User with this ability either is or can transform into a cupid, originally the god of desire, affection and erotic love portrayed as a slender winged youth, but later and especially in modern forms as a winged baby or child armed with an arrow and bow that compel anyone to fall in love with each other.

In contemporary popular culture, Cupid is shown shooting his bow to inspire romantic love, while in mythology his arrows could invoke either intense, passionate love/desire or equal hate.

Cupid’s powers of love are weakened against powers based in hatred. Unless the cupid in question is being empowered by a strong force of love to nullify and overpower that hatred.

Trivia[]

The name Cupid originates from the Roman god of Love, Sexuality, Desire and Beauty. His Greek counterpart being is the primordial God Eros. Only later in myths did the winged Gods known as the Erotes become known as Cherubs and Cupids.
