Anti magic nullifies magic so it’d be able to nullify everything but the jjk and hazbin/hellava stuff, and maybe the young Justice stuff but that is considered magic is it not?

Would a being of pure darkness be a cosmic being or an eldritch abomination?
Darkness limitations breakdown/“debunk” by your resident Archangel Of Darkness:
Distance, mass, precision, etc. depend upon the knowledge, skill, and strength of the user, and their power's natural limits.
This is basically just the description I gave for “bad” writing*. Its pretty self explanatory, either they know common sense and use their power properly or they don’t as to not completely break the story.
Light Manipulation, Light Generation, and other light based powers are especially effective against this power.
As shadow is a dark area produced by a body coming between rays of light and a surface, light may strengthen shadow magic or may even be a requirement in some universes.
This only really applies to shadows and not darkness, a perfect example being the darkness of space; my knowledge of light could be wrong but we only see the light of stars cause that light got trapped in our atmosphere, but actual space is a constant pure darkness, meaning while light can travel through darkness it can’t overpower/dissipate it like it can shadows.
May be unable to create darkness/shadow, being limited to manipulating only from already existing sources.
This is just a false statement as you can make shadow/darkness by just simply cupping your hands together or opening your mouth. The only way you could not create darkness/shadow is if you were a being made of light like kizaru or the light trio from pokemon(even then tho, those characters technically can produce shadows).
May have to be in sync with darkness, whether their own or the source of their power.
Imma be honest I don’t quite understand what this is actually trying to say, cause it sounds like just a reworded version of the first one but since it’s separate I assume it’s not?

And this is where my pet peeve comes in. Darkness cannot corrupt you anymore Than light or literally anything else can. If you make darkness/shadow evil, then you’re straight up a horrible and frankly unintelligent writer, full stop.
I feel like this is a “no duh” one and I don’t really have an argument for it besides maybe don’t naturally give it to a light manipulator unless they have better control over light than the darkness manipulator has over darkness. If the light manipulator is overall weaker than the darkness manipulator then they shouldn’t have this power. And even this only applies to the immunity part and not the absorption part.
*- bad writing when in quotations like this is simply just me not liking darkness manipulators being limited and not an actual judgement of said writing skills
If I had to punish people then I’d send them to a combo hell of every horrible torturous place you can think of. On some 40k shit but infinitely worse. Then for the rest of the people I give everyone their favorite powers and alter my own powers to be darkness/shadow and archangel based/focused. But make it to where no one’s powers works on me no matter what even if they have metapotence(so technically they’d have nigh-metapotence and not the true stuff)
Huntress wizard killed cosmic owl and has been stated by Finn and shown to be able to travel through dimensions and the multiverse even able to control the multiverse a bit(tho idk if she still can)

There’s only one valid reason to not like darkness powers and that’s “bad” writing. Either you give darkness manip it’s full potential and it’s just too broken for most verses or you limit it and every time a darkness manipulator fights you’re forced to question why they don’t just dura neg with the darkness inside someone when the character has shown a willingness to kill and the ability to make constructs from any source of darkness

This but with the always night Gotham effect and it spawns a 1 special fruit (which I ate) which grants the eater darkness manipulation
