The archetype for characters that possess or have traits of an astrologer.

Properties[]

As an archetype, an astrologer is someone who practices astrology, which involves studying the positions and movements of celestial bodies like stars and planets to interpret their influence on human affairs and natural events. Astrologers create and analyze astrological charts, also known as birth charts or horoscopes, which map the positions of celestial bodies at a specific time and place, usually at the time of a person’s birth. Astrologers use these charts to provide insights into a person’s personality, potential life events, and relationships. They can specialize in various branches of astrology, such as natal astrology (focused on individual life paths), synastry (relationship compatibility), and predictive astrology (forecasting future trends)also has the ability to predict the future through various mediums of divination, such as: tarot cards, crystal balls, etc. Similar to clairvoyants,prophets, oracles, or diviners, the user may or may not possess psychic gifts that include extrasensory perception, precognition and other psionic abilities, as well as powerful divining abilities/talents to gain information of the future through mystical training as astrologers have also been known to be sorcerers and sorceresses and have also been known to use various forms of psychic magic to enhance or even use divination abilities.

Con Artist; Some astrologers may be fakes trying to make money, gain power and influence, and if caught then not only would their reputations be ruined but their own people may put them to death for them gave insult to the gods.
Mortality; astrologers are generally mortal; however, some have been known to be divine beings as well.
Magic has a price.
Anti-Magic/Magic Destruction/Negation/Sealing/Magical Energy Absorption

Psychic Magic; Other users of psychic magics may be able to block/divert the sight of astrologers.
- Precognitive Diversion; only more powerful entities to divert/block the sight/knowledge of an astrologer.
