@Archangel Ragna Grimm Even if he can't survive in space, earth has massive bodies of water to drown him in, and as you said he can always throw him into space. I am only assuming that he would laser him and crush his heart to make him go lose consciousness. After which he be easy to handle while his body begins to heal.

Brightburn just needs to laser Wolverine's eye, burning off his face, crushing his heart while flying him to space and leaving him there for a long while.
