The archetype of an ascended demon. Variation of Demon Physiology and Ascended. Opposite to Fallen Angel. Not to be confused with Transcendent Demon Physiology.

Properties

Ascended demons are essentially the opposites of fallen angels: demons that have either committed actions deemed which caused them to ascend from moral disgrace through exhilaration, were purified by unnatural causes, rebelled against Hell or were exalted by divine/transcendent causes.

It should be noted, however, that ascended demons are rare and aren't deemed necessarily good, benevolent and virtuous, but most of them can be neutral or evil depending on their personality traits and actions.

Similarly to fallen angels, based on their moral alignment, a demon’s wings and horns will either start to change from black to pure white and their demonic powers problably might wane significantly, although stronger demons can still retain their demonic abilities, even if it’s minimal, if they'd been purified by higher/supreme divine sources or committed acts deemed virtuous that thus caused them to ascend from moral disgrace.

  • In other cases, demonic powers may weaken over time before being lost completely.
• Unholy Aversion: In a few cases, once upon ascension, demons who attain solace in sacred demonium they can/may be harmed by the ungodly.
