The power in which detached body parts take on life forces on their own. Not to be confused with Induced Animation.

Capability

A removed hand or leg can climb or jump on its own. sometimes the body part can hover on its own (though that does not mean they have the power of telekinesis), and the user can mentally direct the direction they want it to go. Such as making their shin fly towards someones stomach, make their head "jump" to avoid a hit to the face, or floating their hand through a door to grab somthing on the other side of the door.

Makes them immune to cutting and being slashed, for they can just pull their bodies back together again, and they will not bleed to death nor will the body die with out their brain or heart. though that does not make getting cut hurt less. But of course this can work to the advantage of the user if the opponent does not realize they have this power.

An advanced form of this power allows one to not only control ones limbs but the lims of people who had lost their limbs as well, though it only works if the limb they want to control is no longer attached to a living person.

Immortals have the basics of this power, or can just seperate their limbs and then reatach them without any permenant harm.

Associations

Frequently accompanied with Body Part Substitution; May also assist Immortality.

  • Cephalophore is a sub-verison of this ability.

Limits

Anitomical liberation

Buggy (One Piece) using his detatched limbs as weapons.

Can survive slashings, dismemberments, and being torn apart, but they are just as vunerable to pysical harm as a normal human. Can still feel pain when cut, and can be struck or punched and still harmed.

If limbs are seperated too far from each other, the user may not be able to control the limbs.

If the user has any other abilities, the user could be unable to use them if they are missing a limb, and may only use their other powers to their fullest extent until the pieces are rejoined.

Techniques

Most can perform:

  • "Anatomical Recall”: To summon missing body parts.
  • Anatomical duplication- a highly advanced technique that would allow the part seperated, (an arm or hand) and allow a whole being to grow from that limb much like a star fish, the removed limb would be able to move and "think" on its own inbetween seperation and Duplication. while at the same time the lost limb regrows back on the original.
