With colors like that, yeah I suppose he looks like one and yeah those scales are part of his skin.
^Kinda? I envisioned something more akin to Steven Universe's hairdo than I did Superman.
Imma give 'em the surprise of suddenly ending up in their favorite fictional world...and seeing them have Ash William levels of plot armor.

Currently making a design sheet showing a full body sketch of Lapis Dracule. As a bonus, you get to see the half-man under the mask.
^Not to mention any bird perching on your person. Nothing you can do about 'em while frozen.
^Oh yeah he's fine....not the first time he's ever been petrified! Certainly feels itchy at times though. :D

^^^^Thanks! It's what I was aiming for with this dude and his....gift. Like he's very different from the average human that he may feel like an alien, but he would soon learn there's a world full of "aliens" like him.

^Yeah that's what I wanted to do with Lapis Dracule's power-up. I mean, we have Medusa and the sense of sight as well as King Midas and the sense of touch so really....what's missing is the sense of taste so to say....also true on the latter part.
^Probably the way the narrator said it. Not exactly the cleanest mouth no matter how sophisticated he presents himself to be.

"Born as the son of Medusa, Percy Gorgon lived in a cave atop the mountains, isolated from most of humanity. He’s a cautious boy who’s slow to trust anyone and keeps folks at bay with snarling toughness, but underneath that wall of aggression, he’s a curious man who longs to be a part of man’s world. I find that most respectable, but much easier said than done when man has done naught but despise and reject him, often chasing him with guns and arrows only to end up as human exhibits made of nothing but lapis lazuli."
"It took, me time to get through to him, but he eventually accepted the offer to join AK Academy, the perfect place to connect with those like him and learning all there is to becoming part of the monkey world....however it lasts."
POWER-UP: LAPIS BREATH
"A gift he saw as a curse, Lapis Dracule lives up to part of his super name by converting any object or living being into lapis lazuli with a single breath coming out of his mouth hole."
"In addition to his most notable ability, Percy can also do whatever a dragon can do, be it soaring into the sky with his wings, tearing into metal with his scaly claws or even sensing hidden threats."
"However, he cannot control his main power on his own, often wearing a mask that contains his Lapis Breath and keeps his allies safe."
SUPPORT TOOL: IRON FACE
"An iron mask designed to contain Lapis Dracule’s deadly breath when he’s not in battle. Even so, it has a filter he can toggle between on and off, letting him take breathes that do not harm others or concentrate his breath towards enemies."
"He also carries an electronic bomb containing puffs of Lapis Breath that turn crowds into lapis lazulli once the safety switch is off."
FUN FACTS:
1) The concept behind Lapis Dracule was inspired by the myths of Medusa, who turned people to stone(sight), and King Midas turning anything to gold(touch). Dracule was created to have a curse centered around the sense of taste, with his ability coming from his mouth instead of a touch or look.
2) He’s curious and often fond of playing music, particularly rock and soft music. He would play it with hopes of reaching out to more people and bridging gaps between humans and superhuman, a perfect union.
3) When he’s feeling particularly nasty, he flies out to nearby cities at night and spreads the fear of Medusa into the hearts of city residents.

Entering English class, he makes his way towards his table and takes a seat. He glances at the clock and sees there's still time to relax before the teacher enters the classroom so he takes out a sketchbook and draws robotic skull imagery.

This werewolf is one with the shadows as he lurks in the darkest corners as he watches you admire the symbols of nostalgia, keeping track of your scent and growling as he waits. You don't hear it, but you FEEL like you're not truly alone as your hairs raise and you feel cold as your senses work into overdrive."
"You better stick to the light, for this wolf can command the shadows, quickly moving from one space to another through this shadow dimension and restraining his victims with globs of shadow. What he cannot do is reach into the light, for it burns into his fur and it feels like an agonizing flame roaring within the body. Should you get too close to the dark, Mr. Shadow will grab you and drag you down into his kingdom as you feel claws cutting into your skin, organs popping out of your body and your body turning cold as your consciousness fades....into nothing."

Alright so for everybody reading this, the Stone Reaper is VERY much based on Samfry523's own persona that you can see in his PFP. Why, he suggested it and so I designed the monster by taking design elements from his Maple Story avatar.
