Constant fear of disappearing from existence, only to find out they're simply unable to interact with reality and can only watch while being slowly starved to death (when disappearing) all alone, in perpetual darkness and silence

What does corrupted actually mean? Is it continuously doing "evil"?
If so, what is evil? Anything that doesn't benefit the majority and that doesn't keep the already existing order of things is probably the closest definition I can come up with. In that case I wouldn't become corrupted as I wouldn't do evil for no reason
If evil is simply based off of a subjective point of view the answer will depend on said point of view
If corrupted means not trying to do the best for others, not creating a utopia where everyone's happy and doesn't have to worry anymore. In this case I guess I wouldn't be corrupted as with absolute power I would finally be able to indulge in my own selfish desires without caring about others, things that I'd love to be able to do but am incapable as strength is lacking (and the flesh is weak)
I'd probably treat things as a game doing whatever I want whenever I want, as I think anyone with absolute power will end up doing
As for what power it is, well I have no idea
It probably depends on the kind of illusion
You might say that the illusion affects your senses or it can directly affect how your brain interprets information (by directly changing how it moves around information or how important it is it stuff like that)
In both those cases the brain should remain completely normal
If instead it acts on the brain to screw with it and change how it interprets information by rewiring or something like that, the brain would effectively change
Perhaps it does things in an entirely different manner
In any case, it depends on how those illusions work

White holes aren't actually the opposite of a black hole
Nothing is pushed away from a white hole, nor matter is thrown out
