To begin, you’ll need to pick your class, which will shape your journey. Here are the basics:
Warrior
Warriors are masters of combat and strength. Whether it’s swinging a mighty sword, wielding a battle axe, or mastering martial arts, they are symbols of raw power. If you pick this class, you could explore sub-classes like Samurai or even something more unconventional like a Boxer, where raw physicality and skill are key.
Rogue
This class is all about stealth, trickery, and cunning. Rogues excel in the shadows—whether it’s thievery, assassination, or just outsmarting your enemies. There are sub-classes like Ninja, but ultimately it’s your choice how far down the rogue path you want to go. And if you want to mix in some warrior skills, you can blend them together.
Mage
Mages harness the forces of nature and the elements, bending them to their will. This class allows you to manipulate magic and shape reality itself through spells. Sub-classes like Cultivators, Sorcerers, or Shamans are possibilities. If you’re thinking about blending this with warrior skills, it’ll be a challenge, but you could still create something like a Mage Warrior.
Priest
Not quite like a mage, priests draw their power from divine forces. Rather than spellbooks and rituals, priests rely on their faith and belief in the gods. You’ll have access to healing, protection, and divine power—blessed not by the manipulation of magic, but by the strength of your convictions.
Beast Master
A Beast Master has a deep connection to the creatures of Ethos. Tame beasts, command them, and use their powers in your own battles. If you’ve always wanted to befriend wild creatures and bend them to your will, this is the class for you.
Artificer
Artificers are the engineers, inventors, and builders of the world. Not a combat-focused class, but it’s one that gives you the knowledge and tools to craft gadgets, machines, and possibly even magical devices. You’ll have a higher understanding of complex texts and technologies that others might struggle with.
Psychic
Psychics are beings of the mind. They manipulate mental energy, using psionic powers to control the world around them. Think telekinesis, mind control, or even mental illusions. They’re not fighters in the traditional sense, but their mental prowess can turn the tide of battle in strange and powerful ways.
Archetypes are flexible.
These classes are just the starting point, and you can mix and match elements from different ones to create your own unique path. You’re not bound to one specific archetype—you can blend them to fit your personal style of play.
