I think @SleepyTact was referring to only omnipotent-level causality manipulation, not regular causality manipulation.
This is because in the description of omnipotent causality manipulation, it is stated that the user has absolute power over cause and effect in any/every/all forms and types of it.
This allows the user to absolutely induce any/every/all effects without any/every/all logical/reasonable/rational cause or set of causes.
This means that the user of omnipotent level causality manipulation can do anything, everything, and all-things without any/every/all logical/rational/reasonable causes.
So it basically looks like a scientific form of metapotence. Since causality is the science of cause and effect, It is a rational explanation for omnipotence since almost anything and everything requires causality to work.
The only exceptions to this are true omnipotence, forms/expressions/derivatives/variants/aspects/types/techniques/applications/associations of true omnipotence, and things that exist above/outside of causality.
They can simply make the multiverse perfectly stable forever and then make themselves no longer bound by that condition with the use of their omnipotence, thus no longer having their omnipotence conditional anymore.
I think you should read this, as this is the reason why.
It honestly depends on your own view of conditional omnipotence. As you can see, everyone has their own view on it, just like how everyone has their own view on true omnipotence.
To me, it requires a condition for it to be omnipotence. Let me say that a user of this power must sit on a chair that grants it omnipotence. Once the condition is met, then the user is omnipotent.
Of course, if they decide to no longer sit on the chair, they might lose their omnipotence, but there is nothing stopping them from just sitting back on the chair again and regaining their omnipotence, then using it to make themselves unbound by any condition for them to be omnipotent.
So they have made themselves truly omnipotent, as they no longer require any condition to be omnipotent anymore as they make themselves unbound by any condition of being omnipotent.
This is possible because this power has a loophole in it that would allow the user to become truly omnipotent permanently and completely without needing any conditions or requirements to be so.
However, it is noted that this power is very contradictory; it might be more so than true omnipotence and any/all/every truly omnipotent powers as well as forms, expressions, variants, aspects, techniques, applications, associations, and types of true omnipotence.
I don't think you can rewrite the laws of physics with this power since it would require powers that completely defy reality, physics, logic, existence, possibility, etc.
Furthermore, even if you had infinite intelligence, that doesn't mean you have the power to defy logic itself. You are still bound by the laws and resources available of your reality and the universe.
We don't really know if our universe has things that can bypass the laws it has.
You could theoretically create technology that could bypass the laws of reality, but how would you get the materials needed to do that?
We don't have the materials or resources to do so in this reality.
It could require literal forms, expressions, aspects, variations, types, techniques, associations, and applications of true omnipotence or reality-warping in order to do this.
Pretty much any/every/all omnipotent powers and true omnipotence would be able to allow you to do anything, everything and all-things without any/every/all limits.
Pretty much, yes.
Personally, I do believe that there may be something that is beyond the omniverse. For me, that would be the Totality since it is absolutely anything, everything, all-things, and nothing, so it would also contain absolutely anything, everything, all-things, and nothing, like, for example, an truly absolute infinite or truly absolute trans-infinite amount of omniverses, etc.
Of course, I do believe that there are things that are beyond the Totality such as truly omnipotent beings, metapotent beings, omnilocked things, absolute transcendent things, beings who have absolute freedom, beings who have irrational indeterminacy, beings who have omni defiance, beings who have impossipotence, etc.
Merry Christmas! 😊
So yeah, they can both co-exist with each other, just like an omnipotent being can co-exist with a nigh-omnipotent being, or how multiple metapotent/ultipotent beings can exist at the same time and be different beings from each other.
Yes, selective transcendence can achieve absolute transcendence since it has full control over its transcendence, limitations, boundaries, weaknesses, and hierarchies.
So they can choose to transcend all their limitations, boundaries, and weaknesses all at once to achieve absolute transcendence.
You could see selective transcendence as an absolute transcendent being limiting themselves.
Merry Christmas to everyone in this wiki, I hope everyone here have a happy new year!😊
Having no emotions means you don't have any motivations, resolutions, determinations, passions, desires, feelings, wants, ambitions, dreams, drives, etc.
Since these things require emotions to exist,.
You would be an empty husk if you didn't have emotions. Sure, they are flawed, but flaws are one of the important things that make us who we are.
Without emotions, you wouldn't be you anymore.
Even if you try to regain your emotions.
Are you really sure that you would want your emotions back because you would lack the desire to do so?
Another reason why superheroes are impossible in real life is because we humans are bound by things such as physics, logic, etc.
Meaning humans can't achieve that level of power no matter what. It is just physically impossible to do so.
Superheroes are able to have these kinds of powers because they are defying or ignoring physics, logic, etc.
Or because of some higher power, or because the plot itself allows it to happen.
Even if you have a superhuman level of intelligence, you would never reach it due to being bound by physics, logic, etc.
You would need some kind of physics, logic, or reality-defying power in order to allow something like superheroes or becoming a superhero in real life to be possible.
To me, I think that any omnipotent powers, like omni-manipulation, shouldn't need any advanced knowledge for them to work.
This is because omnipotent powers, in general, are inherently beyond things such as logic/illogic, reason/unreason, rationality/irrationality etc.
The only "reasonable" limit to them is true omnipotence; unless the users of omnipotent powers or the omnipotent powers themselves are truly omnipotent, then they are equal to it.
Merry Christmas and have a nice Christmas evening, everyone!😊👍🧑🎄🎄
The first power I ever edited in this wiki was this,
The reason is that one of the mods asked how this power is different from unique physiology, I didn't respond to them because I thought the power was quite different from unique physiology already.
So I decided to add a small paragraph on how is this power different from unique physiology just in case, it gets deleted, which is the second paragraph in the capabilities section. If you want to see.
Besides, I think this power is quite interesting, original and unique. It is also one of my favourite powers.
Both powers are equal if we are talking about the irrational version of indeterminacy since they are both omnipotent. So this is more a matter of preference than power.
I choose indeterminacy (the irrational one, if that is possible) because both of them are beyond absolute anything, everything, all-things, and nothing.
This is because irrational indeterminacy is beyond all scaling, tiering, measurements, limits, etc., meaning it is beyond the totality though this because the totality is just absolutely anything, everything, all-things and nothing.
Totality is also tier itself when we are talking about power scaling, like omniverse, multiverse, etc.
The reason why I choose irrational indeterminacy is because I wouldn't lose my personality, sense of self, emotions, desires, etc., unlike absolute transcendence, which would lose these things since it would transcend emotions, self, personality, desires, etc.
While it is true that both are beyond the Totality but nothing in irrational indeterminacy would apply to the fact that I would lose my sense of self, personality, emotions, desires, etc.
You could say that with absolute transcendence, you can regain it all due to being beyond absolutely anything, everything, all-things and nothing but would you have the desire to regain it all back?
Besides, I think irrational indeterminacy is cooler, more interesting and more unique than absolute transcendence.
Sorry for the late and long answer.
Rational indeterminacy is equal to the totality because it is beyond all scaling, tiering, measurement, and limits except those that defy logic, reason, and rationality.
So it can't do things like achieve omnipotence, be beyond omnipotence, be smarter than omniscient, be faster than omnipresence, be beyond totality, beyond infinity, etc.
The reason it can't do those things is because it is bound by logic.
While irrational indeterminacy is beyond all/every/any tiering, scaling, measurements, logic, reason, rationality, sensibility, possibility, probability, plausibility, feasibility, conceivability, fathomability, conception, imagination, understanding, comprehension, categorization, limits, boundaries, categories, types, calculations, classifications, descriptions, explanations, justifications, meanings, definitions, purpose, etc., trans-infinitum and beyond,.
So by default, it would be completely and totally beyond, above and outside absolutely anything, everything, all-things and nothing.
While also completely and totally transcend, surpass and exceed absolutely anything, everything, all-things and nothing.
It also completely and totally defy and ignore absolutely anything, everything, all-things and nothing.
I know it sounds like nonsense, but irrational indeterminacy is nonsense because it is beyond logic, like any/every/all omnipotent powers usually are.
Okay, here goes nothing. Be warned that I am not that creative.
I got
Mysticism Combat | Superpower Wiki | Fandom
Mythic Location Manipulation | Superpower Wiki | Fandom
So I will try to combine these powers to form a new one.
So the power will be called Combative Mystic Location
This power is a variant of personal domain
This power is to possess/have a combative mystic location in which the user created it, was born with it, inherited it or gained it through trial/training/hard work.
This power allows its user to transport others or themselves into a combative mystical location that is completely controlled and owned by the user of this power.
This location empowers the user and serves the user like it will give the user weapons, tools, resources, armour etc if the user requires it.
The main function and purpose of this power is to provide a place for the user that allows the user to have a better advantage at mystically fighting others or training themselves mystically.
This location provides divine and magical powers to its user, however it is only specialized in divine and magical powers.
It also allows the user to learn divine and magical powers but only divine and magical powers.
Of course, the type of divine and magical powers that they can learn and master are only combat types since this mystic location specialises in combat not defence or support.
The location can't provide powers that are defensive or supportive nor can it provide powers that are not magical or divine.
The user only has access to magical and divine powers but not powers that are not divine or magical.
This location is unable to use scientific powers or powers that are beyond, outside to not a part of divine and magical nature.
Users of this power could provide aid to their allies and friends by either sharing the divine and magical powers of the location or transporting them to the combative mystic location for training purposes.
The combative mystic location would gain sentience and sapience of its own either through itself by evolving or the user gains it.
This allows the location to provide better support to the user than before however it is still limited to combative purposes since this mystic location is combat-orientated.
Of course, the combative mystic location could become evil because it has its sentience and sapience now so it could have its desires and motives. Which would allow it to try to manipulate its users.
If the user link/bond/connection to the combative mystic location is removed/negated/destructed/erased then the divine and magical powers of the user could weaken.
If the combative mystic location is destructed/erased then the divine and magical powers that it has would be lost and the powers it gives to its user could be gone.
But the powers that the user naturally has or has gained/developed by itself without the location will remain.
Of course, the user could recreate/restore their combative mystic location but it could take time depending on the level of the user and what level the destruction/erasure was.
High-level users of this power could extend and expand their combative mystic location into the real world or the physical world but locally.
Users of this power could have infinite magical, divine and combative potential but it is only limited by magical, divine and combat.
