Spiritually, he embodies the idea that conquering the ego brings peace: as the Buddha taught, “happy are those who have overcome their egos; happy are those who have attained peace". In effect, his pride becomes a source of dignity, not arrogance. There is also a sense of cosmic justice: this power might feel like a divine gift that tests balance. In Greek mythology, Nemesis punishes excessive hubris, suggesting that if the Throneless King ever misuses his pride, fate itself might intervene.
More concretely, this power connects ego with inner peace through ritual and meditation. The user might meditate before battle, drawing calm from within. C.S.
