By the way, sorry if I seemed rude.
What would be the point of the story? I mean it isn't hard to make an even more OP characters that would be able to harm him. But then it would make things even more irrelevant.
Maybe you wanted to write cosmic horror? Then it could be the point that it is meaningless to resist such evil...
You could rename it to "overpoweredness nr09715" as it has barely anything to do with pride and is more about making the character as invulnerable and as unstoppable as it is possible for your imagination.
The attributes can also fit other sins, such as wrath, because it would mean that the character is so angry and hateful that they cannot be stopped, harmed nor controlled at all and the similar things you added to pride.
Maybe you were inspired by Escanor and wanted to make a copy of his power but didn't really understood why it works for the story?
Of course there is a possibility that you don't know who that is, well it is a quite powerful character from the anime "Seven Deadly Sins" He has the Lion's Sin of Pride. Escanor is possibly the most powerful Sin.
However if you had fun making this then I am happy for you.
Well then energy manipulation and make it the same level as the Chi aura thing.
In many cases, the most similar power to chi manipulation is energy manipulation.
Then the powers could be very similar.
It really depends on the rules. An assassin of chi users should have "chi negation". It is a must have power for a proper assassin. However I am not sure if that would be fair.
No problem, glad to know then.
Good luck on working on the story he is part of.
Congratulations on making them. Hopefully you had fun with his creation.
Sure, I could try to explain why sometimes energy blasts cause explosions and other times they make things disintegrate.
First of all, disintegration and explosion are almost the same thing. In a way disintegration is the explosion of every single tiny part of the thing, often separately. So instead of a big boom, the cells (or other things that make up the object) get their own booms each.
Both are what happens when a lot of energy is used to get rid of something, usually bto cut through it. As in they are both what happens when a target is overwhelmed by external force. It is similar to being crushed or being went through. Disintegration is what happens when the energy blasts don't meet any resistance. The energy utterly overwhelms the target, which makes it disintegrate.
Bigger explosions from energy blasts usually result from meeting resistance, something that they can't fully pass through easily at first. Essentially instead of passing through, the energy builds up until the thing that was holding bit cracks.
These "cracks" usually happen in the form of explosions. Shockwaves caused by passing through are also somewhat counted as these. The body tried to resist the force of the shot that went through it, so boom.
Sometimes the energy builds up until it expands in all directions (also an explosion) even if the target doesn't fully crack and still provides resistance. These are more likely to happen if massive amounts of energy just can't pass through.
Hopefully this helps at least a little bit. I hope that what I wrote is clear enough to understand.
I know, he could vibrate himself through most things.
That is why thought about "users of some type of intangibility could be added."
Yeah, also from other stories of Middle Earth.
They can walk through almost anything. To interact with the world properly and to be protected from some types of light they dress as dark knights.
Yes, they can pass through their armor. There is a difference between choosing not to do something and not doing that thing.
I think that users of some type of intangibility could be added.
Technically most ghosts have non-absolute version of this, I think.
Nazgul can move that way in their truer forms, which is without necessarily physical bodies... So I don't know if that counts. They are essentially fear (or dear and pain of movie version) and can walk unseen and throughout almost anything.
By the way, I do hope that my examples helped.
You can think of it that way.
You could manipulate the speed and power of shot ammunition (arrows, bullets and similar things)
By the way, if you know Hulk's power clap?
Well instead of being able to send a shockwave, you could make that it would just crush his fingers isntead.
Or you could make it even more powerful..
In addition, you could just impower almost any physical action. That is instead of twisting it's physics.
Or make something that is pushing against something to cause the things to come closer... But that is also a punch example.
You could make jumping up not work the way it should work.
Let me try to give some examples...
You could punch someone, but instead of the punched person going away, they might get pull towards from where the punch was made.
You could make something that is normally running cowards run backwards with the same motion. As in if they are running the way they always do you could make so that such running would caus them to go backwards instead.
If something is thrown at you you could that thrown thing fly the opposite direction where it was going.
You could make things that are falling to fly upwarsc (or any other direction).
That is not a phychology, it is a villain type.
Furthermore some non-dark-lords are called dark lords, such as Voldemort (a dark WIZARD) and Emperor Sheev Palpatine. So it could be harder to get common traits between them for physiology.
Dark Lords are supposed to be truly evil, but that is a villain type, not power or physiology. There can be decent and even nice dark lords in parodies and comedies, however those aren't very correct.
Unless you could define what you mean by dark lord physiology.
You might be right that such descriptions are most likely too limited for true Omnipotence. It is the only power that could be "the ability to do more than everything".
It can even do things that it can't do... At the same time. Such as creating an object so heavy that it can't lift it and it would still be able to lift it, although it can't.
Omnipotence can be even beyond infinite and absolute power. There can be different infinities. Omnipotence can be beyond infinity, or things that are infinitly beyond infinities.
