Hey guys so I’ve been thinking about psionics recently regarding their powers and the potential that goes with it. In almost any form of media may it be comics, video games, or shows/movies and I’ve come to realizevhow much psionics get nerfed a lot when it comes to characters using their abilities. Like how most psions in star wars hardly use the force but can fight like no tomorrow, or marvel characters only using psionics but only in a way that hinders them from defending themselves physically without another entity chiming in to save the day. But just like normal psionics of not the highest order being just as weak as an ordinary human when its really not the case. Why is that? Are they not as powerful as people make em out to be?

I’d use my powers in a chaotic neutral vigilante way. I’d have a lines I still wouldn’t cross forsure but I’d be able to twist the rules a bit if necessary so I’m not held to a moral standard of being constantly “good”. I’d be a mix between Cheshire Cat & Merlin (the wiz)
