The characters are alpha alien: a specific extraterrestrial being who are superior member of their race, beings who are pinnacle alien beings possess great powers that most members do not as well represent I’ve of their entire species. Unlike most aliens, the alpha alien may possess unimaginable skill(s) and fearsome powers, and they will command legions of lesser aliens.
These extraterrestrial lords are gifted with form of superiority that goes beyond most member and possibility beyond their own race of alien lifeforms to practically every other member of alien life as they have a status so advance makes them relatable to transcendent aliens, enhanced with natural and exotic qualities that isn’t so easily found in most world.
Due to their higher form of superior nature, alpha aliens have an extraordinary potential to go in world beyond their own and can exceed any species in the universe grow all the stronger for it, capable of destroying world and rebuild them to however they see fit with or without advance technology making them.

The Xenomorph Queens (Alien series) are obvious rulers to the Xenomorph race as a whole, and they are responsible for the life cycle of the aforementioned Aliens. They are overprotective and extremely aggressive towards other races, like Humans, and especially the Yautja, which are also Aliens.
The Gonarch (Hλlf-Life) is a massive Alien queen that rules exclusively over the Headcrabs. Aside from the prefix that leads directly to a word describing a male Human’s private area, the Gonarch’s name is a combination of that, as well as the word monarch, which fits her well, as well as her position within the Headcrab race.
While he might look like a massive Alien Controller that rules over the said kinds of Aliens, the Nihilanth (Hλlf-Life) is a powerful Xen overlord that rules over all the inhabitants of Xen. He is so powerful that he can overwhelm Gordon to the point of reaching his limits.
At the top of the hierarchy of the Combine, the Combine Advisors/Shu'ulathoi (Hλlf-Life 2 series) are known to be overlords that masterminded the invasion against humanity ever since the resonance cascade disaster at Black Mesa.
