Users possess the ability to become or acclimate the traits a higher class of Imp. One who is particularly tinged by an essence of dominions pertaining to a more exotic nature than what they are used to. Arch imps are a simpler minded yet highly rambunctious form of Imp who undergo mutagenic transitions, bestowing them with incredulous amounts of magical power and the intuitive insight to use it.
Their physiologies vary from subject to subject but what remains constant, like with their lesser brethren, they remain as wild and uncontrollable as ever. In point of fact being able to invert whatever enthralling charms cast upon them by witches & wizards.
This is due to their spiritual quintessence being so powerful that those who attempt to isolate and bind them as familiars usually suffer a rebound effect. The caster being enslaved to a great imp instead of the other way around.
