A user with this ability either is or can transform into a Akuchu, a microscopic yokai that resembles a tiny insect with six sharp claws which it uses to strongly grasp onto a victim's spleen, from the spleen it steals any food the victim eats, causing them to rapidly lose weight and receive very little nourishment as a result.

- Infections can be easily cured with mokko (Chinese medicine made from a species of thistle).
