As a Hyperadrenal, Bill Harken (Alphas) can activate his adrenaline at will to enhance his speed and strength.
As a result of an experimental medical procedure, adrenaline flows unchecked through Peyton Westlake/Darkman's (Darkman) body, enhancing his strength and rendering him unable to feel pain, but also destabilizing his emotional output.
Darkseekers (I Am Legend) possess enhanced speed, strength, and endurance due to their adrenal glands being constantly active.
Giant Bowser (Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story) is the result of Bowser triggering a massive burst of adrenaline.
When Peter Parker/Spider-Man's (Marvel Comics) spider-sense is triggered, his body begins to produce more adrenaline.
With Adrenaline Surge, Alex Mercer (Prototype) gains access to temporary invulnerability and a single Devastator when near-death.
The Kawatche Parasites (Smallville) cause excessive adrenaline and enlarging of the adrenal glands in their hosts, causing the hosts to behave impulsively and act on any latent desires or aspirations.
