I'm honestly a sucker for abilities with limitless potential, so I'd likely salivate over being able to develop power.
Also, it'd be pretty funny to smack people with the most random of shapes.
@Cresxatr Ok
(@Cresxatr Are we supposed to? It's a wiki discussion board, not a real life gathering.)
(@Cresxatr I believe you miss understood the offer. Nothing about their offers said you were limited to using it once. White simply stated that the stronger the character you transform into, the more time you'll have between transformations.
Black erases everything about you prior to this dream, which includes memories. So you'll most likely won't be able to achieve whatever you've planned with this power, just an empty husk that knows they have this power.
TLDR; Black's offer might be better than White's in terms of power, but you could end up forgetting everything about yourself before you can even use it.)
Personal Illusion
Mess with people by having them perceive stairs that aren't actually there, making them trip on air.
(@Can Perk Got a discord? There's something I'd like to share with you when I get the chance)
(Gotcha)
(So...where's the RP gonna take place?)
(@Can Perk Hang on, if what you say is true, then if my character about this from experimentation. Then I might be able to pass off my bargain as an ability itself to other wielders.
Example:
"What's your power?"
"To detect powers."
True)
(@Can Perk (or however I'm supposed to mention you) That works. If I'm able to know who accepted their deals at a glance, I'll at the very least anticipate if they're a threat or not. Helps with Death sense viewed as percentages.)
(@Can Perk Well that's true, but I'll only be able to see the threat by seeing the probabilities of those around me. When I made that bargain, I was thinking of being able to see others who accepted the androgynous figure's offer. Like being able to sense who has power without them needing to 'activate' it. If someone else has clairvoyance, I want to be able to know they have it from a glance, not them telling.
But hey, since I didn't specify my bargain enough, I'll have to see how my bonus plays out)
(I'm curious on how my bargain will work. Won't gain anything from saving or killing people, but I want to know how I'll perceive potential threats)
Recalling the events that recently occurred in the dream.
Realizes the ambiguity of their bargain.
"Fuck"
"I'd like to take Black's offer, along with the addition of being able to know who else met you, before and after my meeting with you."
Edit: Grammar
Those smiles...they peer into my soul
Their offers on the ability don't fall outside of what I had expected. I never planned on seeing my own percentage anyways.
But what they've offered as a whole somewhat bothers me. Why is it that White's offer is more favorable than Black's, for all the wrong reasons too,
White's offer makes up for what Black lacks, so it'd make sense to go for White's, but it also incentivizes killing.
As favorable as it sounds...
"I'd like to add to one of your offers."
"So...anything with a twist? Is that right?" I whisper to myself.
If anything, the offer it and of itself is a wolf in sheep's clothing. There's no way I can leave without getting everything I want. There are restrictions for sure since they're making an offer.
Though I am inclined to trust the figure in white, not everything is what it seems. So I can only see the 2 as equally untrustworthy.
Once you get back, you just…live your life
If what they say is true, then I'll be able to pick up wherever I left off with whatever they give me. Insurmountable wealth seems like a good choice, however...
My friend and I have a game we want you to help us play.
I doubt that's what they're after. If it's a game they want to play, it's a game they'll get.
I make my decision.
"The ability to perceive the likelihood of others' deaths as a percentage in real-time."
-Inspired by a Reddit post I saw one time.
Under the assumption that no one's out for your blood, then I'd definitely go with Technopathy. I've been enough Mech-X4 so know how awesome and viable it would be,
If you know what you're doing, then telekinesis is capable of beating all the other options. For precognition, just execute an attack they can't dodge, like collapsing the ground beneath your opponent's feet. For Golden Touch, keep distance using your Telekinesis, severe a limb if needed. For Technopathy, find and destroy the machine's power source.
A lot of these answers are better suited to the question "What powers do you want when you wield Desired Ability Manifestation."
So let's do a nerf and apply this rule: "The ability to manifest the image in your mind is proportionate to your mental ability to understand that image."
All of these answers are basically invalid.
