- To prevent harmful side effects, the user may have to limit the amount of time "amped up," which could range from seconds to minutes.
- Turning off may cause severe exhaustion, and if they had succumbed to pain when they were "amped up," they would have immediate, if not crippling, exposure to pain.
- Adrenaline can affect one's emotions, including rage, so the user can experience emotional instability or uncontrollable rage when through excessive use and left unchecked.
