Capabilities

The user can kill a deity/deities or any divine embodiment they may choose to get rid of. They are resistant to the effects of a deity and are capable of killing the specified deity. The user may be a deity with vast or corrupting powers or a being higher than a deity. Because deities are powerful and numerous, it may require instigating a war to kill them all at once.

The Returners (Final Fantasy VII) Terra Branford. Locke, Celes, Edgar, Sabin, Cyan, Shadow, Gau and Relm were able to slay Kefka after he became a God of Magic.

Cloud Strife (Final Fantasy VII) with some help of his allies Tifa, Aerith, Barret, Nanaki/Red XII, Cid, Vincent, Yuffie and Cait Sith was able to slay Sephiroth after he ascended to godhood twice and in another timeline killed the God of Fate the Whisper Harbinger.

Claire Farron/Lightning (Final Fantasy XII: Lightning Returns) slew the god Bhunivelz and became a goddess herself.

Kratos (God of War) was the prophesied the downfall of Olympus. Because of this, his father Zeus betrayed his son and send him on a path of vengeance and desolation all aimed at all the Gods.

Prince Zagreus (Hades) was able to slay his divine father Hades and escape the underworld.

Princess Melinoë (Hades II) is able slay multiple gods and titans, including Kronos and Prometheus.

Shinbu (Kingdom of Paradise) is a powerful warrior who was able to master all five Sword and Chi Arts of the Five Clans, mastering the San'Yuan in its purest state; slaying Genbu, Suzaku, Byakko, Seiryu, and even Banko, learning the Pure San'Yuan, representing the Sun, Moon, and Stars.

Shao Kahn (Mortal Kombat) has killed many gods, most notably Raiden and Fujin.

Raiden (Mortal Kombat) has slain other gods such as Shinnok.

Shang Tsung (Mortal Kombat) after gaining the power of Kronika's Crown was able to slay the divine Titan who controlled time himself reducing her to nothing.

Ryu Hayabusa (Ninja Gaiden) is a ninja of the Dragon Lineage. Although he his human, he possesses connections to philosophical and spiritual arts. Due to this, Ryu is able to push past his physical limitations, allowing him to defeat supernatural beings and even supreme deities.

Satanael (Persona 5) was able to kill Yaldabaoth, the God of Control, in a single hit of its Sinful Shell.

Arjuna (TYPE-MOON) wields Pashupata, a divine contract that judges all targets caught in range. If the target fails, they are invariably granted moksha (instant death). The higher one's Divinity is, the higher the probability of Moksha being delivered.

Karna (TYPE-MOON) weilds Vasavi Shakti, an anti-divine weapon that can kill a god in a single attack.

Scathach (TYPE-MOON) possesses the God Slayer skill.

When summoned as an Alter Ego, Senji Muramasa (TYPE-MOON) is fused with Susanoo and Hodr, resulting in him gaining the God Slayer skill.

Yamato Takeru's (TYPE-MOON) Extermination of Gods and Demons skill him an advantage over both Divine and Demonic opponents.

Longinus (Valkyrie Crusade) wields the holy spear Longinus, that can destroy deities.
