Fun fact, Jane Apollo is purposefully meant to be built like a stereotypical hero, the ones who see "the goodness in everyone that refuses to kill because everyone is able to do good" only that this view is destroyed upon seeing the harsh reality of being a hero that over time evolves to oppose that stereotype by becoming the opposite, kind of.
Okay that's every character now.
Name: Jane Apollo
Alias: Radiance, Dawnmaker, Summer
Appearance:
World:
- [Operation New Order: Forwarded]
The universe that is often times mistaken for being New Order on first glance, however, an evident change makes itself clear where everything that would've happen in future existence is instead brought one step closer which is where 'Forwarded' comes in since the concept behind 'Forwarded' universes is that things meant to happen later occur earlier then typically so with an example being how the main cast receive their powers before even attending The Founder's co-operation under special, strict permission by the said Founder himself under the disguise their the elites, i.e. prodigious.
Jane in this case has becomes radically altered due to this 'Forwarded' world rather it be making him maturer due to his father dying early and therefore having to self-assign himself up as his little siblings' guardian all while still a teenager to understanding the idea behind a hero thanks to being introduced to Annabeth early to as minor as knowing how to relax from meeting Kyrah earlier. The simple idea of events happening earlier drastically change the story and the characters a whole so long as you look deep enough.
Age: 17
Personality: Jane is warm-hearted and genuinely social, always eager to connect with others, even though he’s a bit socially awkward. He often stumbles over his words or gets lost in the nuances of conversation, leading to the occasional unintended blunder. Jane has a natural kindness and a sincere desire to support others, and he’s quick to offer a helping hand, even if he sometimes overthinks how he’s coming across. His awkwardness doesn’t stop him from reaching out.
Though Jane is deeply committed to his role as a hero, he’s constantly so focused on fulfilling his duties that he rarely remembers to take time for himself. He’s a stickler for rules and responsibilities, always striving to give his best, sometimes to the point of exhaustion. Jane’s strong sense of duty can make him almost forget that relaxation is just as important, so it’s often up to his friends or allies alike to gently remind him to unwind.
When Jane finally does allow himself a moment of rest, he enjoys quiet, soothing activities, like reading or taking a peaceful stroll. It’s a rare treat for him to slow down, but he’s slowly learning to embrace those moments, knowing that they make him an even better hero in the long run.
Morality: Lawful Good/Neutral Good
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual/Heteroromantic
Powers/Abilities:
- [Starfire]
A basic fire manipulation and generation, allowing him to summon and control flames with an intense force. However, Jane’s control comes with some major limitations—he cannot adjust the temperature of his flames, which are always at maximum heat. As a result, his fire bursts forth with overwhelming intensity every time, making it difficult for him to scale back or cool down his flames.
Unlike some fire manipulators who can shape their flames or construct them into forms, Jane’s abilities are somewhat rawer and more untamed. His only real method of control is to condense the fire to increases its potency, concentrating the flames into a powerful, blazing beam. This limitation has forced him to rely on precision and careful control over where he directs his fire, making each burst a calculated move rather than a flexible tool.
Weapons/Paraphernalia: As an aspiring hero, Jane Apollo believes in the notion of redemption and compassion, which is why he doesn’t carry any weapons. He is firmly committed to the idea that he should never have to resort to lethal means to achieve his goals. Instead, Jane focuses on being a protector and a source of support for those around him. He carries an abundance of basic medical items, ensuring he’s always prepared to help others in need, whether it’s tending to injuries or providing first aid in emergencies.
In addition to his medical supplies, Jane treasures two special items gifted to him by his close friends. The first is a vibrant red scarf from Annabeth, which not only keeps him warm but serves as a reminder of her unwavering support and friendship. The second is a thick book filled with various types of jokes, given to him by Kyrah. This book is strapped to his side, providing him with a source of lightheartedness and laughter during tiring moments.
Weaknesses:
Inability to Adjust Flame Temperature: Jane Apollo's power, Starfire, is always at maximum heat, which can make it difficult to control the impact of his flames. This can lead to unintended damage or collateral effects in situations where precision is necessary.
Limited Control and Creativity: While Jane can condense his fire to increase potency, he struggles to shape it or construct it into specific forms. This limitation reduces his versatility in combat and problem-solving scenarios, making him reliant on raw power rather than strategic applications.
Overwhelming Intensity: The sheer heat of his flames can pose a risk to allies or bystanders nearby, requiring Jane to be cautious about when and where he unleashes his abilities less he harms someone.
Hopeful Idealism: Jane's unwavering hope and belief in non-lethal means can sometimes cloud his judgment in critical situations, leading him to hesitate when more aggressive action might be necessary for self-defense or the protection of others.
Neglecting Self-Care: His focus on his duties and responsibilities often leads him to neglect his own well-being. He may push himself too hard, forgetting to rest or recharge, which can leave him fatigued and less effective as a hero.
Backstory: After the sudden death of their father, who was a well-respected hero, Jane found himself thrust into the role of caretaker for his younger siblings. As the oldest brother, he felt a deep sense of responsibility to provide for them, to fill the void left by their father's absence, and to ensure they had a stable and nurturing environment despite the turmoil of their loss.
During this trying time, Jane was offered a chance to become something his father would have been proud of—a hero in his own right. He joined a training program to prepare for official membership in The Founder's Corporation, an organization dedicated to upholding justice and protecting the innocent. It was here that he met two of his closest friends, Annabeth and Kyrah. They quickly bonded over shared goals, mutual support, and the pressures of training. Together, they navigated the rigorous challenges of becoming heroes, encouraging each other to push through the tough days and celebrate the small victories.
Throughout the training period, Jane found solace in the camaraderie of his friends. Annabeth’s steadfast determination and unwavering belief in him provided the emotional strength he needed, while Kyrah’s humor and light-hearted approach helped him cope with the weight of his responsibilities. They became a tight-knit trio, each bringing their unique strengths to the table, and supporting one another through every trial.
As Jane honed his skills, his powers, Starfire, only continued to sharpen, fueled by the hope that he could honor his father’s legacy. He channeled his grief and determination into his training, driven by the desire to protect not only his siblings but also those who could not protect themselves. The memories of their father’s heroism motivated him to strive for greatness, to embody the ideals of compassion and bravery that had been instilled in him from a young age.
Finally, after a rigorous training period, Jane officially joined The Founder's corporation, ready to step into the role of hero. He faced the challenges ahead with a hopeful heart, committed to making a difference and ensuring that his father's legacy lived on through his actions. Despite the weight of his responsibilities, Jane embraced the journey, believing that together with his friends, he could create a brighter future for himself and his family.
Extra Info:
Before joining The Founder's Corporation, Jane Apollo had never witnessed death firsthand, let alone an ally or friend get grievously wounded. The loss of his father was a profound and painful experience, but it came as a shock to him, leaving him with an emotional baggage rather than the harsh reality of mortality. He was largely sheltered from the darker sides of heroism, focusing instead on training and preparing for a noble path.
- This applies to the likes of Operation Epiphany Annabeth, Operation Scorch Earth Kyrah, and Redro Wen Noitarepo Theodore as wells although Experiment Wukong: Block the Loop Blake and Operation New Order: Until the Last Dawn Thoeodore have seen their fair share of death or allies mortally injured
Sounds like something right out of The Fly.
A bit bored, so I thought why not share some antagonists who could've been in this rp should the character[protagonist] cast have been different:
"You know... It's funny... How despite all the shit you can put into a fight, in spite of all the blood you could put into a fight. You still lose, and it's all because someone became 'motivated'. Now isn't that the worst fucking joke I've ever heard."
- The Tenacious Devil's rekindling when their contract prevent death from being an option, refusing to die was the only option till he and his contractor finally reached a consensus where he'd die bringing down everyone else with him; ACT THREE.
(Nvm then.)
(You know what. We'll just continue. @Bentleybj @Rulefiji @Awsomeboi19 @NineSix96 )
(We can start should Rule be here.)
(Still waiting on the others though)
(I'm assuming everyone is busy, if so then we may have to pause the rp till tomorrow, again.)
(Too late, we'll continue tomorrow.)
(P.S. This attack reaches everyone in case the whole spreading and destroying the city plus more wasn't obvious enough.)
As Xornoth darted to the left, a blinding, pink beam tore down from above, its intensity swallowing the battlefield in a deafening roar. The beam’s sheer force shattered the ground on impact, ripping through buildings, streets, and structures alike, reducing the entire city into a whirlwind of debris and dust.
The destruction didn’t stop there. The shockwave surged outward, ripping through nearby foresting, hills, and mountains as if they were paper, the one attack expanding in an unyielding wave that seemed to consume everything in its path. The cityscape, once standing proud, disintegrated beneath the raw power, stretching onward like an endless storm of ruin, leaving only a barren wasteland in its wake.
"Who said anything about manipulating you? Nah, I'm just stating facts, and so what if I was about to die? If anything-" Noah raised his hand in front of his face, his fingers curling as his breath quickened, almost another laugh breaking out as he looked at the blood smeared across his hand. “I haven’t felt this alive in ages!”
Noah locked gaze back onto Xornoth’s, his own trembling with barely contained excitement as a slick purple liquid steadily trickled out, mirroring the exact hue of the syringe strapped to his side—the gift Theta had left behind. The liquid trailed down his face like tears only they lacked the touch of humanity.
"I'll win," Noah declared as he slashed the knife in front of him, a thin pink line reaching the ground and sky far above manifesting just in front of Xornoth.
Noah’s smirk widened into something feral as he met Xornoth’s gaze, unshaken by the taunt.
"Afraid? Oh, you're adorable," he sneered, his voice slick with scorn. "I've left gods broken and begging, watched legends crumble like wood in the fire, and here you are, barking up the wrong tree like some lost hound."
He took a slow, confident step forward, his eyes gleaming with a dark thrill as he continued, "In the grand scheme, you're just a small fry, flailing around in an ocean far too vast for you to understand. So go ahead, keep shouting, keep believing yourself as something greater. But at the end of this, all I’ll see is a speck trying to act larger than it is, swallowed whole by waters it never should’ve entered."
“You’re nothing but a shadow, a cheap imitation of true terror. Compared to what I’ve conquered, you’re laughable. You’d be outclassed even as a footnote in their stories So, come on then. If you really are a demon, then why not attack me or are you too afraid.”
(Anyway we can continue now.)
(Sorry some issues popped up and I had to help someone out.)
