikes.
Traits:
Can resist cold climates better than most dragons
Their breath can either be frigid cold, blistering hot, or they can breathe fire so cold it burns
More resistant to ice-based attacks
Their scales can resist most kinetic attacks, leading to the development of anti-draconic tanks that fire 314mm ammunition. Their scales can also resist the effects of Timefall
Their elongated spikes at the end of their tale can penetrate most objects
Cons:
They are the most hunted species due to their scales' value and uses.
Fire-based attacks are more efficient on them
Most of the tribe hates hot climates
Rainforest Tribe:
The Rainforest Tribe, though the deadliest of all the current tribes, is also, ironically, the most pacifist tribe: they refuse to fight in any war and remain neutral to any humans, leading to one of the largest Drifter hubs, Dromeda, to be built near the tribe's "palace."
Appearance: Dragons in this tribe appear in various colors, causing them also to gain the title of the most colorful tribe, though the most common colors are in shades of green.
Traits:
Their scales can change color, allowing them to camouflage themselves without any effort.
They can spit venom that can melt through most materials
Cons:
Need the sunlight to "recharge."
Lua Tribe:
A well-known tribe among humans, the Lua Tribe is allied to Drifters and resides near Moon Range and the largest Drifter hub, Oracle. The Lua tribe is the only tribe out of all the others to have and use the powers of the three moons to their advantage.
Appearance: Dragons in this tribe appear in shades of black, with some having specks of white on the scales.
Traits:
Their attacks and fire breath are more powerful in correlation to the number of moons visible and the phase in which the moon is. They are most powerful during the Brightest Night when all three moons are visible and are in their full moon phase.
Cons:
A Lua dragon’s powers are only in full effect once the sun has gone down. Their powers can still influence them during day time, but the effect is only minor.
Ocean Tribe:
The Ocean tribe is another pacifist tribe, keeping to themselves in the oceans around Pandora. The tribe mainly stays in Dragon’s Bay in the southeast portion of the continent. The Ocean tribe accrued large amounts of gold through trading with the other tribes, most noticeably with the Sand tribe.
Appearance: These dragons appear in shades of blue and aquamarine, with large tails, gills, and webbed talons.
Traits:
They can swim faster and much better than the other tribes
They can breathe underwater
Cons:
No fire breath
Sky Tribe:
A tribe devoted to the sky, Sky dragons are the fastest dragons in Pandora. They can fly for hours without any rest, and many have learned to sleep while flying. The Sky Tribe is one of the richer tribes, with much of its wealth from trading with the other tribes. They live on the largest mountain of Pandora, Eagle’s Peak.
Appearance: Dragons in the tribe have scales in shades of red and orange, with white scales on their underside. Their wings are larger than the wings of dragons from other tribes.
Traits:
They can fly much faster than other dragons
They can fly much further in one go than other dragons
Cons:
None
Void Tribe:
A tribe that is considered extinct, the Void Tribe only consisted of six dragons: Raya, Narmer, Elora, Sigmund, Narami, and Sithura. These dragons were the sole protectors of the Nexuses. As the Old War progressed more and more of them were found dead, until the last day of the war, when only Raya was the only known living Void dragon. Her mate, Sigmund, had been killed by the Nexus, so she remained to protect it, but as many know, her last attempts to protect the Moon Nexus did not succeed, and it shattered. In the aftermath of the war, Raya and Narmer's bodies were not found, so it was assumed that the Nexus's explosion had evaporated their bodies.
Appearance: Unlike all the other tribes, Void dragons do not have a set appearance. The only thing in common between all dragons of the tribe is that they have an orb between their horns that acts as their lifeline. Once they “die,” they exist between life and death, only sustained by their orb. Large amounts of void energy can help bring them out of the state, though only Void dragons and the Void have the energy to do so. Once the orb is shattered, the Void dragon finally dies, with no hope of being brought back.
Traits:
A large orb between their horns allows them to use the Void as their weapon and act as their lifeline if their body dies.
They can use and manipulate Void energy
Cons:
Once they enter their Orb state, they cannot do anything: They cannot move, use their powers, and bring themselves back to the state of living.

Post #1:
With the beginning of the Fallen Age came the creation of factions. Every faction has its benefits and its downfalls, with some coming on top of others for certain factors. Some are jack-of-all-trades, while others excel in one category.
Nomads -
Due to their considering technology as taboo, the Nomads excel at swordsmanship and other such weapons. Where their blades cannot help them, their ballistae, trebuchets, and longbows make up for it.
The Nomads do not allow the use of technology as they believe it will only endanger humanity and lead to humanity’s extinction. Thus, they do not allow the use of technology in their villages.
Pros -
The best swordsmen/women and archers come from Nomad villages.
They are adept at hiding from threats and can camouflage using anything they can find in their surroundings.
Nomads, though they prohibit the use of technology that require electrical energy, such as phones and cars, allow the use of primitive kinetic weapons such as old bolt-action snipers and other non-electrical weapons.
Cons -
They have no access to any technology, though that does not hinder their battles with Reclaimer cities.
Because rarely anyone leaves the villages, people from these villages are not connected with the outside world and only gain information when a Drifter happens to be passing by.
Their isolation from the outside world also means they do not have much information about the different dragon tribes.
Reclaimers -
Reclaimers are everything you can expect them to be: A faction trying to reclaim humanity’s past glory. Except they claimed that glory more than three thousand years ago. Now, they are more advanced, with access to even more technology. Before, people could only wonder what humanity could accomplish. Now, the Reclaimers made them all a reality. With their goal done, their only other goal is to form peace with the dragons and, if everything goes to hell, to protect humanity’s first city, the Last City.
Pros -
The Reclaimers have more advanced weaponry than other known factions.
Reclaimer weapons can use and manipulate Void energy.
Reclaimer archives have much more information about each of the dragon tribes than the Nomads.
Cons -
Reclaimer weaponry, though it's extremely advanced, fails to magic.
They also fail to high powered EMP charges.
Most Reclaimer weapons are designed to deal minimal damage to dragons, with very few weapons classified within the “Dragonslayer” class.
Drifters -
Drifters are the jack-of-all-trade as they are not bound to the same rules that the Nomads and Reclaimers are bound to. Drifters use weapons of wide varieties, with varying techniques of fighting.
Pros -
Access to many kinds of weapons
Nearly limitless options of fighting styles, including martial arts such as Krav Maga and Kali martial arts
Drifters have the most information about dragons and the landscape.
Most Drifters find ways to harness Void magic, even if they are not natural magic wielders.
Cons -
No actual job
Money is hard to come by
Limited access to high-tech weaponry
Most Drifters have no permanent home or place to stay, and so they have to resort to drifting around the continent, hence the name “Drifters”
Shadow -
Shadow is a brotherhood of assassins whose origins are lost in the murky depths of history. Believed to be a myth by the common public, Shadow is rumored to have originated from the missing Shadow Team, the noblest team of the Old Age armies who followed one tenet: "One must keep their weapons from the innocent."
Shadow’s war against the Nexus has also spanned across the entirety of the Fallen Age. Their war began shortly before the beginning of the Fallen Age, around the time of the Prelude War when the Nexus had made their first appearance. Their war has been destructive and violent since then, creating “Dead Zones”, small patches across the continents marked with wars and death.
To join Shadow, you must do something worthy of their notice. Otherwise, they shall never come to you.
Pros -
They possess stealth technology more advanced than any other faction
The best assassin’s on the continent work with Shadow
They possess Reclaimer and Old Age weapons.
They have an arsenal of reverse-engineered Derelict weapons
Contacts in every. Single. Faction (except Nexus).
Cons -
War
Restricted by their Tenet
They cannot reveal themselves to the public
You have to find them to actually join them
Nexus -
Nexus is a group of like-minded leaders who have gained many followers for their plans. A group marked with evil, the Nexus's only goal is to find a way to control all the dragon tribes. During the Old Age, the Nexus could not gain access to any of the Catalysts due to the six Protectors. After the war, many presumed that all six Protectors were killed during the war when only five bodies were found.
With the Protectors gone, the Nexus would have had free rein to retrieve the Eclipse Catalyst, were they not stored within a giant containment orb known as the Anode. The actions they will take to gain the Catalyst have yet to be discovered.
Pros -
They have access to the same tech that the Reclaimers have
They have contacts in all the factions, excluding Shadow
Possess nearly the same amount of technology that Shadow has.
Cons -
War.
Members of the Nexus are amongst the most wanted people on the continent.
Important POIs:
The Last City:
The Last City is humanity’s final safe zone. Surrounded by a mountain range, the Last City is the safest city on the continent with impenetrable walls, high military funding, and large anti-dragon artilleries, courtesy of the Reclaimers. Above the city, within a large containment orb known as the Anode, remains the last Catalyst known: The Eclipse Catalyst.
Northern Dead Zone:
A land full of misery and lost pasts, the Northern Dead Zone is all that remains of New York. Devastated with large Void tornadoes, blizzards, and frigid temperatures, the Northern Dead Zone lies between the Dragon Ice Kingdom and the Last City, making life a living hell for anyone who has never crossed the land. No dragons ever dared to cross the expanse because it is rumored that the lost souls from the Old War haunt the lands.
High Sanctuary:
What used to be a land of prosperity and safety is now the polar opposite. Due to the collapse of the Moon Nexus and the explosion of the Moon Catalyst, High Sanctuary is now covered in ethereal rifts. Surrounding High Sanctuary is a mountain range in the shape of a crescent, which is why that mountain range is called Moon Range.
Indestructible City:
Indestructible City is a Nomad kingdom made in a mountain that claims to be the safest kingdom, though many argue otherwise. Surrounded by waterfalls and facing the vast deserts of the Desert Kingdom, Indestructible City has faced many encounters with dragons, though due to the number of bolt holes that lead deep into the mountain, it had no recorded casualties yet.

"One minute, you can have everything you could have ever wanted. The next moment… you could lose it all."
Welcome to a world scarred by wars. A world where the consequences of the past brought forth a world of darkness.
Five thousand years ago, humans and dragons used to coexist peacefully, albeit having a few skirmishes over land now and then.
Then came the Prelude War; A war that marked the beginning of many conflicts. Though the war was relatively short-lived, it still brought large casualties, enough to rival WWII's death count.
Then came the biggest of them all; The Old War. The war lasted for several years, and its primary conflict: High Sanctuary.
Or rather, the primary conflict was for what floated above it, the Moon Nexus:
Within it lay one of the three Catalysts. These catalysts stored immense amounts of raw magic. Anyone could use such power to shape the world into whatever they wished, leading them to be scattered across the globe in identical Nexuses: the Moon Nexus, the Solstice Nexus, and the Eclipse Nexus.
The war was fought around the Moon Nexus for many years until the dragons brought the last battle to High Sanctuary. Unfortunately, the battle was fought under a solar storm, resulting in the Moon Nexus's catastrophic damage. As the gargantuan housing fell, the Catalyst splintered and cracked until it finally gave way and exploded in a mass of raw magic, reshaping the world.
The outcome of the war resulted in a world unlike any other they had seen. Instead of the familiar seven continents, they were on one larger continent. Surrounding the continent were eternal storms, dubbed solar storms, that rained not just rain and thunder but solar radiation as well.
But the explosion caused one last major change to occur. Around the humans, their cities and homes were in smoldering ruins. High Sanctuary, covered in ethereal rifts, was now an uninhabitable wasteland.
The war divided humanity. One part of the population wanted to go into hiding and abandon technology. But the other portion believed they could learn from their mistakes with technology. This led to several factions being formed.
As humans went their separate ways, so ended the Old Age, and so began the Fallen Age.
Known Factions:
Nomads -
The Nomads believed that technology led to their downfall and that history would repeat itself if they returned to using technology. Therefore, they believed hiding was the best way to survive the dragons.
Reclaimers -
The Reclaimers are on the opposite side of the spectrum, believing that technology can help them with both hiding and creating peace with dragons once again. By 5000 A.F., the Reclaimers have learned to access and manipulate Void energy, the energy of the multiverse.
Drifters -
Drifters act as the bridge between both factions. They use technology while also making use of blades and other such weapons. Most magic wielders of the Old Age became Drifters as they believed that both the Reclaimers and the Nomads would abuse their powers.
Where there is the known, there is also the unknown…
Shadow -
Shadow is not a faction but rather a brotherhood of assassins all joined with one burning goal: Eradicate the Nexus.
Shadow has a long history spanning the entirety of the Fallen Age. Looking closely, one can find hints of Shadow's influence over the Fallen Age. Though believed to be a myth by the common public, Shadow is rumored to have originated from the missing Shadow Team, the noblest team of the Old Age armies who followed one tenet: "One must keep their weapons from the innocent."
The last time anyone had seen Shadow Team was when they were deployed one last time in a desperate attempt to save High Sanctuary. Unfortunately, the mission and the catalyst exploded, so Shadow Team disappeared, never to be found again. They are currently marked as MIA/KIA in old war archives.
Due to their goals, they are currently at war with the Nexus, though this war is hidden from the public to such an extent that there is no evidence about the battles.
The Nexus -
The Nexus is one of the more prominent factions, with a large goal to match their size: Control every dragon species or drive them to extinction. They will stop at nothing to control the dragons for their own needs and believe that the catalysts are the only way to make them abide by their commands.
