― Martian Manhunter on the Joker (JLA # 15)
"Talking with Rin is like playing chess with a supercomputer who does seemingly random moves as if to mock everything you know about chess. It's like that, but with human interaction. And even if I win, it feels like losing."
― Hisao Nakai (Katawa Shoujo)
"Peeking inside this girl’s mind will only trap you in a psychedelic world. Alice’s world is like a bottomless pit that can bring only tragedy to those who experience it."

"Are we gonna need a protractor?"
"No."
"An abacus?"
"Literally never."

The power to possess a mind so alien that it is incompatible with normal minds. Sub-power of Eldritch Physiology and Madness Embodiment. Lesser version of Fathomless Mind.

Capabilities[]

The inner workings of the user's mind differ greatly from what could be considered "normal" or "sane" by the standards of most living things. Possible causes include being descended from an eldritch being, suffering from severe mental problems or being infused with chaotic forces.

This condition has several beneficial effects, as the differences between the mind of the user and normal people give them immunity to mental or dream based powers of all kinds. Powers such as Telepathy or Mind Control will at best, not work on the user, and at worst, backfire. Anyone foolish enough to invade the user's Inner World will find it an uninhabitable deathtrap. Even using Mental Shield Penetration on the user can be dangerous as their thoughts might start leaking and infecting anyone nearby.

Limitations[]

  • Users of Indomitable Will may be highly resistant and can endure the users mind for some time before breaking down, while users of Fathomless Mind are likely immune to the negative effects.
