Do y'all think that Kylo Ren should have been the main villain of Rise of Skywalker?
@Neosaiyan7 That's what I meant. Do what Luke Skywalker did and build a better Jedi order. Learn from their mistakes. Incorporate essential things from the Sith.
@Neosaiyan7 I am fully aware that the Jedi has their own faults. They repress emotions too much and forbids having connections. As for the Grey Jedi, the terminology doesn't matter. What does is the equal combination of Jedi and Sith teachings into one cohesive whole. True balance.
@TheDevil7777 I was thinking something more along the lines of what Togainu no Chi has.
Why not go the Battle Royale route? XD
@TheDevil7777 Until I can come up with a better answer, in order for someone to get a reality-altering wish, they must first complete a series of challenges. The task can be as simple as beating a video game to as difficult as accepting yourself.
The God of Chaos.
@TheDevil7777 I love many things besides Star Wars! XD
@Neosaiyan7 I guess that I feel like the plot of the movie was rushed. It didn't make sense to build Kylo Ren up as a villain and then make him a hero at the last moment. It wasn't earned. Rey should be a Grey Jedi who balances the Light and the Dark within herself. She should learn from the mistakes of the Jedi like Luke did after Return of the Jedi. Jedi should be allowed to form attachments but learn how not to give into their anger if something happens. Use that anger constructively.
@Neosaiyan7 It's certainly possible that I hate more elements of the movie than I realize.
@Neosaiyan7 I want some aspects of the movie to be kept, like Finn possibly being Force sensitive, and maybe the Palpatine connection (I'm unsure), but yeah, Duel of the Fates would be a great Star Wars movie to see!
@Neosaiyan7 From Marvel? I haven't seen anything that I have disliked yet. If it's Star Wars, then definitely Rise of Skywalker. They should have let Kylo Ren be the main villain instead of redeeming him like they did with his grandfather Anakin. If they wanted to resurrect Palpatine, they should have sowed the seeds in this movie and let it happen naturally. Sure, the fight between Rey and her granddad was cool, and I don't particularly mind her being a Palpatine, but still, let her grapple with the implications of being the granddaughter of the Emperor over time.
@Neosaiyan7 Exactly! I want to prove to my wife that Marvel still puts out good content. I respect that she doesn't like everything new, unlike me (though there are Marvel shows I need to watch, like Secret Invasion), but I want to enjoy that particular fandom together. She knows that I want to watch every new Marvel movie that comes out. Hell, I want to see Jurassic World: Rebirth! The last Jurassic World movie was kinda meh, but I liked the other two! I even like Quantumania. XD
@TheDevil7777 I think they are! 😊
@Neosaiyan7 No, that is entirely incorrect. I have enjoyed all of Marvel's latest TV shows and movies. Thunderbolts* was funny as fuck and I enjoyed Bob and Yelena's relationship. Loki is something that even my wife wants to watch, and she's the one who doesn't like what Marvel has put out recently. I'm not even sure if she'll go with me to see the Fantastic Four movie. I hope she does. 😞
@TheDevil7777 It's an awesome power, man! 😀
I don't think they butchered everything. Just the Rise of Skywalker movie.
@Neosaiyan7 Am I not allowed to want the film to be enjoyable? I am here for an epic movie! 😀
@Neosaiyan7 I want it to be enjoyable.
@Archangel Ragna Grimm That's a rather unique way to do it.
