User is not limited to just the average range of enhanced hearing, they can hear everything that goes on in the world, or even the entire galaxy, or maybe the entire universe. They can do more than just hear everything that goes on, they can hear the thoughts of anyone and everyone (not to be confused with Telepathy) and hear voices of the dead giving the user the ability of Communing. The user can bypass time itself and can hear the future and past.
