Also Called[]

  • Apport/Apporting
  • Psionic/Psychic Apportation
  • Psychic Translocation
  • Remote Psychic Teleportation

Capabilities[]

Users possess the psychic ability to transport targets and bring it somewhere else almost instantaneously and even from unknown sources through the power of the mind, and without regard for physical barriers and/or spatial differences. This type of psychic teleporter is able to effect animate and inanimate objects, and even sentient beings through the use of teleportation energies, causing things to appear suddenly and in some cases mysteriously arrive through their will or even subconsciously alone, which may require the passage through other material objects acting as a conduit to function correctly, acting as a form a possession or storage of another object or energy.

Apportation can also be used through magic practitioners as well as psychics as it is also a technique of conjuration. Focused and stronger users are able to dematerialization and subsequently reintegrate objects they summon back with ease from where they came from. In the way of mediums and spiritualists, this is an incredibly rare gift/technique among them, enabling them to manifest spirits from the other side. More powerful spiritual entities like angels, demons, deities and the like are also able use this ability through spiritual powers through their minds.

Unlike remote teleportation which is the ability to teleport matter from one location to another without physical contact, and is commonly confused due to their functional similarities and is accessed through all kinds of means, such reality warping, molecular and energy manipulators and magic users; whereas apportation is a psychic version of this ability, using psychic/psionic energies, that can also be accessed through magical and spiritual means as it uses the mind to focus the ability, making apportation a less versatile version of remote teleporting, due to it's limited ways it can be accessed, however that isn't to say it's less powerful, only in it's versatility.

Limitations[]

  • Concentration and focus can play a huge part in this power which could cause it not to work properly.
  • Indomitable Will: Users of this type will possibly master this power completely, which makes this a huge limitation as not all users possess incredible wills to be able to do so.
  • Unfocused and weaker users may have difficultly dematerializing and reintegrating objects they summon back to where they came from.
  • Psionic Negation
  • Teleportation Negation
