Imagine both of you get to win the "Superpower Lottery". but with different powers. While the other gets an amazing power like Perfection or Logic Manipulation, you get powers like Light Generation or Water Walking, which also are amazing, but in no way allow you to be powerful.
Which power did they get? And which do you? Will you do something? How would you feel?
Imagine this! You were just vibing and then, Larry, the God of Jobs and Taxes, appears right in front of you. He says he has noticed you are working very hard to get your dream job, so he decides to give you a superpower to make your job easier.
The rule is that you have to choose a power that is related to your dream job and that it will be helpful for it. What power are you choosing?

I once read a story where they contained a reality-warper by putting them in a prison with reality anchoring devices around them, which leaves them powerless. If all prisons did this they wouldn't stand a lot of chances!

1) You and a group of people volunteered to be a subject and recieved the serum which later awoke your dormant powers and enchanced your condition to unbelievable levels, easy peasy lemon squeezy. (Bio-Energy Manipulation + Super Soldier Physiology)
2) You and a separate group of people volunteered to be a subject and recieved the serum, but unbeknownst to all of you, it was just colored tap water or whatever. You still believe it was the real serum, so, as long as you keep believing, your powers are still there and will be more powerful, and whenever you stop believing, your powers will fade away. (Psychic Energy Manipulation + Emotion Augmentation)
3) Wheter it be a big explosion or a small mistake, you were one of the most renowned operatives and got caught in an accident envolving this experiment. The medical personnel of the foundation were quick to aid you and try to prevent any weird side effects, but the accident already made its job. (Mutation Manipulation)
4) You were one of the most renowned operatives of the foundation working on the experiment, but after some occurences, you were fired. Not being able to shallow this end, you snuck up and took some serum by yourself, then you go home and find out the effects the improper consumption of it gave you. (Quantum Mutation)
5) Gifted since childhood, you were the genius behind the creation of superpowers, and, while this does not grants you powers and you are not allowed to take the serum, you are the father/mother/parent of superpowers, you know all of their weakness and how superpowers works, along with having outstanding wits. @Heartz13 I think I'd prefer to think of both as two separate substances, but they do have some similiarities, maybe kinda like sibling forces or grandkid Ether and grandpa Chaos
I can't decide between two so I will comment about two of them...
You can be like Spider-man...but with chains! Which is much edgier and threatening :D
But seriously, you can swing with chains, restrain people, make weapons and barriers, cut chains sharp enough to become hurtful...
And there is also...
With a skilled and creative user, the possibilities are infinite for what can happen! Shapeshifting, changing sizes, you can just transform your enemies into statues of ice or set their heart on fire, and simulate a fake conjuration of objects
