So what I came up with was that within every 3 months, if you are born there then you get that power. For example, if born in January, February, March you get Solid Manipulation, and the next three months you get liquids, and so on and so forth. The days determine what variation of the power you get. For example, January 1 gives you earth manipulation. I feel like I'm missing something important! What flaws do you see in this system?

@Saspeaa123 I felt it was limited too, I based it off of Avatar series where they all have only like 4 powers and like 1 or two variations from it (Water can make ice, Fire benders can make lightning, Earth benders can bend metal, etc). In other words, I'm making a "hard magic" system so it has to be consistent and reliable. You'd think this wouldn't be a problem, but evidently there's like not many variations on the Solid, Liquid, Plasma, Gas, pages, so this is pretty stupid 😆

Avatar has chi which is closely related to spirituality (hence why they can manipulate spirits in the show, project from their bodies, ect)

He's been shown to be far more powerful than all other heroes, capable of oneshotting Dr Manhattan (a character based on Captain Atom lol) after Manhattan casually soloed all superheroes on DC earth. Silver Surfer was never meant to be that powerful, his job is to be a messenger and put exposition in the text, which is why he gets wrecked by Thor so bad and even in his own comics he gets defeated often because he's not actually that powerful. He has potential to be really powerful, but mostly it's just all talk, and he uses his powers on miscellaneous things instead of actual fights where he could die.

Energy manipulators have this thing called "auras" where they emanate their inner power generated from within. Is there an equivalent with matter manipulation?
Well, I'm just trying to be honest and logical. The telepaths in DBverse are objectively fodder to the non-fodder telepaths in DC/Marvel, based on what they've done. For example, Babadi can tap into the minds of a whole planet simultaneously and send visions, so he's very powerful telepath in DB. But in Marvel he'd be around low mid-tier in power, that's kind of a basic feat for non-fodder (no disrespect for Bababi he's a cool little dude). For perspective, Emma Frost, Rachel Grey, and Psylocke is on that level, and they'd still get annihilated by a bald guy in a wheelchair...
Named superheroes aren't random telepaths though. Especially not Professor X. They all have feats, not just braindead scaling like in DBZ. This argument only came up because you have a problem with the idea that hax in other universes can't just be powered through like in DBZ, and since you don't read comics you thought the people I originally described (Martian Manhunter, Professor X, etc) were "random telepaths" (I never mentioned anyone else tbf). Please try to do at least some research on the character you're arguing against. I remember someone thinking that Vampire Hunter D was just an edgy fodder vampire with a sword, and simply couldn't fathom the idea that he can wreck a galaxy+ level being.
Again, Galactus and Spectre can destroy the universe too, it doesn't matter how powerful you are. You either have enough telepathic resistance, or you don't. Because "random mind controllers" stomp uber powerful guys all the time. The Spectre would wreck everyone in DB, removing them from existence, because they only have raw power and that's it, while he has hax.
But back to square one, TP resistance feats? Martian Manhunter effected beings like Perpetua who is straight up omniversal, (she even created the "first" multiverse).
They don't. The tiny amount of resistance they have is so small that it's basically non existent. Again, just because you can block your little brother's punches doesn't mean you can block a rpg missile and that also doesn't mean that your weak little human arms count as "resistance" since you aren't resisting shit
You can destroy a million solar systems, and have zero mind resistance. Thanos and Moondragon was able to get into Galactus mind. Odin matched him longer. All are way weaker than Galactus, a casual galaxy buster.
